Using the word crash is as if everything is sinking down to the dipper part of the sea, which it's not.
 
All the reasons you have started to explain why the crypto price will be dropping are considerable facts, but I can't consider the crypto market to be crashing when the price of the major cryptos is not even down to 40% of their ATH. How can we consider that as crashing? 
 
As of today, the Bitcoin price has already seen $69,200, which is a good sign on the market. Although other coins are declining in price, some are down by 1% or above, but that's not yet a good reason to say that crypto is crashing.

I don't think you have an idea on what you're saying at all, which crypto is crashing? i hope you realized this is bitcoin discussion board and not economic or altcoins section, you cant keep mixing things up and expect to hear positive response from people concerning what you're saying, because by the way it appears now, i don't think you're having an idea of all these you're saying, as for bitcoin in cryptocurrency, it has come to stay and continue to make its relevant impact on the financial economy and all these caused for its continues adoption, so nothing is crashing here.

There is time difference of the info that source of yours for your reference. It's true bitcoin did experience dumps on earlier week if july but it almost eventually recover just this last week of the month.

If your thread means why crypto crash, not crashing, then yes, all of the mentioned can be the reasons. Crashing means its currently happening, when most crypto now are recovering already.

What do you mean by crypto crashing? You made the post today, and I haven’t seen any serious movement in the market. Even if there is a dump, it’s kind of little, but I am surprised that you said the market is crashing. Your account is still a newbie on the forum here, and I will say you are also new to the crypto space.
 
What I will tell you is that you should just take your time to learn about crypto. Don’t panic unnecessarily, even though there is no serious movement in the market. I don’t even think any investor will panic just because of the little dump that just happened.

I have confidence in bitcoin, no matter how it dumps, it’s going to bounce back. That’s why I do recommend people who are planning to invest for the long term to just invest in bitcoin. If the bitcoin price dumps, all you need is patience. If you can hold, then it’s going to bounce back with time.
 
I don’t see any serious dip in the market yet, but no matter how the market dumps, if I have any amount that I know I won’t be making use of for now, then I will use it to buy more bitcoin, and if I don’t have any free money, then I will just keep on holding the one I have tight.

If he is trying to create fuds, he needs more than that to make that happen because the bitcoin community is not moved by mere words but by reality and proven facts. With the date of the source link provided by the Op, we can even say that he is not updated on recent happenings on the market.
 
The market is recovering, and there is no point in anyone wanting to sell off their holdings when there has not been enough profit to account for, so it's a Hodl! Hodl !! Hodl !!! We don't see dip anywhere, and even if there is, that's not the time to sell, but rather a time to bag more.

Let just overlook the topic of this thread and try to read through what the ops is really trying to say, I wanted to look away from his negative statement on bitcoin ethereum or any other cryptocurrencies in the market reason being that I have a conclusions on people that make this kind of statement which is, they lack the basic knowledge of what their are saying and also don't know what and how the use the right word to convey a message such as this one, how can someone use the world crash for bitcoin on a bitcoin talk community where 💯 members are bitcoin advocates and professionals with long term track record in various bitcoin market analysis and how the cycle works with bitcoin.

Crypto Crashing? With the current conditions where bitcoin still remains at a price of more than $60k? I don't know how to say crash here because even though I'm a person who has only been in bitcoin for a few years, I've been at $15k before and I'm not too sure when bitcoin is now at $68k that it's crashing.

Bitcoin fluctuates in terms of price and it is a natural thing because after all we cannot continue to expect an increase without a temporary correction considering that it is precisely what makes bitcoin stronger in bouncing so this is only a temporary decline there is no need to say as if this is serious let alone say plummeting and not okay because seeing from the conditions bitcoin has remained the same until now even we are still on a good track for now.

Bitcoin could crash at some point but with regards to the current market price, I don’t think you are saying it correctly. In fact, bitcoin price is already making a positive increase even these past few days, so there’s no way that it’s currently crashing.

But if you mean to say that cryptos at some point will crash, yes it’s true. There are times they will get dump and consistently drop their prices, but when it comes to bitcoin, it will definitely recover after every drop so no worries here.

I think that you look at the actual narrative of it, the crypto market isn't crashing but we've seen Bitcoin get back to $68k today. And for the others and everything, they're following what Bitcoin is up to. I am holding and buying the dip, there's nothing new with this strategy and all of us should do the same.

Inflation around the world, and dramatic decreases of purchasing power of many fiat currencies, economic crisis will help more people to realize weakness of bank systems and fiat currencies under governmental control and monetary policies. It will help some of them, I hope big enough, to migrate from bank systems to Bitcoin, to find decentralization, freedom, full control of their fund, and better asset to store their wealth against inflation and get richer.

One point, Bitcoin mining uses good sustainable, renewable power mix than many industries and than many countries, it's fud if anyone say Bitcoin mining industry is worse than other industries in environmental aspect.

Crypto is not only Bitcoin, bigger than that. Crypto = Bitcoin + altcoins. And you must know that majority of altcoins are not Proof of Work coins.

Bitcoin will bounce back and Bitcoin dips are great opportunities for you to buy dips, get profit later.
With altcoins, dips mostly are traps and you will lose money if you buy altcoin dips, hold altcoins for a while.

Bitcoin was crashing weeks ago mainly due to the German government dropping lots of Bitcoins for sale on the market. But as soon as investors received the information the sales were over, Bitcoin immediately recovered its price again. As we can see right now, it's getting closer to the previous ATH each new day. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to ask why Bitcoin is crashing at this moment. Thankfuly it's already getting better!

Now the expectation is that the tendency remains like this until the next year. Let's hope there aren't any bad news to affect Bitcoin's price negatively from now on. Mt. Gox redistribution was a great fear for many investors, but so far it hasn't been an issue for us.

The data you provided was released on July 10, 2024 and we are now in the last days of July. If you are a serious investor and check the market then you will see that bitcoin and all altcoins are not as bad as they were a few weeks ago.
In addition, the factors you mentioned are not too new, they have been in the market for a long time, but the market has never collapsed just because of these news. The financial market will always fluctuate, you cannot expect a market to only increase continuously without decreasing, the adjustment is only temporary in the short term and is nothing to worry about.

Bitcoin is only a little over 1% down over 24 hours. That's nothing, a tiny correction, and certainly not something justifying 'crypto is crashing' in the title. Ethereum is 7.5% down over the last 7 days, so that's more significant, but that is not the general trend right now. And since the market is not crashing, potential reasons explaining why it's crashing are irrelevant.
Note that the source the op is sharing is from July 10, so it's pretty old, and Bitcoin grew from $58k to over $67k since then. I'm happy some others in the thread are also pointing out that the info is outdated.

What's most likely the reason is macroeconomic related factors. Well, manipulation also has a tendency to be behind this market crash; difficult to actually determine. Whatever the reason is, the market will most likely to recover. We saw how deep its market price fell last year but it still managed to come back with its current market price, close to its ATH. Resistance is getting stronger so I'm expecting for a bigger ATH this bull cycle. Many people are just having high expectations because of halving's occurence this year. However, it we would look back with what happened before or with the previous halving, it took months before recovery happened. Thus, we should just wait patiently and most likely recovery will happen before this year ends.

What's best for now is to accumulate on bargains to get the upperhand before the bull season officially starts. Check as well with other cryptos that are having huge potential to maximize this cycle.
