It was announced on news updates that Donald Trump of the Republican party have finally agreed to debate with the current US Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on the 4th of September next month. He said “I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th,”

Recall that Trump has earlier wanted a debate between him and the current president Joe Biden before Biden later dropped his intentions to vie for re-ection and subsequently, nominating his VP, Kamala Harris in July 21, after which Trump said he wasn't going to debate her.

On the other hand, Kamala Harris responded last month that she was "ready" after Fox News proposed the presidential debate between the two candidates on Sept. 17 and now Trump have shown his readiness too by agreeing to debate Kamala on the 4th of September. Source.

She'll probably get into her usual loop of repeating every sentence in random order.
It's going to be a comedy where she attacks him for being convicted and dirty while he talks about her fake accent and heritage. They will talk about all the unimportant things while the important ones will be left unanswered. Why don't we talk about money printing and debt? Nothing new to be expected. They're all politicians who're not to be defined by their political words such as the debates and Campaign engagements.
As for the debates, Kamala might actually bench Trump because she has got lot of reserved astonishing expressions within her as she was jus of recently endorsed to be the Democrats candidate while Trump may run out of new trends since he has been a lot blasting Biden all those while because in political debates like this, the public would always expect new ideals and of course something new.
Although, Trump is an old folk who's incomprehensive. He'll always stretch to win the peoples minds my uttering what's most interested by the people.

We already knew that this must come to place because right from time, there be be a presidential debate on the participating candidates from each political party representative on the presidential race, this is not because of they are more outspoken than the other or an attempt on trying to challenge each other, but we must hear from their own personal opinion with what they have to offer the people and country at large through debate.

I am excited for this. I want to see how Kamala Harris can talk to Trump. She is funny and a great communicator so it’ll be interesting to see how she can respond to Trump’s jabs.

I am also excited for Trump. He finally shows that he is not afraid of Kamala and is confident he can win over her even in just a debate. This debate can singlehandedly change people’s votes.

If I recall correctly the first debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden took place on CNN which is in all sense considered to be a left wing media channel, so far the moderator did not seem to be biased in favor of Joe, actually, the moderatornwas very passive and allowed Trump to lienon National TV about anything he wanted. In the case of Fox, I doubt they would even have as measure to mute the mics once one of the candidates stops speaking. They first supported the campaign of alternative options like Ron De Santis for the Republican ticket, but they have now devolved into being completely Pro-Trump, due to that detail I expect whoever the moderator is to ask Kamala Harris uncomfortable questions about immigration and crime and the war in Ukraine, while avoiding topics like election denialism and violence in the Capitol back in Jan 6.

Trump and Harris had an agreement to debate on a neutral venue, and then Trump, presumably advised by his team that his derange, geriatric mind has absolutely no chance against somebody like Harris, bailed out of the agreement and instead proposed something his team knew Harris could never agree to.

That way, they figured, Trump won't have to go on TV along side of Harris and look like a dribbling old idiot going on an on about paying for the national debt with our Bitcoin, or talking about the awesome score he just got on his latest stroke-detection test.

The contrast between a smart, young, competent Harris and the old and rambling Trump would be shocking to Americans. Trump needs to make sure that never happens.

Just watch: if Harris actually agrees to go on Republican TV and debate Trump, then Trump will just add other requirements that will make it more impossible for her to accept...

Who knows, he may believe he is having a good streak and there is nothing in the way stopping him. He is quite a narcissist according to many people, and narcissists don't recognize their own weaknesses, in the end.
It would be quite a bad surprise if we end not having further political debates in this presidential race, to be honest, it is the least thing I would have expected from the beacon of democracy and hope the United States is supposed to be.

Though, there is a fair point he does not need to debate to keep his base, for someone as divisive as Trump is, it is difficult for him to gain the trust and vote of more people.

I don't think she will be under pressure.    She just needs to prepare to deal with a bully.   Joe was in a serious race with the Dump, and he was under pressure.

There is no race anymore - the polls just need to catch up.
