Actually in this world full of uncertainty, nothing in this crypto space also is that certain, but on the price of Bitcoin and what am expecting from it this month, yea, am quite positive that it can break the 70k resistance in this month of August, because right now, it has retrace to 64k plus, and it's at an area of confluence, a very strong one at that, which I believe that it's very much unlikely that the support will break, but if it's does, the next strong support is at 61k plus, though nothing is impossible in the market, but I really don't think that people will dump their Bitcoin that much for it to break blow these two major support, so in my own opinion, Bitcoin breaking the 61k support and going below further is a complete no too me, it's very much unlikely.

Lastly, why I believe that it's more likely for Bitcoin to break the 70k resistance than going below 60k support is that, if you look at the Bitcoin price chart on a daily timeframe, you will observe that it's still on an uptrend, what the price is just doing right now is a pullback, so I believe that the uptrend will continue, it's just a matter of time.

Nothing can be said for sure, but almost everyone is expecting 70K + by August. And it has many possibilities. Bitcoin reached $69,900+ just 2 days ago, Bitcoin did not cross 70k due to little not growth, so we can definitely expect Bitcoin to cross 70k this month. Now we just have to wait for one more pump, hopefully the next pump will see Bitcoin hit 70k. And it is very likely to happen within this month. Now let's see when it happens, because we can't say anything for sure.

I see no reason why Bitcoin should continue falling along August month. The recent correction must not continue for too long. In fact, if it's not solely a normal correction which is healthy to happen right after a massive pump, I don't know what else could have motivated Bitcoin to have fallen from 69,000$ to 63,900$ almost at once.

Maybe US government selling coins could have triggered the effect, but I think it's still too drastic to see it as the only factor, considering how much price has fallen.

I read news stating Fed announcing a cut on interest rates by September impacted Bitcoin negatively, as investors felt encouraged to go for traditional investments instead. However, it doesn't make sense at all, because so far, the correlation between Bitcoin price and Fed interest rates always worked inversely proportionally.

Good to see this thread going live at this point in time because bitcoin speculations for each month have almost become a culture for us here on the bitcoin speculations board, this have helped alot of us to gain knowledge and experience from the past month speculations and I am sure alot of learning will still take place on this thread, but one thing we should settle down with on time is the fact that bitcoin is an unpredictable assets and at that we can only speculate what we think will be the price of bitcoin within this month of August.

Volitility is one of the core features and attributes of bitcoin so we can deny the fact that we will continue to see such high level of volitility in this month since bitcoin market is already gaining momentum, as we all know that the higher the price of bitcoin, the higher the rate of volitility in the market so we should expect more volitility and we shouldn't be surprised to see bitcoin touching below $60k again, but one thing for sure is that, bitcoin will end this month somewhere very close to 70k and above but we can be specific on the price since bitcoin can't be accurately predicted.

Just like a said above, bitcoin is going to likely end the month of August on a very positive note and I predict above 70k for bitcoin in the month of August and we may likely see a more bull tedency as we jurney ahead towards the end of the second quarter of the year 2024, between we shouldn't risk what we can't afford to hold for a long time.

One should never worry about August 1st, as we should be looking at the chart for the entire month to make predictions about selling prices. July saw the biggest dumping in Bitcoin price touching $53k, but again in July the highest pumping Bitcoin price touched $70k.
So since we saw Bitcoin price move lower on August 1st, it could go down a bit further. 

But it's time for a correction because it's normal for the Bitcoin market to be like this before the halving, because the lower it gets, the more investors will have an opportunity to invest. So one should not be shocked by the volatility in the Bitcoin market at the moment, but if you are patient, there is a high probability that the price of Bitcoin will touch $80k as high as this August.

Bitcoin price is unlikely to break below $60k, but it is more likely to stay between $60k and $70k for a long time. Investors should not be disappointed, because it is normal for the price of Bitcoin to go up or down. Investors will be more attracted to Bitcoin as the price falls and will try hard to reach the next bull run. Because 2025 is the most likely Bitcoin price to rise, it is highly likely that the Bitcoin price will rise from this current month of August.

These are the most common words which i do saw for it to be relevant towards this market, and now we are speaking or talking about August on which we do have that common impression or sentiment
that this is really that a ghost month which this is really that common known or could be heard of on traditional markets like Forex or Stocks. We are just that still day 1 of August and lets
see if these sentiments would really be getting in line with the current movement of price on which people would really be assuming that these things could really be giving out such effect.

When it comes to prediction on which majority of coins now are in that correction or simply we are still on negatives. Dont know if this one would really be moving sideways until October or November on which this one
is usually the condition on where prices are really starting to kick in or making up some recovery. Although we cant really be able to be so sure that it would really be just that happening on the same thing.
It is really that something important that making up some DCA as of this moment would really be the sweetest thing to be done not unless if you would really be that skeptical or having those hesitance
because you are really that believing that there would be that further dumps.

The German government has sold off all their bitcoins, Mt.gox is still continuing to distribute bitcoins to creditors but it seems that the market is no longer interested in this news, so it can be said that scary things are almost over. And the notable news is that it is almost certain that the Fed will lower interest rates in September even though they have not confirmed it today. Therefore, I guess and expect that in August the market will have more positive developments. But I will have high hopes for BTC to make a new ATH, what I expect is that it can surpass $70k and can stay at that level until the Fed announces an interest rate cut.

I am guessing that we are going to probably see 70k+ this month. While it's true that we tried to go up and failed to do that once already, I think we are going to try a few more times and achieve that eventually, it will not be too simple and it will take a while but I bet that it will happen.

All I want is that we are going to end up with something much better, we should be considering how things are going greater as well. I know that it takes some time, it's not really that common but we could consider how things could take a while and this month could be finally the one that break over it. I am not saying we will stay there or keep going higher, we may end up with going higher or not, I am not sure about that at all, we may even go back down again, none of that is known. After reaching 70k+ we may do anything, down up or sideways.

What I am guessing however is that we may end up with something that will actually profit for the short term right now. That will definitely make things a lot easier and I believe that the income we could have if we invest right now isn't that low, it would be at least 15% or so, and we are talking about just within one month, so it would be quite nice.

Despite the volatility of bitcoin the price uncertainty that surrounds the decentralized digital currency makes it unpredictable leaving it all to the hands of demand and supply. More so, for the month of June and July the market news about Germany selling their bitcoin and including Mt Gox sales had a profound effect on bitcoin price falling below $60,000. If bitcoin is going to fall below $60k again in August it would take a strong news to create that FUD that will cause that effect.

To the second question. Using a higher timeframe of 6hrs, 8hrs and 24hrs you would observe that there's some form of support around $62k and it's unlikely that price going to break below that support area except an important news occurs to effect that within the month.  What I think is that a long time of price fluctuations between the support and resistance range is what we would be seeing until price pull high again.

i don't see Bitcoin achieving a new ATH or even getting to the $70k margine we've seen it taking a roller coaster about. From what has now been an index that should have played it's own role pushing Bitcoin close to the $70k point which is the USA election and how bullish people have been in its anticipation, I would rather make a reasonable speculation that's fact based after the outcome of the election become known. But like it's always been, event can happen too sudden and then the unplanned happens and ao I can't rule out the possibility of $70k or something even far above our imagination but the possibility of such kind of things happening might be too slim so I will still remain with my ascertain that for this month that has just started, we might only get to see something that looks like last month although I doubt we would see anything that's below $60k.

Seeing the current price development, bitcoin continues to decline, and has the potential to decline to the price of $60k, it is quite sad after trying to cross the $70k limit, but rejection occurred and then experienced a decline.

If you look at the trend I think $70k will be difficult this month to touch, but my estimate is that bitcoin will only take the price of $67k at the end of the month and continue to rise in September, to restore the bitcoin bullish zone, while this will only happen sideways on bitcoin, yes although we do not know whether in the next month it will have positive or negative sentiment in the market because it is very difficult to predict.

Nobody can "know" but I can't even predict anymore. Back in the day, we could say that we don't know what it will do but we could at least make something up, speculate, predict, guess or assume. Nowadays I can't even do those, if we are only talking about August of course, on the long term I do believe that we are going to make money, but that doesn't mean that it will be simple, it may take a while and I think its quite obvious that we are going to face some issues as well. In the end, its not that simple to make these work, so I think I am going to just say that August will be a wildcard but long term is up so keep holding if you can. The bigger drama happens closer to the USA election, when their economy will probably take a huge hit from a crippled Dollar with a bleak future. It can fall below $60,000 in the first week of the month since we are still in a bearish movement as Bitcoin has been falling but I expect everything to stabilized in the middle of the month. Last month was not very good for the market and for myself as I experienced some losses while trading because of the condition of the market and my predictions being wrong but I expect things to be very different this month. August could bring good movement in the market. We should be trading pass $70,000 or go higher. My prediction is for Bitcoin to be trading between $70,000 and $75,000. I do not think we should see bitcoin trading below $70,000 after the last dip to below $60,000 that the market is looking like it is going to happen during the weekend as Bitcoin is trading at $63,200 right now.

Since the all time high was set bitcoin had a correction to a price I think is the realistic one before that heavy ride to $70k, right now we have already gotten the correction and in my opinion the Market Should have moved long time ago but the FUDs are around the sale of bitcoin by institutions and countries like German plus the Mt.Gox refund has pulled it back. You can clearly see that immediately this FUDs died down the price started moving in upward again and then fell back. Right now we are more of ranging or rather consolidating at the moment and I think it will continue throughout this month.

My prediction is if we manage to break the $70k then there is high chance that the market will move towards breaking the ATH again but should there be another test of resistance at $52k then I see the market going down to $50k and ranging again for sometime probably the whole of this month or until the Q4
