What are you looking for regarding credit cards? Privacy.com acts as a barrier between your private account data and the shops that you want to buy from, often generating Virtual Cards that allow you to give card details without fearing for a future leak from a specific service because those cards were created just for that specific purpose (i.e they only allow to pay up to $50 USD).

Once again good to see that you are finding and figuring out more ways to enhance your privacy which is one thing most and all bitcoin users are fighting to protect, although many have lost they privacy over centralised service usage, but the avoidance of that will do more good in the future as the government is constantly looking for ways to take privacy away from the people.

Between that also worth mentioning that privacy is a right and not a privilege so you are the only one responsible for your privacy, that is why you need to be mindful where you share your data's online.

I hope to be careful really. I'm trying my best to ensure that at the very least I'm private to the point where criminals both low-level and high-level cannot find me no matter what. That's my main goal. I also don't mind trying to privatize some of my personal stuff from the government on top of that.

Yeah, thats exactly what I'm looking for. But I don't wanna just give away my personal info for that.

This website I use extremely often has billing information stored and it ticks me off quite alot. I wanna improve my privacy with this website by avoiding using a card with my real information to complete purchases

Well I suppose you can also try MySudo[1] which offers part of the service like Privacy.com but also extend to a couple more (they offer a plan where you get e-mail, space, phone number amongst other things[2]) but I believe you won't avoid handing over a couple of private information in that service as well.

This depends on the person if they will take their privacy seriously and once they learn it the hard way then that's the start they take it seriously. Those who does doesn't use platforms that ask KYC hence the people here on the forum asking for platforms that doesn't ask for KYC that lets them buy and sell bitcoin or asking for casinos that doesn't ask KYC. Good luck keeping your privacy and hope you'll fins what you are looking for like what rickdeckard provided.

Browsing the website a little bit further I did found out what was expected and comprehensible - in order to user virtual cards they will ask you personal information[1]. If you're looking for a legit service you won't find anyone that won't abide by these rules and if you do be very aware as they will probably will scam you out of your card details.

Just use crypto virtual cards, and you don't have to write your actual name or address for (most) payments.
But this all depends based on what you are purchasing, something virtual or physical items that needs to be delivered to your address.
Cards from Stealths.net or from Bit.store usually works fine for most people, but first read the terms before using them.

Zebec Black Card is a reloadable debit card with minimal KYC. There is also some lists compiled with different crypto debit cards. Some of them are completely KYC free, but you can look on their websites to see what are the verification requirements.

I have used some of these cards and they usually work well enough but your purchases might get declined from time to time.

I was in the middle of trying to set this up but one of the agreements said they wanted to process my personal information for data marketing or something I partially forgot it felt weird.

You must already know that there is no full privacy on the internet.
Unfortunately, privacy is almost impossible to be achieved, but on the other hand, it is astonishingly easy to be lost.
We secured safe path for ourselves, just do the appropriate moves and accomplish goals on our target list. We the power to abstain from all fraudulent activities because they tend to portray harm to us. Privacy is very important and we should do everything to ensure we keep our data safe, mostly away from thr public. The system is been open for all kind of fraudulent activities and the world we live in today is consumed by the evil planted by these online fraud.

Very well said mate, because on the Internet only luck and right steps can protect your privacy, and for anyone who is seeking privacy, there is a need to know that there is a responsibility that comes with such a demand and at some point many are lost in the quest for privacy.

But then as an internet users, who have nothing to lose, how then is privacy or kyc a wholes issue for you, if you don't Trust the platform asking for your kyc, you can look else where, that is not a big deal, as long a syou know what you want from those platforms.

I tried signing up using Google Play and for some reason it keeps saying error, doesn't let me even create my MySudo account to purchase the VCC
Well that may be due a couple of reasons[1]:
Quote
You are in an unsupported country.
You have created too many MySudo accounts.
For Android: Your device is rooted, has an unlocked boot loader, or custom ROM.
For Android: You are not signed into a Google account, or you did not download from the Google Play Store. In this case, please see this article.
You can check the current available countries in here[2]. Most likely your country is not covered by MySudo services, hence the error.

I think you are right that protecting our privacy online needs both luck and good choices. Wanting privacy means being responsible but some people get confused. If we have nothing to hide then KYC rules should not be big deal. If we do not trust website we can just use different one that we like better. It is about being careful what we share online and making good choices. Keeping our privacy safe is important but it should not stop us from using the internet.

Definitely. Privacy is subjective but there are some guidelines that suit all of us and drastically affect our privacy. My point was that if mr. A wanted 100% privacy, they wouldn’t be able to achieve it and, the more they would try, the deeper they would fall in the privacy rabbit hole.

1000 guesses/sec is nothing. Make that a billion and 4 words is not enough.

Privacy has layers. My company knows who I am, my doctor knows what's wrong with me, but random people online do not need to know who I am.

You're right, assuming
1. the password is protected with weak hash (such as single SHA-256).
2. the attacker know you use 4 common English words.

Alternatively, you could use less common English words or 6 words.
