So before you even talking about money you need to focus on those 3 things If those 3 things you have then you don't need to worry about money.

While things go bad in larger scale the less educated people will suffering most the low education and low knowledge is the cause of poverty you can be poor but it doesn't mean you have to be this way internet books and access to info is for free to everyone nowdays only excuse is your own lazy mind If you have no knowledge.
If you have some spare free time it's always good to read some book or talk with some smart educated person or even watch some smart Youtube video.
Don't worry about to judge If the knowledge you learn is correct or not the more you learn and more you study the more base knowledge you will have in order to judge the subject what you study or learn so don't think you will have fast capability to judge the knowledge you learn If it's right or wrong you need to learn and study a lot so more you know the more you develope your ability to choose what's right what's wrong and making the right judgement.
Be realistic you don't get smart in one year not even 5 years it takes 10 years to get some basic knowledge once you get this then the next 15-20 years you will build some advanched knowledge top on basic knowledge the foundation If you follow on this you never rush things and you let your growth and success to grow naturally in the orcanic process.- that's why a lot good ceo -s of companies are the old workers who just been working long time in the company.

Meanwhile, I think to stay focused on the goal, we also need to be aware of various temptations that come from outside, either from our friendship environment or social media, which have the potential to distract us from the goal. I concur with all you said but this is subjective you know. I have a friend that works from home and doesn't go out in the day to even see his street a week, he order for food and do shopping once a month but he doesn't joke with parties when there is one in the night, he can party and do all sort of things but I'm not financially bigger than that dude and he makes more money way than I do and trust me when I say he hang out well in the night with anyone ttat his gets at that particular time.

What I think is there is productive time and there is play time, all work without play make Jack a dull brain, you must entertain yourself but make sure not to go extreme, you must make friends if necessary but don't do the ones that will disturb you when you want to do work and make money, make sure you disable anything that is eye distracting and forget anyone that is too financially dependent on you.
