Next time tell them to start a thread on the forum asking for ransom . The feedback they will receive will make them avoid bitcointalk.org forever.

While the forum is under stack they will struggle to make the post and we will struggle to reply to it. Would be worth the wait to troll the losers though.

The resources put into DDOS attacks can be very much redirected to something more productive, it's a wonder people still dedicate effort to it.

I’m having same issue here since morning.

Well, I got to figure out something to do with my life till this gets sorted out 

Funny but true. This also was applicable to me. I knew it was a down time which shouldn't last more than few hours, so I had to figure out what to do with my life before the forum returns to normal.
What I did was to watch old football matches of 90's, slept and woke to meet a restored forum. It has been long I last witnessed this in the forum. Who knows if FBI has started monitoring this forum again. Someone check if there's any mixer here
