Are you noticing? But I have seen that those who do such campaigns do these campaigns to come to power. When they come to power, they don't talk about it anymore. Trump currently has such a campaign to gain power that he appears to be doing nothing about it once in office.

I just wrote about this in another thread, but I have no doubt in my mind that he is more so deceiving the bitcoin "community' than he is actually supporting it.  His speech at the Nashville conference just a couple weeks ago said a lot to me and should say a lot to others in terms of where his true feelings really are when it comes to his true feeling/beliefs.  He's simply trying to garner votes and it's so obvious it's not even funny.  Not sure how everyone doesnt see it.

If he has done this before his announcement that he will run as a president, maybe we will trust his sincerity and being genuine to the bitcoin community. But looking at it now, I believe this is all for a positive cause for his presidency in the next few months. And I think the bitcoin community is not that stupid to easily believe and get deceived by Trump. Others may be convinced, but majority aren't.

Not just Trump, do you see any politicians who will keep their promises after achieving their goals? Which president will keep his promise after being elected? Most of them will never fulfill their pre-election promises or mention them again and that has become the culture in politics, not surprisingly.

What we should consider is that we have very few options, Trump, Harris, and maybe Robert F. Kennedy Jr but it looks like this independent candidate has almost no chance in this race. So either we choose to ignore and not vote for anyone, or: we will only vote for 1 of the 2 and who you think will lie less is your decision.

I am not from the US and basically, I shouldn't care about that. But let the people there notice it and our fellow crypto community members there will find it if ever he wins the race. The race hasn't ended yet and there could be some plot twist on this even though he's likely to win it.
Politicians are normally like that, they'd tell you this and that and promise the whole world to give to his constituents and when they've won, they barely remember what they've told the people during the campaign periods. Well, I'd say that it's the typical politician that we have and if Trump can prove that assumption wrong, well, +1 to him.

Actually, this whole novel says more about the so called Bitcoin community than Trump himself. Trump everyone already knows, so no surprises regards him being manipulative like any other politicians of our time.

The lesson I take from this is that an organization like Bitcoin community can't be taken seriously. It's just another attempt to centralize something which was designed to be decentralized. Members of this community don't talk for every Bitcoin adopters. Each Bitcoin adopter is unique and independent.

What happens is that there are Bitcoin adopters who are also Trump supporters, so even though it looks contradictory taking the history into consideration, they have found a way to mix both. If Trump is deceiving someone, it's his followers and worshippers, not Bitcoin adopters at all...

Before he used bitcoin to campaign for his Presidential ambition, he has seen the important and the usages of the digital currency and that is why he is supporting it in this second coming to the white house and if I will say let the citizens or the bitcoin community give him a second chance to see what he is preaching about concerning bitcoin.

You are right, as much as politics is concern, everything comes with different lies just to lure the citizens, and when they won and have seated on their respective positions, all those promises have suddenly vanish like they weren't said at all.

Now, Trump is never an exception. He can forget about bitcoin and its community right after election. So while the time is still for us, we should think wisely who to vote or just ignore them. But to be honest, Trump has an edge now over his competitors. He might be the next president if he turns lucky this election period.

He cannot deceive anyone except those who want to believe in his fairy tales. It is obvious that speculators expect that Trump will make some dramatic announcements that could pump and dump and possibly enable some additional earnings. The good thing about Bitcoin is that you cannot successfully repeat the same bump, so in a few months it will not matter at all what Trump has to say about Bitcoin.
The moment he sees that his influence has declined in the crypto community, he will stop doing it himself because it no longer brings him political points.

Let's be straight, Trump haven't used bitcoin like ever. He doesn't know how, and has people that deal with that for for him.

Even if you disregard the fact that he has never given any reason for us to believe he would understand the concept of BTC, then just the fact that his account have been hacked in the past by guessing his password is all the proof you need, that this isn't a person who would be informed about cyber security. If he knew anything about it, he would have said something credible about it.

And given how essential cyber security is with bitcoin, we can clearly see how he is out of his element in all of this.

I think there's been a pretty rapid change because many recent surveys show Harris's approval ratings are slightly higher than Trump's. I also support Trump and hope he wins the election, but it cannot be denied that Harris is dominating some surveys in strategic states.

Although we don't know how Trump will treat bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but if Harris is elected. We will certainly continue to face harsh regulations, and the troubles that the SEC creates in the market.

It's hard to know what will happen next but I just hope we get a government that is more friendly to us instead of trying to limit our growth.

Trump has really been making impressive speeches about his support for Bitcoin in recent times and extend his endorsements, but we all know what a man can do when he's under pressure or seeking for a position. His favorable speeches are fetching him support of the Bitcoin community which is a very good electoral tactics playing out in his favor.

Who would believe what these politicians say? They only move according to what they want to achieve - no one really cares about Bitcoin - and what he said about paying off debt with crypto is just empty talk. But at least what Trump has said so far can more or less give a little picture of his policy towards Bitcoin if he becomes president in the future. Maybe he will not fulfill all his political promises towards Bitcoin, but at least 1 or more of his policies are pro Bitcoin and maybe that will make Bitcoin's "footing" in the US market more stable and that could affect the value of Bitcoin in the future.

Exactly, politicians are not to be taken serious because they are always bent on deceiving the unsuspecting public with their words because of what they stand to get at the end of the day, although this kind of statement can trigger a kind of force and more influx of individual and institution into Bitcoin investment considering the the status of the individual that made the statement.
It is a usual thing for politicians to promise without fulfillment that's why politicians are regarded as heartless liers but we don't know the particular campaign promise the will be fulfilling once the win the position they contested for.
We should also know that it not easy for a contestant come open to say such things about Bitcoin, I believe that before those public speech he have a plan of implementing good policies that will be beneficial to Bitcoin and bitcoiners, those promise has also rekindle the hope of bitcoiners as such intending investors may be triggered because this kind of assurance.

We know how powerful this power just seems like one statement he can make some changes with the crypto and in addition with this is he's close looks like partnered with Elon Musk so people tend they really support the use of the bitcoin but for me it depends on the situation we're tired to those just make an introduction they will support the use of the bitcoin but once they already sit in the position they forgot most of their promises. If you are an active trader in the market having this news is a good swing for profit, but in the long term I will not become dependent on their statement. Politics hides a lot of sugar coats.

We can't conclude that Trump has deceived crypto community now. He is even not elected as a president yet, he still doesn't make any policy related to crypto industry. We can see it when he already becomes a president, he really sticks on his promise or not. If if the US government under his leadership makes friendly policy for crypto industry in US, it means he doesn't deceive us. We only can blame him to deceive us if then there is no friendly policy on crypto under his leadership.

Trump has the upper hand over Biden, that's true, but since the Democratic Party changed its candidate, Trump has gradually faded. And I agree with you based on recent surveys, Kamala's support rate is somewhat overwhelming compared to Trump's, but the gap is not too big. 
It's important to note that surveys don't represent final results, just like in 2016 when people believed Clinton would beat Trump but then Trump won convincingly. It's still very early to confirm who will be the winner.

If we cannot confirm that Trump is lying to us, that means there is still a chance for us if he is elected and keeps his promise. He hasn't come from outerspace though lol he used to be president for 4 years and in all those years like every other president and presidential candidate before and in the future he has been pro-censorship and pro-surveillance. There is no reason to believe that after decades of severe control, the US government is suddenly deciding to give that up and become pro-freedom!
