Live on a campus with free electricity. Standard outlets available. Budget is $2000-3000. Any advice on what rig to buy and what to mine? Even if you get free electricity the competition in mining transactions is huge because you would need a mining setup which is profitable enough.
Besides that, if you will use campus electricity then they will get to know about it at some point or another.
In that case you will end up paying more than the electricity bills itself.
