ETH ETF could bring about huge inflow to the ethereum market and also pump its price but I guess it will be smaller effect compared to BTC ETF, which is normal since overall market cap of ETH is lesser than bitcoin.
but i think the market sentiment will also have big role, since market is quite uncertain on what path bitcoin gonna take whether it's gonna be bullrun or retesting the bearish resistance again.

overall pretty bullish with current circumstance but always on the lookout for the people that sell at the news.

there will be definitely speculations that could potentially make ethereum rise in price if the timing is perfect it could even coincide with bitcoin finally breaking out the 70k usd mark thus giving us a proper bull run

Yes definitely it won't have as much effect as the BTC ETF but I expect some kind of bullish movement from ETH even if it might just be temporary

It's good for more liquidity but it's not that exciting since the product isn't too beneficial. People can always buy BTC/ETH directly in CEX. What I need is more like a basket of tokens like VOO, SPY, etc., which are a basket of securities. So I don't need to buy individual stocks to create a portfolio. I only need to buy this ETF to get hundreds of stocks at a fraction of the cost (compared to if I buy it individually).

This has been discussed many times before. I don't get what the hype is all about. What makes ETH spot ETFs better than their BTC counterparts? ETH is a big market cap coin, but it's nowhere near close to BTC in terms of mainstream adoption and decentralization. I'd expect a smaller capital influx into ETH spot ETFs compared to BTC spot ETFs.

Despite these facts, I'm certain ETH spot ETFs will trigger a massive boost in market prices. Especially altcoins. Many are talking about Solana ETFs once ETH ETFs receive the "green light" from the SEC. Afterwards, we might be seeing spot ETFs for Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Zcash, etc. A big win for holders of these coins if you ask me. With "Wall Street" in the game, many early adopters of crypto will become filthy rich in the future. That's what we want, right?

You said it can provide more liquidity, then this is really exciting. If you mean about the ETF directly, then yes because we are not the target customer of it because we already get used to the old way of acquiring a crypto. Only those who are more in a traditional way are the ones who are going to be excited for this. The basket that you are talking about have already existed but if you mean about the crypto one, there is also one presented here before by a user named Pandora, (not sure if I got that correctly).

Is ETF? The same with it? I even searched what ETF mean and it seems I'm correct because this is also what its definition are saying. That is, it holds multiple assets, stocks, etc... and it seems that you now realize their importance there. This could be their main advantage over buying a crypto manually in the crypto exchanges.

Well it could initially be a sell the news event. Bitcoin ETFs didn’t pump the price initially, it took a while. I expect something similar could happen with the Ethereum ETFs. Although, Bitcoin is beginning to move up at the moment & alts usually closely follow. In other words, be prepared for all possibilities but obviously mid to long term, Ethereum ETFs will bring a lot of capital in.

Its good to see the development happen on those ETF applications, but don't expect anything about it. Since if you are looking for good price growth then maybe you will just might get disappointed if the price rise will never came if that approval happens.

So just to your normal activities and focus to generate good profits from your investment. If they approve ETH ETF then its good since that means slowly top alts became more better and for that we would see that lots of investor are now exploring the possibilities to trade Bitcoin or ETH.

For more ETFs to follow. BTC started it, ETH followed soon after, I reckon we're going to see a lot more of the mainstream coins in the future. Most likely the ones that people most recommend to invest since they're generally profitable in the long run.

Celebration? Ehh I think we've done enough with Bitcoin ETF. Anything that follows after just basks in its remaining glory imo. As for price, could potentially give a spike but if we were to compare it with the Bitcoin ETF, it didn't actually make a wave in the market afaik. Might see the same here.

I am not sure what these ETFs will bring specifically, but judging by the excitement you have shown, I think they will have a positive impact. If these ETFs are successful, it could lead to an altcoin season, possibly sparking a small bull run. I am hopeful about the outcome, but it all depends on the demand on the exchanges where they will be traded. If the demand is high like it is for Bitcoin ETFs, then it is good news for everyone in the community. I believe it is best to observe the cryptocurrency market after the trading begins, as it will take some time to see the results of the ETF outcomes.

I've never appreciated this ETF of a thing like many of you guys do. Crypto has prepared for its way of purchasing, selling, trading, investing etc naturally by itself, so this ETF of a thing is just a copycat of the traditional ways. People forget that stocks and other non-FX assets can't accept funds and pay withdrawals all by themselves but through third parties (brokers and ETFs) that's the difference, they need it. But Bitcoin and other crypto can, which will not make the ETF of a thing make so much difference. Even if people know the difference better, they would prefer handling their funds all by themselves.

However, ETF will still be able to convert some new adopters who are afraid of direct crypto investments but such investors are still unaware because they are investing in the same projects. If anything, they will have to pay more because ETF companies will not serve you for free. Let's see how it goes. Nevertheless, their performance will also follow the hierarchy of the market capitalization of the current crypto standing where Bitcoin will lead, Ethereum will follow and so on. This will continue even if 1000+ cryptos get the approval, ETF can change nothing.

I would say that it will definitely help with buying, a lot of people will be willing to buy ETF over buying the coin itself. This is why it's quite clear that we can't make it work any other way, it has to be something that will take some time. I would say that it is going to be hard to handle, it will not be simple, but we need to make sure that we are dealing with something that will take some time.

This is why I believe that we are dealing with something that will make us a lot of money as well. ETF companies are dealing with THOUSANDS of customers every day about this, so when they do it, that is why it will be so hard for them, but for us? We will not deal with any of that, and we will just profit from the increase without dealing with any of those customers.

And you may think those customers could be easy people to handle, but these are people who failed to buy a coin, so they needed someone to talk to in order to be able to buy it, the yare basically people who have no idea about any of this, and will bother the customer support like crazy. I sense that it will be good for the market, we just need to make sure that we can handle everything else, keep buying up and wait for the ETF's to bulk buy them.

It will bring nothing but more speculation. There is nothing special in ETF other than the attraction it brings from the institutional investors, it brings their attention to crypto but the money doesn't comes to crypto, it's stays in heir ETF trading place where there buy and sell doesn't affect the price of crypto, in short they all followed crypto and behave like crypto but they are not crypto but just people that want crypto but doesn't want to buy real crypto.

The ETFs will only makes coins concentrated to a single people as usual. Look at Blackrock for instance, people are buying ETFs and they are the ones keeping the equivalent number of Bitcoin been bought and it doesn't differentiate it from the centralized exchanges where users keep their coins on their exchanges. I just think the ETF are given publicity to crypto that's all unless because there is no way the demand of institutional will be bigger than that of real crypto users that used the main network.

Which ticker? AFAIK Pandora is a company name, not an ETF product.

There are many types of ETF, based on let's say underlying/tracked assets, at least can be divided into:
- Single asset, only track 1 type of asset, for instance, BTC
- Multi-asset, track 2+ assets but not hundreds, for instance, IDX30 ETF
- Index, track hundreds of assets, for example, VOO, SPY, VTI, etc.

Single-asset ETF isn't too beneficial especially for crypto since the hassle of making an account for the mainstream market is way higher than registering on Binance or whatever.

I've read speculations that the motivation behind the SEC’s decision is that crypto policy has become an election issue since Trump adopted a pro-crypto stance, which of course we heard Trump clearly declaring his stance for crypto invest investment. ETH ETF is likely to drive an increased demand for Ethereum. Imagine the Standard Chartered's target is higher, predicting ETH could reach $8,000 by the end of this year and $14,000 by 2025. Such bold predictions are what I like. Some CEX like Bitget are already offering events that reward users in ETH. Talking about the likes of Trade to share 7 ETH, and a signup bonus reward in ETH. A couple of other events in this space to drive an increased demand for Ethereum. Meanwhile many are not aware that there's no staking reward for holding ETF.

Just hype and nothing more that ETH ETF will bring to the market however, there will be little cash inflow because of the nature of Etherum and not many people will jump into it like they do with bitcoin.

We might be expecting the price of Etherum to pump but not up to the way bitcoin pumped and got a new ATH. Bitcoin price will still control Etherum price after the approval of ETH ETF.
