I wonder if that includes documentation writing too.
If so, we can expect to see a surge of Bitcoin Wiki applications.
It's hard to imagine they consider editing Bitcoin Wiki as part of technical development. Although i certainly hope they'll consider Bitcoin Core documentation as part of their grant.
Thanks for sharing but what I dislike from this information, this grant is
Payment will be in either bitcoin, USDC or USDT.
It should be in bitcoin only, the only option for the grant. It's grant for Bitcoin developers who truly believe in Bitcoin, its future and work for Bitcoin development. So it make very little sense to award them in either USDC or USDT.
Ironic how some of these bitcoin dev will opt for USDC or USDT to avoid volatility I guessed though, but I still don`t see it as an excuse since they`re trying improve the bitcoin network.
I don't see anything wrong by choosing USDT/USDC, especially when they have many responsibility (such as feed their family) or need some financial stability. Besides, improving Bitcoin network or protocol doesn't always increase Bitcoin price. Taproot isn't mention much on general media news, even less than Ordinal.
