no one hates bitcoin or loves bitcoin more, both move based on their own interests and their party. if you say that trump is quite pro bitcoin, then you should see his statement on bitcoin when he was president, you can see how what he says now is the opposite of what he said before, and now it makes him only use pro-bitcoin for his own interests. and if you say that biden is not pro bitcoin, then you should see how the bitcoin market is currently growing in the us and how bitcoin regulations there are being improved.

so about bitcoin, these two candidates are actually the same, there is no guarantee that trump or biden can make bitcoin better there and not get discrimination.

Both these guys are politicians and would most likely do or say what would give them votes at them time. At the time of writing making that post, it might most likely be that saying they're against Bitcoin would have given them more votes or more support, but right now their stance might have changed as we can see with Trump. This doesn't mean they really care about bitcoin, they only truly care about the votes.
I honestly don't care about politicians views on things like this even though they have the power to influence it one way or the other. I believe that whatever they say is for their own interests or interests of their party.
Nether of them can stop bitcoin though. They can only make stricter regulations, but they can't stop it .

Who is the right guy to vote if it all depends on their stance on Bitcoin. Can we carefully read in-between the lines?

I will vote for Donald Trump as a bitcoin enthusiast and want bitcoin to be at least be more legal and a lawful asset to be used in my country when he comes on seat. Not expecting much though, but given it a trial is now a bad idea at all.

If they were actually the ones who made the tweets,

Biden used the definite statement that he will "never," while Trump just said he is not a fan. Someone who is not a fan can later change their opinions and views on something when they get to understand that thing and then like it.

With "never," you have likely closed any chance to even change your mind, so I'd say Biden has a stronger negative view about bitcoin than Trump has.

The example you point out from those two statements is clearly how every logical person will think when they analyse this statements. They are both politicians, so I won’t take any of their positive thought about bitcoin very serious becaus they can do or say anything in order to their way into that seat. Trump have always been a critics of bitcoin before now, why the sudden change and love for bitcoin when he’s about to contest for presidency again? Don’t you think the massive surge in bitcoin from that time till now made him have a way to lure bitcoin lover to vote him in the upcoming elections too? Maybe I might be thinking too deeply or out of context, but politicians are not to be trusted 100% in my opinion.

At the end of the day, this election is about change.

If you want to stick with the situation that saw Bitcoin go up 500% under president Biden, or do you want to take your changes with radical changes?

Do you want abortion to stay legal in the United States as it has been, or do you want it to be illegal?

People can have different answers to those questions above, but that's what this election boils down to.

I think neither presidential candidate really cares about Bitcoin. What they care about is getting more voters. I think a lot of people from the Bitcoin community like Trump because he made himself seem very pro-Bitcoin. They hope he will do good things for Bitcoin which will make the price go up.

I agree, neither of them likes bitcoin or cryptocurrency at all, the purpose of everything they do and promise is just because they want us to vote for them. But at least former President Trump has publicly supported bitcoin, and if he is elected and fulfills his promises, we will have a chance to develop further. Meanwhile, with the current administration, they are even trying to raise taxes and impose more regulations to slow our growth. So, it is not surprising that more crypto investors expressed support for candidate Trump than the current administration.

Let inform you theirs no government that is in support of bitcoin, but individually they might have passions on bitcoin but one or two things will make them not speak out when their assume powers, many countries criticism cryptocurrency mostly Bitcoin and that is not what we will use to campaign against them, so what I really want us to know is that Biden can state what's good about bitcoin why it motive to do so is because they wants people to vote them in office and also Donald Trump maybe speaking good about bitcoin and it's possible that if he assumed office it will not valid bitcoin, so politicians is not something you will give 80% trust.

We can't really know exactly what the two of them are thinking about bitcoin, but you can't take someone's past and judge their present. Everyone has the right and can change their views and that has happened to many people, not just Trump. Additionally, I don't think Biden is taking a fair stance on crypto by trying to increase taxes on miners to 30%, condoning the SEC's aggressive actions against a series of exchanges and crypto companies as well as trying to shut down mixers...If Biden continues to serve as president in the next term, we don't know what other harsh regulations he will introduce to the markets. Meanwhile, Trump will be able to introduce regulations that are friendlier to us.

In a recent interview, Larry Fink said that he is a big believer in Bitcoin after researching it and he also admitted that he was wrong to doubt it five years ago. Do you think Larry Fink is a liar like Trump?

these were from the past but I believe a real politician stands his own ground

i would only believe a politician who’s in support of bitcoin if they have been showing support to it even prior to elections what a politician say or do when there is no election at stake is the sincerest and raw he can ever be

They are both not in support of bitcoin but are refusing to be outright about it so it doesn't trigger the population whos into bitcoin not to support them, for me, if their victory is crypto dependent then in clear terms, neither of them should win because obviously neither of them will promote crypto currency to thrive in their rule. if i am to vote based on their concerns with cryptocurrency, I'm voting non i will want someone who can state in clear terms their support from crypto currency then we can be sure he mentioned it and to hold him by his words if the need arises.

When you see people hate something like Bitcoin, it's either because they didn't have the opportunity to buy get it early like others or they are afraid the attention it's getting because it's going to affect their own place of wealth which is the traditional finance they keep modifying every year so it wouldn't collapse. Most of these men only understand the system they were but it seems they are now woke and because it's now a political movement and they have to accept it in their manifesto.

I personally don't believe them, anyone that want to donate Bitcoin to them is free to donate to them but I have nothing to give. It is unbelievable for people to even think a man like Trump that has serve the US for 4 good years with all the money he has accumulated will come out to say that he needed the support of people and they are donating their hard earned bought Bitcoin to sponsor another person political ambition, this is the highest level of foolishness I have seen in a while but I pray he win so I can he wrong.

I honestly do not think Bitcoin needs their validation to grow, we all have seen from past records that both Donald Trump and Biden have never been fans of Bitcoin. Donald Trump in particular has seized every opportunity given to him to express his hatred for bitcoin. I do not really care if he is now a repented sinner or he is trying hard just like every other politician to gather supporters to himself. If he has succeeded in pulling some Bitcoin enthusiasts to himself, then good for him. I strongly that Bitcoin will still grow stronger with or without some fake support from these political leaders.

People change. Their opinions change. Trump is pro-bitcoin now. Biden is anti-bitcoin. Trump is the one who will be talking at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville on July/27. It is pretty clear to me which is which.

Biden is not "anti-Bitcoin" and has never made any policy decisions that would indicate anything of the kind.

Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden, and the reason for that is he simply kept things as they are and put criminals like SBF in prison, keeping the market safe for average investors.

Trump is a known liar who will say absolutely anything in order to get elected, even if what he said one day contradicts what he said the day after that. Bitcoin might well be made illegal under Trump if somebody convinced him he would personally profit from that.

You have a good point here. Biden has probably closed any chance of liking bitcoin but with Trump, there's always a big chances from not a fan to become a fanatic and now he's very supportive with bitcoin and its community. I don't know if this is just part of the play or he's really into bitcoin, but one thing is certain, we will find out everything once the election is over. But for now, let's just focus on how to vote wisely. Biden and Trump have both potentials to win, but seeing Trump has become more open-minded to cryptocurrency particularly bitcoin, I think that will make him gain an edge over Biden while winning the hearts of the bitcoin community.

Who is the right guy to vote if it all depends on their stance on Bitcoin. Can we carefully read in-between the lines?
None, if you want to vote for Bitcoin, it's better to vote this guy. AFAIK he haven't talk anything bad about Bitcoin, although politician is always a politician, you can't really trust anything come from their mouths. If I could say, Trump will 100% win the election since he's always stand out than the other candidates.
But Bitcoin is not included in the choices, although I think what you really mean is Biden because his name is also close to it and your description is about this guy because I heard positive comments about him before from both the Bitcoin community and outside it. I also heard that Trump have said negative things in Bitcoin in the past, although last time there is a post here which states that Trump is warmly supporting Bitcoin once again. That could be true, I mean for a while only because we know that the US election is coming once again. You know, he want to get the sympathy of the Bitcoin users, as he knows that there are lots of them. And if we will check the date of the image in the first post, we will see that the date is still from the year of 2019.

I respect your opinion about Trump but I think, the reason on why Trump is more trendy than the rest of the candidates, is because of his shady doings and negative opinions about something that are not really negative (BTC for example). Sorry about that if you find that offensive but anyways, I think you should pick Joe Biden instead of Donald Trump because this is where your first few sentences are saying and only/also to not contradict your whole post.

You are right about politicians and everyone knows it, they are really untrustworthy and the votes of crypto investors are not the main factor in deciding who gets elected. But we only have 2 options and no third option here, if you had to choose who would you choose?

One person is declaring support for bitcoin on all fronts, anytime, anywhere. A person who has introduced many regulations to prevent the development of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, they appear to dislike bitcoin and have no intention of ending the repression of crypto. As a bitcoin investor, who do you think presents a clearer opportunity for us? I think it's not too difficult to figure out who we should vote for.

Misleading. There was a crypto related hack in 2020 on which joe's tweet was a response to. Twitter accounts of many famous people were hacked, and promoting a bitcoin scam, on which the real users had to warn their followers not to fall into. He didn't came out of the blue just to say he hates bitcoin. Everyone who was worried about their followers had to respond.

And this is unrelated, but Trump's twitter account wouldn't have been that hard to hack eiher: https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-55337192

This is probably the case, in fact I believe that they do not "dislike" bitcoin, I just believe that both of them are nearly 80 years old, which means that there is a chance that we may actually consider the situation as "they do not care about it at all" type of situation.

This doesn't mean that it is going to happen or not, it just means that we are going to end up with something that will take a while for them to realize what's going to happen. If we can do that, then we could potentially end up making something that will take a while longer. Trump and Biden probably just ignore it, they don't care, it is not on their agenda, personally they have no opinion about it at all.

People change. Their opinions change. Trump is pro-bitcoin now. Biden is anti-bitcoin. Trump is the one who will be talking at the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville on July/27. It is pretty clear to me which is which.

Biden is not anti-Bitcoin and never has been.

Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.
