Personally, the excitement is less today. I was younger when I discovered it, in the middle of the size wars and beating aths after a short while. Perhaps today, apart from the fact that I know bitcoin better, I know that it is not going to make me rich overnight, as it has not, but it has helped me a lot to improve my finances, my wealth, albeit slowly. And I see the future in the same way. Surely it will be adopted much more and the price will continue to grow, just as I will gradually be better and better financially and although I like that, it is not like the excitement of someone who wins the lottery or who believes in 2017 that bitcoin will radically change his life in a few years.

Trump has expressed his true love for bitcoin and every bitcoin enthusiasts will be glad that a personality like Trump have accepted this currency and also hailed the importance of it. Nevertheless, a politicians word can’t be taken that serious unless it’s accompanied by actions.

I still feel bitcoin is still in its early stage despite how far it most have come from inception. The reason been that, the enthusiasm I have for it is not fading anytime soon with all my life thinking how bitcoin will continue to rise to make a change in the financial realm of the world. Whenever I hear of the name bitcoin, I can only imagine how far what I’ve gain from knowing and utilising this form of financial independence in this age. It still creates a lot of excitement in me and doesn’t look like what will fade away now.

Do you think this technology has still room for growth or is it not going to increase adoption, improve, become more popular? Will people just stop mining it because it's boring? Will they stop investing in it?
If people dropped boring investments, nobody would buy gold after hundreds of years of trading it. Nobody would buy government bonds because they're boring as fuck and barely get you a profit when you count inflation.
I'm no longer excited by bitcoin after many years in the space. It's a part of my life now.

The adoption of blockchain technology has not been so massive, the adoption of bitcoin has not been so massive either, so this has not yet reached the peak that you might mean in the excitement with bitcoin.

So bitcoin will always give joy to its holders. that's what I believe, bitcoin also hasn't reached $100k to $1 million, it's not impossible to achieve by bitcoin in the next few years, right?
Everything that is happening now is just the beginning and we will enter a new era where the government puts bitcoin into the country's pocket for long-term investment, and you must also have seen that only a few have just started accumulating bitcoin.

This is actually a great question and one that I wish I could answer the opposite way that I'm going to.  A lof of the excitement of/for bitcoin for me, has died down a bit of late.  I found bitcoin over a decade ago now, and progress in many ways has been a lot slower than anticipated.  Sure I'm still excited about bitcoin, what it offers and where it's headed, but I don't get the same level of excitement that I use to get years back.  I just hope that certain things start to correct themselves (like transaction speeds, for ex.).

We are just getting started and the excitement is still fresh as ever, historically Bitcoin has shown a tremendous increase in value and wider spread adoption vividly seen just as a golden fish doesn't have a hidden place Bitcoin is right open to the world to see it usefulness and glory it has brought to mankind, Bitcoin is the best digital asset and at most I usually feel bad for not getting to know or to have seen the potential that Bitcoin holds earlier before now. But however, the good news is that I now know what I  didn't know before so am still super excited about Bitcoin .

Bitcoin was very exciting when I was first introduced to it because the benefits were something that I had always searched for. I imagine that it will feel the same way for someone who just finds out about it or who has just been introduced to it because it is something new to them and may offer opportunities that they have been searching for. To people like us who already know about Bitcoin, we may not be excited so much about it even when we hear prominent individuals or other people talk about it.

What do you mean? Bitcoin hasn't reached $100K, $70K is nothing since the ATH was more than that.

Most people are waiting Bitcoin to reach $100K and I think it's a realistic number, unlike the last few years that people predict Bitcoin price will reach $500K in 2024-2025.

I'm still excited with Bitcoin, but $100K is still "low" IMO, the potential is really high, so I think I will not sell my coins even Bitcoin price crossed $100K.

There's actually more a lot to bitcoin that we should be excited of. Not just about its price skyrocketing, but also the future global adoption that we have been waiting for, finally we can use bitcoin at its utmost advantage in our daily life's activity as a mode of payment with its highest convenience. So this means, we are still in the process of helping bitcoin achieve its goals, and this makes me excited a lot.

Getting attention by writing these type of topics, so that people would see your name and check your website isn't a smart move. You know very well that it's nowhere near the peak, you know very well that we are not even at half, and a million per bitcoin isn't even that weird, it could definitely happen one day, sure not soon but one day.

So, making this topic is just to make some discussions and chat, nothing more and that's fine but when it comes from an "official" username, from a website, it makes me question why that person may have done it, like use that account like a regular person would, instead of like a company account.

You could always have a personal account AND a business account at the same time, talk about these on your personal account, and could have business stuff with your business account. But no, you prefer that you would have something like this, to get attention to your website, even if that wasn't your ambition, even if you didn't mean it like that and it just happened by accident, you did it. So, I would suggest that you have yourself another account, it is not against the rules, theymos said it himself, so if you really want to, that would be better for your business.

Big people mentioning it is like what, only the middle really. Heck, could be lower since it could just be for attention and nothing more. It being accepted as legal tender across the entire globe would be what I would describe as the pinnacle to be at the very least.

Price-wise, most people are expecting WAY more than where we are right now. Heck at the minimum a lot of people are expecting $100k already, what more for others who expect above that. I'd reckon at some point halvings wouldn't have the same effect that it has in the past but god knows when that is.

I'm both excited and realistic about the future of Bitcoin. I'm sure that there will be bull run in 2025 and there are more profits to be made, but at the same time, I realize that Bitcoin's potential isn't unlimited and Bitcoin will hit the absolute peak at some point(the peak might be followed by a steady decline). There's always the possibility of BTC being dethroned by a better cryptocurrency. The Bitcoin maximalists should never become overconfident about the future of BTC.
The overall excitement about Bitcoin isn't static. The level of excitement does up in times of bull runs and FOMO phases and it gets replaced with discouragement in times of price drops and bear markers.

All of us are excited until what price does the Bitcoin can reach this upcoming bull run and I've seen a lot of people discuss and created a thread that they want to make holding until the next all time high which is the same with me. Now the thing is until when you are capable to hold your assets?. As of now Bitcoin drop with the 58k and try to survive again with the 68k and we are still hoping that we break the 70k target price range now because of too much volatility people get bored with this so they get ride with the price action so they make trades just to earn profit while holding at the same time.

I guess next year the price of the Bitcoin possible will soar high until 80-100k if this happens holders wins good gains.

If bitcoin no longer excites us, why are politicians in the United States paying attention to it and even considering it as part of their race for the White House? With world leaders and governments starting to pay attention to bitcoin, it means it is generating more excitement than ever as governments want to get their hands on it too. So it would be foolish to think that bitcoin has reached its limit or is no longer attractive.

Even though bitcoin has been around for 15 years, but bitcoin ETFs have only been approved in the past few months, so it can be said that to the world, it is still something very new and more attractive than we think.

Not to mention, many experts predict and believe that bitcoin can reach 1 million USD, even 13 million USD per bitcoin (prediction by Michael Saylor). It can be seen that people are still very optimistic about the future of bitcoin, so it cannot be said that it is saturated and no longer attractive.

Even in the past where I saw Bitcoin reaching $10,000 or $20,000 and beyond, I didn't feel any excitement about it.
Call me emotionless, but I don't see any excitement towards all of the other asset in general.

I mean what's exciting about Bitcoin? Trump promoting it? Bitcoin reaching $100,000? Probably this will be the most exciting thing that will happen soon. You will feel the excitement about Bitcoin reaching 6-digit in price for the first time - but that feeling will only last for about a minute or two and after that, it will just disappear like nothing happened. I've seen lots of events that happened with Bitcoin, but I didn't felt any excitement on those.

Maybe the excitement will rise again when the bull run officially starts, but... I don't know why I'm not excited about it.

No, Bitcoin is still something that many people are excited and happy to see except for those who are still new to Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin has not yet reached its peak now so we all might witness more new peaks in the future and I pray that I will still see more of those new peaks in the future because Bitcoin will never die and end, especially when important people like Donald Trump have spoken about the importance of crypto and Bitcoin in public. So I think everyone who is already familiar with Bitcoin must still be quite excited to mine and earn Bitcoin in the ways that they have been doing so far because Bitcoin is still a very alive asset right now.

I am still excited about bitcoin and bitcoin is not beyond that Pinacle where we are no longer excited about it. As a matter of fact this is still the early days of bitcoin. Though there where alot of speculation going on that by now bitcoin should have superseded the $100k range but as the case may be it is still lingering around $70k and $64k- $54k ups and downs movement, but that doesn't mean that bitcoin will remain like that forever. With time bitcoin will supersede even $500k so I'm still excited about bitcoin because greater days ahead.
