Some believe the US already did a secret deal with China over Taiwan. If so it means it won't be a hue global issue and therefore less impactful on price. It could just be pure speculation though!

War affects all countries. Taiwan has been living under the threat of China since a long time now. But I don't see a possibility of a direct war between China and Taiwan. Because United States and its allies are constantly monitoring the situation and they will jump in if they see any opportunity to bring China down. So it's highly unlikely to see a direct war.

I do hold Nvidia share but not directly. I hold it through a mutual fund which taken a good exposure on Nvidia. But honestly I don't see a reason to worry.

TSM is moving as fast as possible of course to build fabrication plants in the US and other countries as well. Nvidia and their customer were fully aware of the China's threat to invade Taiwan. For sure they have contingency plans for these kinds of situations.

If ever China did attack Taiwan, they mostly need manufacturing plant such as TSM to still standing or at least remains functional, it definitely takes years to rebuilt, and other related infrastructure. Destroying it can make Taiwan less in terms of financial move. Politically speaking if China invades Taiwan, manufacturers like TSM somewhat keep their business running and uninterrupted, and that would depend on the US government on allowing them to engage in trade with Chinese.
Let's keep in mind that if China makes a move on Taiwan, it could kick off WWIII with residing countries in ASIA, if this happen the pricing for NVIDIA won't be our bigger concerns.

NVIDIA stock prices dropped mostly because Trump promises a new tariff war against China(and a potential tariff war with the EU), so this would badly affect the global demand for microchips. I don't think that the rumors of China invading Taiwan were the main reason behind NVIDIA stock price drop. The Chinese aren't that stupid. They know that invading Taiwan would cause a chain of global sanctions against China, which would slow down the Chinese economic growth even further. An annual GDP growth of less than 4% would be very bad for a country with big debts and stagnated real estate sector like China.
