I think it would be better we separate trading when talking about bitcoin investment, it's likely of an adventure than just an investment and moreover, when you are trading bitcoin, you are not hedging against inflation, you are purely interested in taking advantage of the market condition.

If there's any work that requires one to be constantly supervising their computer screen, it should be trading and not office work. You need to pay close attention to your trade position while you are also checking updates to know if there's any information that would influence the market. Your argument would have been valid if you maintain your discussion on holding bitcoin as an investment but including trading void your point. Yes, this is definitely a plus, but I am sure that all investors constantly check the price of the asset they invested in. And I think that the larger the amount of invested funds, the more often the investor thinks about these savings.

You are right because I realized that in as much as holders doesn't require checking or monitoring there Bitcoin investment regularly but there are still people who never take off there eyes from there accumulated Bitcoin in a weekly basis, so just like you observed people would always want to see how there investment is doing whether appreciating or not, however monitoring of investment are mostly done by beginners because in most cases they derive joy or motivation from watching their amount of accumulated Bitcoin, meanwhile there are also people who doesn't like watching there accumulated Bitcoin because we have different kinds of investors and some can easily get emotional or discouraged when they are not seeing what they expected, just like what happened during the time Bitcoin was struggling within $55k and so many people that bought during the time it was $70k begins to feel discouraged.

FYI, Bitcoin is not a job so comparing it with Jobs to make money is like comparing apple with Oranges.

The biggest misunderstanding in Bitcoin is "hedge against inflation" - It's not.
It's a highly speculative asset that can go down by 50-70% in one day and stay there for a decade, can you wait that long ? not many can and you don't have any guarantee it will go to the same levels or higher aside from historical patterns.

I can't agree with that. Besides full-time job, there are many other ways to earn money, and quite regularly. Take trading, for example. If you do it well, you can earn not only as much, but also much more than a full-time job. This is especially true for countries with poor, collapsing economies. Then you can invest, not necessarily only in Bitcoin. There are many options for short-term and medium-term investments, the profit from which you can live on and reinvest the investment body.

Investing in Bitcoin is just the same as someone invests on stocks. You get a share and you do nothing and wait until that stock and shares of yours go up in value. But it's more catchy of course because I am in Bitcoin and I've chosen this as in my experience, it's better than of those stocks. If I've got more money to invest, I'd spread my money into a lot of tech stocks and more with Bitcoin. And you know what makes a Bitcoin investor as is? It's because that we keep on checking the prices and this is how volatility does to all of us. We're all concerned of day to day pricing of it although we don't have the intention to sell as of the moment.
