The world of gaming is consistently growing, Newer systems and mechanisms are being built and put in place to enhance this sphere of cryptocurrency.

Thus, Ancient8 has come forth as a project bearing new innovations and better gaming infrastructure for the continuity of gaming in Web3. Built off the ethereum L2 stack, it seeks to develop softwares that'll offer immersive gaming experience.

Interestingly, $A8 has good blueprints to bring these into fruition. With over $6M raised in its private round I'm optimistic as to its growth.

I'll really love to know what y'all think about this project and other gaming based projects, I will be in the comments. Thank you.

My opinion probably A8 will just become another blockchain for gaming like ronin but not gonna be an impressive one however i can be wrong, since gaming blockchain game's development in the ecoystem heavily relies on partnership if i'm not mistaken

the data about the TPS from the past day doesn't show impressive amount and the TVL is low either, maybe it's because the blockchain itself is still in early stage.

I don't expect this blockchain development of web3 game to be that massive.

What an interesting thread. It seems like you're really energetic. You think A8 will be big in the future. Honestly, blockchain gaming is nothing special here. I don't know the purpose of this blockchain. A8 claimed to be a gaming blockchain. But, why do we need a new blockchain? The current one can handle in-game NFT transactions smoothly without getting clogged.
I don't even see the strong point to create a new blockchain related to the gaming. Many blockchains can handle games with no such demands. They are scalable enough. We have many blockchain gaming available in the market, such as Immutable and many more. I'd see this as a chance for them to take money grabber.

The $6 million from the private round is nothing. Based on what I have seen in the past, many crypto games have died because they had no users. This is because none of these projects are attractive. I have seen the games on A8 ecosystem, and it's all mini games.
There's nothing interesting to be played on A8 ecosystem.

The performance from A8 price looks so damn weak now. I'm telling you about the truth. All in all, i don't really see the urgency to release a blockchain game. Probably a method to selling your idea for money.

Their ecosystem and backers looks similar to Mocaverse..
Tbh, haven't been impressed by gamefi for a while now, but I'll keep a keen eye on A8, saw it on Bitget spot few days ago, thayll make it easy for me to track its price trend.

Too much competition for it to become the next big L2 for gaming project.

the miniscule $6 million raised from private round won't do much, since there are also blockchain that is more established and easily cater to the need of gaming project that requires both scalability and popularity which is what TON is exactly doing.
back then it was solana that's being used for gaming project such as nyan and mon and right now it's TON.
The trend shifted but not to L2 I guess so take it with grain of salt, because I think L2 has very little chance to excel in this niche.

For me, there wasn't a single good game project that would combine blockchain and have an engaging game mechanics, it either lacked the UI, the feeling of wanting more of it, or everything alltogether. There are also many projects that I know personally that don't have something good in them for the gamers themselves, as the gameplay is very poorly made and the mini transcations rule. For example: Decentraland, Splinterlands, Kryxivia, and much more. I think it's just too early for a good game to pop up in that direction, and that's neither good or bad. Thus, I am sceptical to all projects in this sphere, but I hope that Ancient 8 will prove me wrong.

That's a great question! Ancient 8 does show promise as a next-gen L2 gaming project. Its focus on building immersive gaming experiences on the Ethereum L2 stack is definitely intriguing. With $6M raised in its private round, it's clear that investors see potential in its innovative approach.
I'm excited to see how Ancient 8's software developments will enhance the gaming experience in Web3. The project's blueprints do look solid, and I'm hopeful that it will deliver on its promises.
As for other gaming-based projects, there are several notable ones worth keeping an eye on. Projects like Aleo, Eigen, and others are also making waves in the gaming and Web3 space.

Didn't see those in the last part of your post (Aleo and EigeN), will definitely check them out! Can you tell me a bit more about them?
