Is coincitys.cc legit? I was invited to work on this platform.  Does this sound legit and do these opportunities exist?

This is some of the texts I received.

“Interested in new job opportunities? We have remote, flexible side jobs paying $300 to $800. One job involves updating Coinbase data to increase downloads, requiring 60-90 minutes of mobile work daily, If you're over 25y/o.”

“Job Description: Work on your phone every day, simulate real user operations, provide liquidity for the exchange's cryptocurrency, and increase token trading volume and exposure.”

I also received $60 USDT as a sign on bonus on the platform.

Why put this in scam accusations if you are not calling them a scam? This section is for those who have been cheated out of their money and are looking to draw attention and get their case resolved.

As far as the site you mentioned, were you able to wd the $60 USDT or is it just a credit for your account to make trades on and make it look like there is some business on the site? HAve they asked you to deposit? Have you lost any money? Are you the owner opening this fake accusation to try to get people to the site?

You received nothing if it is not sent to your noncustodial wallet. They only credit your account on their platform with number and not money. This will encourage some people to work more until they will realize that they have been scammed.

The site does not even loan in my side. I tried with different countries using VPN as well as with my regular internet connection.

I believe this thread was created to promote this site or they sent the Op those type of messages to try to get him to use the site and probably make deposit - I just created an account there and it turned out to be an exchange, nothing about any remote jobs.

it is most likely a scam, their website was created about a month ago and there is barely any information about them if you search their name on Google, in addition, after you search it on Google the result will show the website in question and then several "scam adviser" websites that give coincitys.cc a low trust rating.

I have to say that I never heard about them before, and they are not on CMC/Coingecko, which is not a good sign at all. Having said that, jobs like that do exist, but I would tread carefully if I were you.

I don't trust those websites that have ".cc" domain, they sound untrustworthy really. As for your $60 USDT, is it appearing on your account and you are able to successfully withdraw it? If you do then congratulations to you but if not, and it's only on your account balance on that platform, I doubt that you'll be able to withdraw that. Possibly they'll throw you some conditions for you to withdraw that bonus like asking you to deposit xx amount so that you'd be allowed to withdraw that. If that is so with this scam technique, don't fall for it. It's a new website and it's hard to trust sites like this whether they'd be an exchange or a tasks jobs provider.

Everything about the messages you received and the website do not seem right!
The main domain (you shared) is not working for me, but I was able to access the platform by adding mobile as a sub-domain.
I don't know how you were able to create an account there as you need to submit an invitation code.
Also, after requesting a verification code, I received it from this email address:

huobitaiwanpro-at-gmail.com

This was all I needed to be 100% sure this can never be a legit service.

Same here the site seems no DNS or not hosted yet or maybe they currently changing their DNS because the error shows when accessing the site is "no DNS records".

Based on whois like others posted above the site is 1 month old any services or businesses that just created recently there's no way to prove they are legit or not unless they can provide legal info.

If the job doesn't require to deposit of any amount why not you can try but it seems the job they offer for you seems it needs to deposit any amount because you need to provide liquidity and increase the token trading volume you can't do anything if you didn't deposit to do this job.

For me, I think it's pretty risky to take this opportunity unless there are no deposit requirements.

No. It is most likely a scam. Besides all the red flags mentioned by others, I recognized the design of the site to be identical to a bunch of other clone sites: coinbitsea(.)com, okrcoinpro(.)com, arrcoin(.)com, chronobeat(.)trade, cooinnes(.)com and many others. These are all fake exchanges and scams.  

As for that $60 sign-up "bonus", that's just a fake balance to lure you in. They will never let you withdraw that money to your wallet.

Site is not secured also the domain name itself looks like very shady to me so its no to me especially that there's lots of questionable thing on the site. Also you didn't get something from them since the bonus still on the platform and that means they still own that funds.

So maybe find another job since its like you will not get anything from there. Also its like most likely you will just help those scammers if you can provide those things what they ask from you.

Also good that you are vigilant and try to asked information about that site and hopefully you get some good insights about your what you have been asked in this community.

I actually had somebody from the WhatsApp group of about 300 members reach out and say my phone # was one of the few genuine numbers and the rest were bots.
They asked to withdraw their money but were told they have to first deposit $200.

Anybody or anything that is not genuine or legit and requires you to make deposit before you could withdraw is a big scam. The way and manner at which they contacted you from the telegram group should make you know already who they are and what they are after.

At first they make you feel they are genuine and try to convince you by brain washing you to think that they truly have funds to claim and they tell you that they need money so they could withdraw promising you a bigger percentage of share if you help them. All are lies, terrible lies, they are Scammers and nice you immediately brought the discussion here for us to look into you.

Haven discovered that, I believe your questions have been answered and at this juncture I would advise you lock this thread.
