That's wrong thinking, Bitcoin has always been for everyone, even if the price hit $1 million, it was never labeled as a coin for specific people, There's no difference if you bought $100 worth of Bitcoin 7 years ago and bought it for the same price this year. You will still get a profit because of Bitcoin's unique potential in the market.

You can still find Bitcoin faucets and you can still buy even $10 worth of Bitcoin, Solana is good but it should not be compared to Bitcoin they are both worthy to be added on one's portfolio.

First things first, the poor can't get into cryptocurrencies be it Bitcoin or Solana, so none of the cryptocurrencies you mentioned or available in the market are for the poor since they can't buy them or even have access to them due to unavailability of necessary resources.

That being said, those who have money that is more than $10 can buy Bitcoin as well as Solana, so I don't see any reason why you would say that because Bitcoin is expensive, it's for the rich. One doesn't need to buy a whole Bitcoin if they want to hold some, you can start with as low as $10, or maybe less if an exchange allows you to make a swap that has a value less than $10, I said $10 because it's the standard price limit for most centralized exchanges.

You thought wrong, Bitcoin is for everyone. Everyone has the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin. Now you may think that bitcoin price is too high now you don't have to buy 1 bitcoin all at once you can buy bitcoin for $10-$20 if you want. Now you can invest in DCA method for long term which will gradually increase your investment amount.

While I would say you are right that there is nothing stopping anyone from making that comparison, there is also nothing that stops anyone to mock anyone who make that comparison. If we are going to talk about free speech or free thoughts, then if someone has the right to say "sol is for everyone and bitcoin is for rich people only" based on just the price, then I am sorry but people have the right to say "this dude has absolutely no idea how crypto works, or he is just trolling" and we also can't stop that neither.

The idea isn't "if sol is better than btc", that's preference and I would get that, the idea is "bitcoin is for rich people", meaning that he seriously thinks sol is cheap and bitcoin is high priced so only rich can buy it, as if he doesn't understand we can buy 10 dollars worth of bitcoin too, that's the ignorant part that will be mocked.

I think it's wrong to compare BTC with Solana as they don't try to do the same thing.  A better comparison would be Ethereum and Solana.  With that argument, I def agree.  Ethereum is too expensive to use for tokens swaps, trading NFTs and other stuff you do with the L1.  There are L2's but know that there are risks and it doesn't give the same guarantees as the L1.

Now Solana.  The problem with it is most users are mostly into EVM compatible projects and the other EVM compatible chains aren't really compatible byte for byte.  But there's one project that aims to fix this problem...  Monad.

I disagree with your opinion because btc is not only for rich people who can afford to buy little btc but bitcoin investment is open. BTC can be bought by any kind of people (low income) but if they have little money they will get less amount but it doesn't mean they can't invest. A very rich person may have a lot of money to buy one or more bitcoins and invest but that doesn't mean you can't invest. Yes Solana coin is a good investment coin if you want you can invest in this coin but only because you have less money you will invest only by buying Solana coin it is not right to do it. Always remember not to put all eggs in one basket, always use more than one basket to store eggs.

If solana was still cheap, I'd buy it but I won't buy it anymore. I have seen how it went from low last year to going back to its former ATH and so close to it and I can say that it's doing well for now. But BTC is for the rich? Don't say that because it is for everybody and this is the currency and asset of every person, rich, middle class, poor or someone who just wants to speculate and yes that's also for them. There's no need for someone to be an expert on these and have various choices, if they can't have a choice, BTC is the go-to for every investor that can't still find themselves investing to crypto and also when you hear people talk about crypto, the first thing they can think of is Bitcoin.

I don't think you understand how crypto works.  You can't look at the price per coin because supply has all to do with how much coins are.  Crypto is divisible for that very reason.  Owning less bitcoin in fact is the same as owning more Solana.  It's future outlook for projects you shoukd worry about not price as of today.

if there's anything that could be used to determine whether a coin is for rich or poor it'd be the fee imposed on the blockchain like ETH back then where it requires $200 just to mint NFT or to swap coin.
since cryptocurrencies can be bought in decimal amount, using the price to determine whether it's good investment for the rich or the poor isn't really the right thing.

Just don't create any confusion and divide people towards believing on something crooked reasons. Anyone could buy bitcoin at whatever figures they like the same with SOL people could also buy how much they want. The only difference about this is the volume they can accumulate but its still the same. If you mean Solana is profitable then I guess that depends on how the market or demands dictate, but bitcoin is surely more better since this is more adapted and always gaining good attention to a lot of investor.

I think everyone has the right to get and invest in crypto currency, be it bitcoin or other crypto, including solana, and I think it's just a matter of the investor's wishes, especially since there is no rule prohibiting buying bitcoin in a certain amount, and we are free to buy bitcoin and solana in any amount, no matter how small or large.
