The prices in the world show's exacly that people are very rich.
If nobody can't afford paying those prices then prices will fall If prices are so high it means people can afford.

Wealth is not equally distributed in the society, and as there are persons who can afford the expensive things these days, there are others to whom their standard of living is massively reducing. There is the rich, the middle class and the poor. The rich are able to keep up with the increasing price of things, although they are still threatened by the worsening economy. The middle class are the majority of people who you see mostly, and they are struggling to really afford all these bills that are becoming more expensive, and they are collecting loans to meet up. They are being affected by the harsh economy. The poor have already been affected.

If the prices of things continue to increase, and the economy continue to toughen up, the number of persons who will be able to afford expensive things will be reducing.

Having money we can order others easily but when we don't have money any advice we give will never be listened to by others. This phenomenon occurs in villages and rich people will always be advisors for problems even though sometimes they are not much better than people who don't have money. Regarding buying expensive and luxurious goods, it really depends on each individual who has money and sometimes they don't buy because they think it will be wasteful so that the money they have is not productive. Some other people see opportunities when buying expensive goods that have good selling value as one of the items that are hunted.

The level of efficiency depends on opportunities and why rich people can double their money because they understand how. For example, you buy an antique motorbike and if its value increases it will be a fairly promising asset because the product is rare on the market. Living in this world requires clever management, especially regarding the level of productivity to make money.

However, sometimes a low-income country can have high prices, even though people don't have sufficient purchasing power to justify those prices. It can be a result of an inflation spike and the salaries not getting adjusted to it, or because of some sort of crisis leading to supply chain issues. If enough people can purchase something because they truly need it (even if the cost is very high for them), the prices can remain at that level, unless regulations are imposed or measures are introduced to adjust salaries.

I'm very critical in this matter and stopped buying some things, or buy less, but although people complaints, many haven't changed their lifestyle. Specially the younger generations: they prefer to keep their debt alive forever but own a good car, spend in expensive holidays,  consume brands, etc.

Same here, I partially agree with OP, if everything was too expensive and unaffordable, people would rebel, take to the streets, and show their dissatisfaction. But that is not happening, the shops are full, and the streets are full of cars even though fuel is more expensive than ever. Rents are also breaking records, and despite all that, people are going on vacations and spending more money than ever on overpriced hotels and restaurants.

I don't see prices going down, people are already used to all the price increases (or so it seems), and I expect prices to jump again at some point rather than fall. And is there an end to the rise in prices? Maybe if a lot of people rebel, but that will hardly happen either...

Thats true. People affording things with high price doesn't not mean they just feel like to spend money but the truth is thst their is no other option neither to just spend money because these are things that you can't do without. The price of things are increasing steadily and people don't have to fold their hands not to buy the basic thing they want. Their is no time inflation has stopped people not to spend money on thongs they want just because the price is expensive. As far as their is money, no matter how small it is it will be spent in purchasing what people want, inflation won't stop people from not spending their money.

Everyone has their own market when we talk about needs, it also adjusts in the end considering that we live where even though our nature is the same as humans, we are distinguished by economic strata or in rough language, caste where we are in the low range, mid range and high range. It cannot be denied and it is not wrong to say that not everyone gets the same thing and thinks they don't have money because when we are in the low range we definitely expect to be in the mid range and when we are in the mid range we definitely want to be in the high class because everyone has that kind of thinking.

To pay the price is also the same concept because they adjust to the caste so it is impossible when someone who is in the middle economic level or that tries to buy goods whose prices do not match their capacity because it is not possible for them. and it does not mean that branded goods will immediately lower their prices because they have their own market, namely rich people, so it cannot be equated that everyone is rich just because they are based on price because after all everyone has their own price and for the market it only adjusts to the target they are aiming for.

Don't be too naive because even though we have money we will not be considered rich when faced with people who are indeed in terms of status and wealth far more than us.

Having money alone is not enough to be called someone rich because in the end it is not just about money but about how each person views it and how we utilize the potential of the money we have.
It is undeniable that money will be one of the benchmarks to be said to be someone rich but we must also remember that in the end the standard of being rich must also be seen from several other aspects as I said because having money without being able to maximize the power of money will actually make us considered stupid and exploited so that in this case being rich is also not as easy as thought especially in this case the recognition of many people about the concept of being rich is also different so don't interpret that being rich is only because we have money because even though that is true but other supporting factors are always taken into account to be said to be someone rich.

I think we can't do anything as to how the increase of prices are surging high these days, either we buy it and continue to live or won't be buying at all and see yourself starve to death. We are left no choice but to buy them regardless of the price.

However, we can chose to live a simple life over a luxurious one. Yes, we all have money and if we are good in managing our finances, and prioritize only our needs over our wants, I think we won't hear anymore complaining that they have run out of money and it sucks them seeing the prices continue to increase.

The high prices for sure don't dictates if the world is rich or everybody is rich, Inflation on the other hand measures how quickly the prices of goods and services are rising and those with tangible assets, like property or stocked commodities, may likely to see some inflation as that raises the value of their assets. However, the demand for goods and services signifies the consumer's need, willingness, labour, ang also the ability to buy a certain product or particular needs. Supply then refers to the production capacity of distributor and also manufacturers, may I add entrepreneurs for contributing a major cause in economic system.

The world is always rich if were about to talk to natural resources and such, but not everyone is rich. If you look closer to remote areas or countries with bad governance, corrupts countries to be on point. Those who's residing in a country like that most likely to state that they don't have money, plus before the new normal, global poverty reduction project was dealt a severe blow by the COVID-19 pandemic as all countries focus on the pandemic, causing three years of lost progress. Climate change is also hindering poverty reduction and a major threat to lives and livelihood of most vulnerable to climate-related risk

While life is very random some have the advantage for the new normal but there are some that dont.

Indeed, prices are always going up and in my country also the prices of food items, house rental costs, transportation costs and so on always continue to rise, but yes, it looks really funny, because even though the prices continue to rise, many people still buy them. 

Moreover, if you look at vehicles, of course more and more people are buying new vehicles and sometimes I personally always think is everyone rich now? But if you investigate further, of course there are poor people, there are also rich people. but what is clear is that the costs and high prices also in my opinion will not be a problem because of course even though the price is rising high, of course the value of the money is not high because of inflation, so even if the price rises, people will definitely buy it because it is a necessity of life and also employee salaries and so on. continues to rise because of inflation, so of course life continues to run stably, so expensive goods and expensive costs can also be achieved.

Idk, ever heard of debts? lol. Most people you see that are able to buy cars, houses, etc probably bought them under a loan or something, which is usually what most people do. The difference is with the higher costs of literally everything else, this would mean paying it back would take a LOT longer. It's probably the same thing for other types, just a difference in scale depending on their own monthly income as well.

And that's for people who're around the middle level in terms of income. Imagine the difficulties of low-income people, and even more so about people living in poverty. You probably should try living in a third world country then try to say that the world is rich again. You'd probably call bs on your own words right there and then.

There's nothing surprising here thou. Price of things keep going up on a daily basis but people still afford to buy them but that doesn't mean everybody is rich as Op was trying to portray in his post. The truth is that no matter how expensive things are, some few individuals can afford it and no matter how cheap it is some other few people can still not afford it. The world is such in balance!

The reality is only few categories of people can afford these expensive things comfortably. By observation, one would discovered that in a group of ten only two to three can afford or live expensive lifestyle while the remaining eight or seven manage to live average lifestyle. I will also agree with Op that the world is rich but not everybody is rich.

You can not say that people are very rich just because the prices of things are high and they are still purchasing it, they are just trying their best and find a way to survive, a lot of people now can't not afford everything they need, because of the current situation we are living in now, but still they work very hard to put food on the table, no matter how cost a price of a commodity is, you can ignore some that are not important to you, but can you ignore food? you don't want to spend the little money you have to feed because things are cost, remember that you can't eat money.

What OP  is saying now is beyond my imagination, people are suffering now honestly, alot of people are dieing because of hunger, and inflation is effecting our economy day by day, some people have a lot of responsibilities on their head like paying rent, fees, clothing and feeding, you can see that this things are important that you have to provide no matter the circumstances.

Commodity prices have increased many times compared to many years ago and the fact that people can still afford to buy does not mean they are very rich but simply because people are trying to survive. Furthermore, you also need to take into account inflation as well as the amount of money the government prints every day and you will see that people are not rich. Commodities increase in price and people spend large sums of money to buy them, not because everybody is becoming rich but because money is losing value.

I think commodities are like an asset. They are not really the necessities in life and budget people do not usually add them on their spending/expense list. Not only commodities but almost all things in this world have indeed increased in value and that is due to inflation. We don't control this or the prices rather, so them rising, doesn't mean that everybody is now rich.

We are still thankful though that governments and us can sometimes find a way to at least lessen the burden that we feel on this issue. This is the reason why we still can afford the basic necessities in life. Inflation can be a product of too much printing of money but some individuals can see this as a positive thing and they will think that a country who does this are rich. This is sad.

Rich people actually do not like to show off their wealth, they prefer to live simply, those who like to show off their wealth are those in the lower middle class. So to see someone rich and poor actually should not be seen from what items he uses or see his appearance.

I remember reading some random news about Justin Bieber's outfit: a 10$ t-shirt, old trousers with holes, and slippers. The moral was that some people who are extremely rich don't give a f*** on what others think.

On the contrary, I have a few African friends in my country who are immigrants and find it difficult to find a job and make ends meet, but wear expensive trainers, official sports clothes and cups with holograms, to show off their apparent wealth, as you said (they're beautiful people, don't take me wrong, but it's really striking).

Overtime, people have learnt how to cut cost in other to manage themselves and the ever increasing inflation with little or no sign of getting better. Sometimes you begin to wonder what’s the role of the IMF in all these. Are they really helping or constitute to most of the problem since, many of the nation’s revenue virtually ends up with them in settlement of debt.

It’s hardly the new normal but, simply surviving.
It’s a human nature, to try and survive but, we still find the poor in our society not doing fine. That’s why you have shelters and panhandlers around the streets. It’s really hard for some but, you’ve got to keep trying.

the price level reaches its highest and causes them difficulty in buying it, even so they still buy according to their needs, it does not mean they are rich but to survive, in an unfavorable situation and the value of money is decreasing, I think the inflation rate is rising faster than the predictions set, and it is very shocking for consumers who do not expect to pay higher, various products and services are indeed inflation as a general price increase trend, and it is difficult to return to the original price.

Are you sure rich people don't like to brag? I do not agree with this statement. Have you seen any rich people living in poor slums? Or do they live in expensive mansions with servants? Have you seen any rich people eating street food? Or do they eat at a 5-star restaurant? They travel to expensive resorts, go on yachts, drive super cars, wear limited edition clothes...they are showing off but they are showing off but in a way that they enjoy.

Our world is full of colors and we need to interact with them to know and understand them clearly and not equate them with each other. Rich people also have bad people and good people. Similarly, poor people are also good and humble people, not everyone is bad or likes to brag.

True that prices of everything keep rising but still doesn't make it true or realistic to say it's everyone that is able to afford it thereby generalizing everyone to be rich in this regard. In my country the cost of foodstuffs keep topping price each day which has made many people who can't afford it to revert to other unappealing alternatives, for example, for those  who can't afford some fresh tomatoes for stew have now turned on using garden-eggs to prepare their stew, I can go on and on... Like people are going innovative with different means to survive and when I see or hear about it I can't help but weep inside.

Even under the category of the younger generations same conditions applies as not them all have the means to love a luxurious stupendous lifestyle. But however, there are those that are rich among the young generations that still spend wisely on things needed than those for luxury.

Inflation is bitting harder and harder and it's as though the economic policies of the world ain't working anymore or perhaps they're obsolete to current challenges. I don't know what to say  really confused thinking in that direction.
