I agree with you on this. starting early makes a huge difference. kids don’t need complex finance theory, just basics like saving, needs vs wants, and how money is earned. at age 7+, habits form fast. a boot camp can help, but parents practicing this daily at home matters even more imo.

Children learn from the examples they see easily within their families. Their behavior is naturally imitative. If the examples are good, the results are good. However, if they don't, and the examples they see are mostly less than ideal, the results will naturally be less than expected, meaning they will develop undesirable traits, which is easily seen in their demands.

The advice is to continue teaching them honestly, starting with us as parents by stating that each request is appropriate to the situation. It's not that we won't fulfill it, but rather that we educate them as early as possible so they understand the situation and can later adjust their needs and expenses wisely. This requires practice and isn't something that can be done instantly; we must shape and guide them gradually.

Imitating what people do at home, because the habits children practice are certainly the result of what we have practiced in our families' daily lives, so they are easily imitated by them because children's five senses are quick to respond. However this may be beneficial for the child which we should do because children still learn from their parents in the first place.

That's right make us our children's basic teachers so that when they interact with others without us they still prioritize beautiful language that is heard by everyone. Occasionally give them time to continue developing both in the world of technology and in other things that can serve as inspiration for their future. With a wealth of knowledge, a child's life will be organized and maintained.

The most inherent education of course comes from parents and children are imitations of children, it is undeniable, what is imitated by parents will be imitated by children, but I think that only happens at a young age or children and after adulthood, each person has their own choice even if they have to change their character, even though it will happen when they are aware later and can see between good and bad so that no one can be blamed except themselves, especially in financial management.

I like this idea a lot. Teaching kids about money early removes fear and confusion later in life. It doesn’t even need to be complicated — basics like saving, budgeting, and understanding needs vs wants already puts them ahead of most adults. A boot camp is fine, but daily habits at home matter even more imo.

Yes, that's right, young children tend to catch on quickly when they see things in front of them or what they hear, in my environment there are many young people who often speak rudely when there are small children around them and that makes children hear it quite often as a result they sometimes say the same thing, even though parents have tried to forbid it but what happens is they even more deliberately say inappropriate sentences. Apart from the school environment, children can also learn at home or even outside the home, therefore our behavior and words should not be arbitrary when there are children around us.

Teaching kids about money early is fine, but forcing it can do more harm than good. if it starts feeling like homework, they’ll hate it. kids still need time to be kids. imo the best way is keeping it casual, stuff like allowance, saving for something they want, or simple choices. slow and natural works better than pushing hard and killing the fun.
Kids today grow up in a world where financial decisions begin at a very early age. Teaching children about money is neither a burden nor harmful to their joy. When financial education is given according to a child’s age and capability, it does not mean placing pressure on them. it helps them understand the basic financial cycle in a simple and practical way, often through small activities and real-life examples. Early financial education can play a vital role in shaping their future, as it prepares them to handle real-life situations with confidence. financial education for children is not a burden but an investment in their future, helping them grow into responsible and capable adults

I started teaching my niece about money using small allowances and goals. By 12, she understood budgeting, and now she even asks about Bitcoin. Early financial literacy really sticks if it’s hands-on.

As parents we have an obligation to teach and educate our children about financial literacy from an early age. It doesn't have to be complicated simple things like what you mentioned are enough. Lack of financial literacy will lead to poverty a fact that occurs in many cases.

Many people are born into wealthy families, but when they pass on their wealth to their children they end up bankrupt. Because they lack proper financial literacy, they often spend their money on unnecessary expenses, vacations abroad, and so on. So, instilling financial literacy from an early age will set children up for a better future. Financial literacy in schools is limited which is why parents must teach it from an early age starting at home.

As long as children are taught things that are appropriate for their age, that is indeed quite good. Young children can be taught to save money when they want to buy something, so they learn to be independent and understand that to get something, they must first go through a process and make an effort, such as saving money and so on. And when they start to mature, we can teach them to invest, which is a way to increase the value of our money in the future. In essence, there are certain stages that are adjusted according to their age. Since I was a child, I have been accustomed to saving money if I want to buy something that is quite expensive. Even though my parents could have easily bought it for me, they preferred to teach me this way. However, I have become someone who is stronger in enjoying the process of achieving what I want. I became someone who doesn't give up easily, and I also learned discipline and consistency simply because I learned to save my allowance regularly. Indirectly, this also made me accustomed to disciplined saving, disciplined patience, and restraint from spending all my allowance at once, along with many other valuable lessons.

Financial literacy for kids is important but it has to stay practical and simple, at that age they don’t need complex investing theories, teaching them how to budget small amounts, avoid impulse spending and set short goals is enough, once they grow older they can learn about investing and even Bitcoin.

Even many adults who are already grown up still don’t have good financial literacy. That’s why starting with something simple is a very good idea and an important first step for our kids. I want my children to begin learning about financial literacy as soon as they are able to read and write. With simple lessons like understanding money, saving, and making choices I believe many in the younger generation will be better prepared to solve financial problems in the future.

At the same time, we don’t need to force them to learn at an expert level while they are still kids. Childhood is also about playing, exploring, and spending time with friends. Learning about money should be fun, age-appropriate, and balanced, so they can grow up with healthy habits without losing the joy of being a child.

When they grow up, everyone will learn it on their own because their minds are already open, but what they learn from childhood will leave a mark so that parents and the environment will have a very big influence on all of that and in my opinion financial literacy for children is very important, I say that because my parents taught me that so that ordinary things from childhood will have a positive impact on me until now.
