Lost all my selected matches after refreshing page

I never wanted to post this here but it's very annoying to sit for 6 hrs doing analysis on games precisely on a Club Friendly Games on stake.com and along the line still doing analysis and pick the best market for games i lost my network and decided to check on my network signal i noticed was almost out of data, and i need to go get my data top up. when i came back online i noticed my page wasn't active and i needed to get back clear on the page to continue my predictions, i tried i couldn't so i had to refresh my page as usual the way i do gamble with a local gambling site without knowing if i refresh my page i will have to lose my entire selected matches to bet.

Looking at the time I have spent doing my analysis on the market to pick to play on each matches because this is like a form of complain to see if stake.com can improve on their site because it would be bad spending about 5-6 hrs doing predictions and all of the sudden you lose the whole game simply because one lost internet access or mistakenly refreshed their page.

I never spent this long doing predictions on a particular site but it's annoying to see i would have to start all over again to pick my market and favorable options to bets on, most times can barely picked back the exact market reason being that; i am already exhausted and can't have the patient to keep seating to select those options, 2. I may want to give my attention to other things and not only sitting the whole day doing a particular thing, 3. the appetite is lost so I might not get the right market options and who knows if i could win because i am already weird.

Have gambled in particular site refreshed my page also logout and login back, all my selected matches were the same till i input the exact amount I want to gamble and then submitted, i don't know why a reputed gambling site like stake.com can't have these feature where even though someone refreshed his page he won't lose his selected matches, please stake improve and I wouldn't want to experience this again.

This would be annoying. But it is better you contact their customers care instead and tell them about it. I have not noticed this before on all the betting sites that I have used. But since 5 years ago, I only bet on 1 or 2 matches which might not let me know if some sites are like that. I tried it on stake now. I refreshed the page and all I saw was that my betting slip is empty after I selected a match already which was previously included there.

Why not when you're doing your analysis write down your selections, then go on the site and put in your selections? Then you at least have a record of what you were/are going to wager on and wouldn't have to redo the research.

I'm sure it sucked to have to start all over, but if you try it my way you will not lose anything except a little extra time writing.

I believe this matter on the gambling platform you are using like they are not yet really supports the saving of your selected matches even after refreshing or closing the page, more on the technical side.

As a developer myself, having this kind of feature on a gambling site will make your user interface and experience take advantage of other competitors in the market.

I've also lost mine several times before on Stake because I usually watch their stream while adding bets under the betslip tab and I frequently have to refresh as the stream tends to crash often.

It was a bit frustrating to repeat it all over again the first few times, then I got used to it by now and I always remember my bets or sometimes screenshot them since it only takes two key press.

He is referring to Stake.com. But Stake.com is a good gambling site. I see this just as what that can be reported to their customers care so that they can modify the code to the one that can make the betting slip not to be wiped out after refresh.

Okay thanks for the observation as well, this is what I am saying if you look after you mistakenly or maybe you didn't recall and refreshed your page you have to lose all selected matches if not wager them already.

Thank you, I will definitely do that next time just that it's time consuming to keep scrolling ones system at a time keep jutting down matches and the selected market. Just that I am already used with a local gambling site often use even though someone picked a game in the site and make his bet slip without staking them it would stay for as longer as you didn't deselect or cancel those matches what would is that if those games already running or is over what you would see is that they will say "matches expired" meaning you can't wager on those particular games until you deselect them to select new matches to play.

Is not something to avoid sir, just all I asked is for improvement. Stake.com is already a reputed gambling site which I would encourage people to use provided they have passed their kyc because most people often find it very hard to pass kyc due to their requirements. Initially I wouldn't have brought this up but I feels stake.com is reputable site and they should improve to implement that feature where even though someone select matches without staking it would remain the same way even though once page is refreshed he wouldn't lose any select matches.

We will lost all of our money if we can not control ourselves in gambling so that is why we must really aware and have a power to control it no matter if casino still tempts us by giving more offers. No, I wasn't able to experience this as I have a post paid internet account. However, if you talk about internet going down when you were in the height of playing games, then yes, like this one here.

So I know the feeling and it really sucks to have your bet and doing analysis for hours and suddenly you were out of internet connection and when you refresh, everything is gone and you are back to 0. But you feel really dishearten that you don't want to go back again and repeat the process.

As yahoo mentioned, the mistake here was to work directly on the casino, you should write your selections on a text file or a Google sheet, that way if you close the page you will not have to start again from zero. Take this as a lesson, learn from the mistake, and develop a better working process.

It would be nice if stake or any casino save the selections in case someone refresh the page, that would be a nice feature too, maybe you can write them a email with the idea.

Who knows why this isn’t saved on the site. Maybe someone had the opposite issue where they refreshed and then were upset they included previous selections in their bet. Who knows? It may be the result of trying to defend against potential site vulnerabilities, or maybe your browser doesn’t play with stake well.

It is hasn't happened to me before and I hope it doesn't because of it did, I will be very angry with myself that I wasted my time and effort reading your experience without learning anything from it. And as for lessons learned, I'll henceforth use my note app on my phone to put my selections first before then putting it on the website.

You weren't paying attention when reading. The only thing the OP may have lost was the energy he needed to create the analysis. OP, you should take a breath and listen to your intuition; maybe you shouldn't have played that day. On the other hand, isn't it profitable for the casino to create pages that don't save the cache when refreshed? Maybe this is one of the tricks so the player makes a mistake and doesn't win. Does no one think about it? Just be smarter; write everything down in advance.

Every site I play on stores your bet slip with the selected matches and predictions even if you refresh or log out and back in. One or two at some time has failed to do this even though they normally do, so first we have to know if Stake does not have the feature at all, which will be terrible or if this was a case of a technical glitch that can or has been fixed, which is not so bad.

I will create an account to test and see the results.Created an account, placed bets and refreshed, lost my bet-slip when the page reloaded. Tried it a couple of time with the same result, this is an issue Stake needs to have fixed.

Some people will only read the title of a thread and not read what the OP first posted.  I was eager to read how OP lost money on Stake.com but after I read the topic content, I understood that he is not talking about money but the time he used analysis his to select some matches but only to refresh the oyage to see emptied bet slip wihich can be very annoying. I hope Stake will fix this. It is a good gambling site.

From preceding comments it's notable that some users have had the experience which I am in doubt that it wasn't frustrating to have to start all over again and when you have many selected market options before it got cleared off, the tendency is that you might not have to recall it all exact while going about it all over again.   

Users convenience is what all online gambling  companies strive to achieve and for Stakes not to have such features yet in their services it suggests they haven't just given it some considerable attention, at this juncture is pertinent they work on it. They areone of those dominant gambling companies in and outside this forum I know of, and they for sure enjoys a very large reputation and if other gambling sites have such feature then stakes shouldn't hesitate applying it to theirs too.

Different websites uses different templates and this can be fixed by stake cause it's really annoying when someone has to redo everything just for a single refresh and this is very common mistake we do especially with our mobile devices. I hope Stake will look into this and try to fix if it's possible but as a user you may have to know which team you're going to bet so incase similar events you don't need to worry about it will just take less than two minutes to select a lot of matches.

This is surely frustrating as I have also experienced the same thing. You can either mail them your suggestion or you can join the forum of Stake.com and maybe ask the community managers to forward what you experienced and then maybe they can work something out.

I think this will be a good feature if our selected bets won't vanish if ever we refresh the page accidentally or we lose our internet connection which could happen a lot of times. It's not like we can memorize them all so we need the help of the website memory to keep what we have done so that we won't start from scratch.
