They are both indirectly not in support of bitcoin. Even if Trump is speaking positively about bitcoin now, that does not mean that he has good intentions for the technology; it's all about standing with something that can help his political agenda. That's all I see here. So if you are casting your vote, it should be based on what you think the person can be able to do to help the country achieve more height and the citizen be more comfortable, not what they promised to do for bitcoin, which I doubt they will even keep their word once they achieve that political office. Governments hate privacy and anonymity, so anyone standing and representing a government office, especially that of the US, can hardly stand fully with Bitcoin.

For Biden, he has been vocal about his stance on Bitcoin and that hasn't shifted but for Trump's case, we see that he's now pro Bitcoin in recent times because not only is it lucrative but it can also swing so many supporters his way as he bids for another shot at being president of the US. If you ask me, I'd say Biden really hates Bitcoin and won't be seen associating or buying it, whereas Trump can be said to be a business man who looks to thr currency that is holdinguch sway in the market. It's safe to call him an opportunist as well. You can see in his speech that he promised to make sure Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are given free rein when he becomes president, promised to free Ross Ulbricht and also free Julian Assange. As a crypto enthusiast, if you hear all these words, won't you be moved to cast your vote for him? But the question there will be; can he pull through with these words or will they just be that? Words. .

Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.
Trump promises massive changes to the US economy:
1. He will deport 5% of the US workforce, leading to massive labor shortages and shortfalls for things like Social Security that depends on younger workers.
2. He will make abortion illegal nationwide, which will require the largest new law enforcement effort in the US since the Prohibition (which begat the FBI, let us not forget). Such a crackdown is going to necessarily need to come after things like Bitcoin since it can be used to pay for illegal abortions.
3. He will surely manipulate the market for his own purposes, making himself and family billions of dollars, but at the expense of ordinary investors. (Trump could effectively make Bitcoin illegal with a simple order, and force Americans to replace Bitcoin with TrumpCoin, since the price into the toilet).
The safest vote, if you value your Bitcoin, is to stick with the president who saw the price appreciate by 500%.

If they were actually the ones who made the tweets,
Biden used the definite statement that he will "never," while Trump just said he is not a fan. Someone who is not a fan can later change their opinions and views on something when they get to understand that thing and then like it.
With "never," you have likely closed any chance to even change your mind, so I'd say Biden has a stronger negative view about bitcoin than Trump has.

None, if you want to vote for Bitcoin, it's better to vote this guy. AFAIK he haven't talk anything bad about Bitcoin, although politician is always a politician, you can't really trust anything come from their mouths. If I could say, Trump will 100% win the election since he's always stand out than the other candidates.

These tweets are to prevent someone from getting scammed by impersonator accounts. Some time back there was a hack that allowed scammers to take over accounts of big names and use them to ask for crypto and a lot many people lost money like that before it was patched.
What some president thinks about should not be our worry, because bitcoin is decentralized. There is election campaigns going on in US and a lot of things will get talked about that we will like or not like.
There is no reading between the lines here, because in reality you have to buy bitcoin yourself, they will not make it easier for you.
However if US stance over crypto becomes lax, we can expect other countries to follow, which might have a impact.

Trump may have shifted his stance and made some concrete statements in support of Bitcoin. That doesn't make things easy for him. It's a tough job being the president of the United States and still supporting Bitcoin because BTC's dominance in the financial sector could whittle down the influence of the USD. What's exciting about Trump is his shifting stance towards crypto. What's uncertain about him is that he may yet shift again after being elected and faced with the choice of supporting either the USD against BTC or letting BTC thrive at the expense of the USD. With countries like China, India, Russia, South Africa, and Iran seeking an opportunity to drop the USD as a reserve currency, it's the wrong time for a US president to fully back BTC.

The situation is evolving with time and development. Trump is known for adapting his stance when he deems it appropriate. Previously, he opposed Bitcoin before the approval of ETFs and regulatory involvement, but his position has since changed. As I mentioned earlier on many threads that, President Biden has already facilitated the path for Bitcoin by not standing in the way of the approval process for Bitcoin ETFs, recognizing that his involvement could potentially complicate matters. Although Biden has not fully endorsed Bitcoin, there has been a noticeable easing.
Trump, on the other hand, is strategically getting support from various voter groups. He is a clever individual who understands how to attract attention. As crypto enthusiasts, we immerse ourselves in the world of cryptocurrency. To understand how he is appealing to other sectors, one should look for his statements in those fields, which often differ from his previous statements. Ultimately, this is all part of political methods. The crucial question remains whether he will fulfill his promises.

Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.
You are talking about nearly four years that last through 2 market cycles, not only one market cycle. So the high ROI like 500% is explainable but it is not because of Biden. If you want to compare like this, let's check ROI of Bitcoin farther in the past like another previous 4-year, under Trump. https://casebitcoin.com/https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/The price of Bitcoin since December 2016 to December 2020 is from $900 to more than $20,000, so what is the ROI here? Is it better than ROI under Biden? I don't support anyone, Biden or Trump, just share the figure to debunk the non-sense saying from you.

You keep manipulating people into believing Biden did miracles to Bitcoin. Bitcoin went up over 3000% under president Trump. Last time, you said you only said this about Biden because the Regulations did not negatively affect the Price of Bitcoin. I suppose this means the Regulations during the Presidency of Trump helped Bitcoin even more, considering the numbers Bitcoin made during that time?

You don't need to lay emphasis on which of them hate it, rather which of them would help the Technology in the positive direction.
Donald Trump might not be a fan, but from his write-up I believe what he meant is running Bitcoin under a well regulated body in other to avoid criminal and illegal activities because of Bitcoin usage.
In essence both of them are standing on the ground of neutrality, except policies implemented says otherwise.

If you look more closely on the statement dates, they are all what have been mentioned in the past years now close to give years ago, which also tells that maybe by then, they were not interested in it and doesn't have much idea about what bitcoin could turn in the future as now what they have to require for in other for them to gain the public interest of all bitcoin enthusiast and investors in voting for them, that is why it is more difficult for us now to detect whether all these they were all saying are true or not concerning bitcoin or they are only trying to achieve their own personal agenda in politics playing games with bitcoiners.

I would say no one should be believe when it comes to crypto. There are bigger issues for them to handle and your voting should not be based on just cryptocurrency.
Politicians can make thousands of promises about anything and everything under the sun. But they may not fulfill such promises after the election. We have many such examples. So focus on the bigger picture while voting.

Even if Trump is speaking positively about bitcoin now, that does not mean that he has good intentions for the technology; it's all about standing with something that can help his political agenda. That's all I see here. A politician can promise to make everybody rich if he is elected. The problem is that you cannot hold them responsible for the promise they made doing politicking. They will give you many reasons why they might not fulfill the election promises. Both Trump and Biden have nothing to lose if they decide not to fulfill their campaign promises since both of them might never seek re-election if they win or lose. So if you are casting your vote, it should be based on what you think the person can be able to do to help the country achieve more height and the citizen be more comfortable, not what they promised to do for bitcoin, which I doubt they will even keep their word once they achieve that political office. There are so many issues that voters should consider besides favorable Bitcoin laws. What is the candidate's plan for the economy, immigration, foreign policies, military spending, etc is also important. Crypto-friendly Americans shouldn't consider just Trump's crypto manifesto. Governments hate privacy and anonymity, so anyone standing and representing a government office, especially that of the US, can hardly stand fully with Bitcoin.
No politician or government will ever support decentralization. They will always want to monitor and control the financial dealings of their citizens.

Exactly. This coming US election is almost entirely about one thing, which is: * Abortion stays legal = vote for Biden
* Abortion is criminalized across the USA = vote for Trump
Everything else will just be an excuse for most people. Compared to this issue (for either side, given how polarizing this issue is), nothing else really matters.

I still remember statements about Bitcoin in different years but I can't show the source. 2021 stated that if Bitcoin is a scam, the government must regulate it. In 2024, a statement emerged that the remaining Bitcoin that had not been circulated had to be mined. Now, they continue to mention positive things about Bitcoin in every political campaign space. I don't really believe what politicians say.

If Trump has come out in support of bitcoin, I'm not sure how that makes him not in support of it? Now if you asked me do I think that Donald Trump truly understands bitcoin and fully supports it do to the technological advances it's brought to our world, then I would say no as I don't believe either one of these guys has any clue how bitcoin actually works, what the blockchain is or anything of that nature.
