BTCs sent but wont confirm

I sent from BTC on 3/28 @ 22:15 using Bitcoin 0.4.0-beta.  After a day of the transaction failing to show as confirmed, I upgraded to Bitcoin Core 0.9.0.0.  The transaction shows up there, but still shows as 0/UNCONFIRMED.

For over 24 hours now, it has been SYNCHRONIZING with the network and has been STUCK on 65 WEEKS BEHIND.  WTF? This is an i7 with 12 GB of ram.....  Please help me fix this.

Is your problem already solved?

And if this is still stuck you perhaps need to redownload a blockchain - delete whole downloaded blockchain (do not remove wallet.dat )
and download again ...

Try re-installing also please mention details about how much you transferred and fee also it would be great if you can post the link to the transaction. Hope it will get fix for you soon
