I just want to share that today I achieved member rank at this amazing forum. It feels so good. I am learning so much and only regret that I didn't find this wonderful place earlier. Congratulations @op and I can relate with how much joy you have and just as @Dunamisx have already said, you should move the thread to the appropriate thread for better visibility and let this new rank be a stepping stone to you to do better as I would love to see you get to full member rank so you can rock the forum more better.

Keep up the hard work and be always open to all criticisms as they are one of the best ways you can learn how to grow in the forum.

Thanks! I will keep this in mind when I will share my next achievement  . Though IMHO, I think it better suits here in terms of visibility and relevance.

One thing I would say to you though, no need to get too excited about a member rank. Frankly, it’s been such a long time since I saw anyone celebrate the member rank but, you give me that memory now. If it makes you feel good, congratulations and know that, you’ve got a lot ahead of you. The more you go, the tougher it becomes.

It does feel amazing to rank up on a forum where your performance as a member is judged through merits. I sometimes feel that apart from the decentralization of Bitcoin the forum merits system is decentralized as it is not in the hands of the admin. When you get ranked the best feeling is to be someone known in an anonymous environment which makes you feel proud. I have gone through the same feeling like you have and I think you would make a good active member of this forum if you continue in the same way as you have been when you were just a newbie. Now that you have tasted a bit of how it looks or feels to rank up, don't take it for granted and forget the normal and expected ways you should behave on the forum, make the forum rules and regulation be your first thing to know and get used to, this will determine your  stay here or not, the environment is already friendly as you can see, but i must remind you of not doing pass your boundaries in other for you the unleashed more better things to acquire from here.

There are more ranks for you to reach, so make sure you keep on making a positive impact on the forum, and I am sure soon you are going to be back to announce that you have just reached a new rank again(but you shouldn’t create a thread for it, there is already a thread which you can announce your achievement). Just continue with your hard work, and you are going to receive merits that will take you to a new rank, but make sure you are not in a rush to rank up so that you won’t end up doing things that you are not supposed to do, just have the mindset that you want to learn, and you want to impact on forum members also.

Tapping from his grace might not be enough, but you can just be you and do what you do best, learn, and share value with the forum. I believe you can also rank up in no time and also celebrate like the Op have done, even though you have to celebrate JNR member rank first before the member rank. You don't need to blame OP for what he did because I'd say he's new and mistakes happens, with time I don't think OP will make such errors on posting where he's not suppose to. The provided link is ok but mind you that if OP post in that already made thread the attention or traffic his thread have now won't be as we are seeing it, he needs to be noticed too, everybody does, all we need do is congratulate him and also do what you did by pointing him to the right direction.
OP, this is just the beginning so I'd say you shouldn't stop what you're doing, keep it up and you'd be surprised on how fast your rank will improve to the next one, congratulations.
