There is no knowledge better than experience. perhaps you might want to try all things (apps) that might help you in the crypto space but downloading all this apps should be done with so much care because harm virus are always targeting beginners in th crypo space.

This forum serves a lot of purpose which could cover most of the downloading you did already but as you desire you might want to download Reddit, that's based on my preferences and join the bitcoin and cryptocurrency communities on discord you will learn altogether including the helps you would get from Bitcointalk forum.

if you want to hold crypto, I would suggest you use a hardware or Electrum for bitcoin specifically and be more careful with CEX not to hold huge amounts in them for long.

You need to have a wallet with advanced features, such as coin control in order to understand how transactions worked and how they can be tracked by some people, authorities and companies. Electrum is a must if you want to understand how Bitcoin and the Blockchain work IMO

I suggest you to learn about cold storage of Bitcoin and also learn about Electrum wallet. That's the tool that I prefer you most if you want to hold Bitcoin investment safely for long term.

Electrum is safe and open-source Bitcoin wallet and anyone who learns it can save his/her Bitcoin for long term without any issues.

I suggest you to avoid holding crypto-currencies at those online exchanges but you can use those online exchanges for purchasing of crypto assets.

Having more applications installed on my device means the more chance of getting hacked.  Though I'm New into the crypto space, I don't know  but I've read somewhere that without someone having access to my secret code that is my passphrase  he wouldn't be able to hack or get access to my wallet.

You're right, and yes there is a tendency that you'll still get hacked if you innocently connect your wallet to some services that you'd be required to just press your consent. That's why don't just connect your wallets if a website asks you to do so if you are not aware of the website and the service that it has. Because there are websites that upon visiting, you'll be asked to do that automatically so you just have to decline it and leave that website or simply ignore and leave it.

Yups, this needs to be noted, because many beginners just install programs or applications without fully understanding how to use them.
Even now there are more applications for crypto and some of them are also the cause of malware and phishing attacks etc.

If you want to become experienced, of course, you have to go through a series of experiments and things like that to get through these experiences.
Because the crypto world is not just a theory, but there needs to be some practice that must be done.

But the OP seems to be too excited and in a hurry to install all the required crypto apps.

You shouldn't store your crypto on cex wallet for far too long. As the saying goes "not your keys not your coins". Better store your crypto on wallets that does let you store the seed phrase or mnemonic phrase. You can download elecetrum for wallet storing bitcoin and you don't need KYC or anything like that. Trustwallet does support a lot of crypto but trustwallet isn't an open source wallet that's why they can't be trusted. Honestly, I have been using trustwallet many times but I never left my bitcoin in there for too long or should I say, once I got my btc then I always transfer it right away to my main wallet.

Do you actually need all these? I think they are not necessary and they are not important.

Firstly, learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency first, if you are able to understand the basic concepts behind them, you can now conclude what and what you need to start not by just downloading these apps as you do.

Do not rush, take it easy because there is no hurry in Bitcoin or crypto investment.
Learn about Bitcoin, blockchain technology, wallets keys and address.

You need to stay focused, these social accounts will only be giving you different unverified information from mostly social media content creators disguising as crypto mentors.

First, identify what kind of cryptocurrency you wish to know about and try to join forums of likeminds like you so you can discuss and share ideas on what you all know about that coin. Participating actively in cryptocurrency forums is one fast way to learn and gain a broader knowledge about crypto. This is way better than relying on some social accounts as a tool.

Remember also that scammers are much on social media, so be careful.

I can see your seriousness to really learn more and getting prepared for the crypto world. One thing you need to understand is that many of the apps you have downloaded especially the different wallets are not that important for you unless you want to dive in participating for airdrops and bounty campaigns. All these you have gotten is good which is for the future need so in case the need might arise but the most important thing for you is to have good understanding about the crypto and how you can diversify your crypto investment whether you will later become a trader or just an ordinary investors.

There are also scammers in forums, but they are much less and communicate via PM because if they share the details in public they are easily exposed by veteran members.

It’s really crazy and if he is isn’t careful he will end up mixing things up which may be costly for him as a newbie. He doesn’t even seem like he knows much, a newbie should focus on learning and understanding how crypto works. There is a lot to learn as a beginner and failing to understand wallets security and some other things may lead to loss of funds.

Be careful how you engage in these social media’s especially Telegram and Twitter, there are lots of fake profiles and fake information being spread their so don’t just believe everything you see there.

With these wallets i get the feeling you are interested in altcoins since they are mostly multi coin wallets, altcoins are not so reliable and they are more risky so my advice for you is to start with bitcoin for now as a beginner since its risk is less.

Bounties and airdrops are not paying reasonable amount of money like they used to do which is why most forum users don’t advice newbies to start from there, instead they advice them to learn about Bitcoin and focus on investment using DCA method.

With what OP listed above, I am not certain which aspect of cryptocurrency he wants to involve himself with. Does he want to be a trader? Because he got a handful of exchanges. Does he want to Hodl, because I saw non custodial wallets. Are those social media platforms necessary? Or he wants to bounty hunt. It seems OP wants to involve in everything at the same time.

I'll advice him to take one step at a time and understand the industry first before weighing in fully.

This is used for long-term storage or just as a transit point for your assets. Because if you store assets for the long term, you must consider a wallet that has a good level of security.

I use one of the exchanges to buy and sell the bitcoins I have, but I only use it as a transaction step. The primary tool that will help you as beginner or venturing into crypto is not all about wallet, but information, just as many has said cex wallet or storing your asset in cex is very wrong when your full of information you don't need to even think twice because if the danger in keeping asset in cex, the self custodian wallet has always been the best for crypto just that as beginner you must have the information and what it take to keep the details because any mistake you might lose all you stored in it.

I'm very confident that you are referring to bounty when you said crypto space. Everything you mentioned above are tools for bounty hunters and I guess one of them refer you to this forum. If my guessing is right, well, there's more to bounty in this forum and you don't need most of these things that you downloaded.

To get started in crypto space is to have access to appropriate information. By information here I mean knowledge of what you are getting into. Forget about wallets and social media, what you need at this stage is knowledge about crypto. Wallet comes after you're familiar with the technology and decide to take action on whether to invest/trade/hold. I see some links in the previous replies under this thread directing you to appropriate thread to get more information, you can read through them or visit https://www.coindesk.com/tag/learn/ to learn more about cryptocurrencies in general.
