CHIPS.GG do my case get some compensation? [SOLVED]

I need some opinion from other fellow member. It's regarding (CHIPS.GG).

Basically, CHIPS.GG just hired and sponsored a streamer from USA-Virginia A.K.A BossManJack. However, by doing these they just broke their own term & condition by make exceptions for BossManjack to play on CHIPS GG.

According to the terms & conditions:

I had a case 1225 days ago, and due to this situation decide to bring my case back since they just broke their own term & condition.

While your CASINO has a different deposit address for any type ERC-20 Code Asset (mostly some casinos have same address). I contacting CHIPS.GG supported for at least the recovery of my funds (cause these fund can be recovery easily by changing the network), during my request I also suggested to them don't really mind to take some fee from the fund recovery but they said would not do this and always put me on terms & conditions. I also contacted the owner Magalon a few years ago, and he also responded the same thing. In the end, I accept your response with your terms & conditions and moving on.

I know the mistake was from my side because not check the network on final confirmation, I accepted the consequence based on their response from Live Chat Support & Megalon are mentioned cannot be recovered as stated in the terms & conditions and moving on. Never brought these cases into the public or other

But, due they broke their own rules. I decided to bring this up, cause it's not fair for me while I accept their term & conditions consequences but they broke their own rules by making exceptions from hiring/sponsoring someone from USA-VIRGINIA while in terms & conditions, they restricted any player from USA.


Note: I just contacted their live support and they responded me to send email. I already email my case to them, waiting for some updates for right now.

AFAIK, your wrong network deposit can be easily solved since some casino like Duelbits manage to resolve same issue from fellow forum member. Some user reported same issue on different casino and all of them resolved it but some cases support ask for an extra to process the recovery since the work is out of scope.

About the streamer case. I’m not sure what’s their setup but maybe they are using dummy account for streamers and they are not actually playing real money since not only their own ToS being break but they might faced legal issue they are not allowed to accept US citizens customer unless they have license from US regulators. Nevertheless, your deposit issue shouldn’t be a big deal to resolve since other casino solves it for forum user.

Yes, it's should be and I also offer them to take some cut fee from the process. But they refuse cannot do that, and response me with term & condition information regarding sending un supported asset or wrongly network. I take their answer based the term & condition, moving on.

It's not a dummy account, the deal was raw and they just give (bossmanjack) reload money to his account + bossmanjack deposits his money & viewer money (by begging) on his stream. Basically, he deposit, withdraw and playing as (US Player).

Chips.gg is the casino with an old case where [ex] internal team got enough of the owner's behavior and decided to be a whistleblower, providing screenshots of their internal chat, of which they unilaterally [not asked by the provider] lock the player's account after a huge win, in hope the player will drain their winnings, and cheered up when it finally did?

That questionable things [and even more questionable deflection they gave as their defense] aside, and strictly speaking about hiring US-based streamers to promote their site, it probably brushed and matched a discussion with a representative of casino [not chips.gg] about one lifetime ago when I asked them about forbidden territory and residency.

They told me that a lot of streamers take a short trip to neighboring country that's not restricted [lets say, US citizen take a trip to Mexico] to make their content, and that's acceptable. So maybe that's what BossManJack do?

Sorry to hear about your deposit, the issue of deposit to the wrong network can actually be taken care of if the owner or anyone who has access to the finance/wallet systems on that platform are willing to handle it.
It is indeed a bit complicated and it can impact the security of their wallet/addresses to get private keys from certain address, so most casinos and exchanges usually refuse to do that with a reason that is a mistake by the user and they have stated about this in their T&C.
As far as I know, there are several casinos that ever given different policies regarding cases like this, deposits are processed with note if it happens again, they will not handle it anymore.
I suggest to contacting the owner or manager of the platform, because support will always answer no and we can't blame them either because they have to answer that way.

Regarding streamers from restricted territories, this actually happens in all casinos - almost all casinos have ever worked with streamers from the US or other countries that are on the list of prohibited countries from playing on their platforms.
The only ones who can warn them are the licensors - but I'm a bit pessimistic they/the licensors even care about that.

I wonder if this is only applicable to their streamers. because I am fairly sure that they will close an account of a gambler if they find out through KYC that the gambler is gambling in a non-restricted country, but is a resident and citizen of a restricted country.

Some of exchange or platform, even they have some term & condition with deposit un support asset/network (they can't process those) but even with those term & condition some service decide to process and help the user. Could be there has some fee, however I also not forcing them (responding me with term & condition, I respect their rules and moving on).

But seeing they just broken their own rules, I can't take those and decide to created these.

In that case, of which I take your words for it and didn't bother to check any of his video and believe that information of his access point and his marketing contract with chips.gg are verifiable, then yes, not only it's a violation of ToS, chips.gg can also be considered to provide a questionable marketing strategy as it poses a risk to cast an impression that US resident can play on their platform.

Granted, it's each and every users' responsibility to read the ToS and understand the territory being restricted by each and every platform, but I'll have to say that the marketing ploy made by the streamer will raise an ambiguity and confusion on whoever followed his channel.

There are some casinos that sponsor streamers with small viewers/followers with special deposit bonuses (wager requirements + max win) for streamer.
So, the casino actually considers them the same as other ordinary users.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that we never read any report/accusation here from streamer who got banned by a casino because he came from and played from a restricted country

Some people might say 265$ it's small, but for people who are living in third country especially (Asia). The amount money it's salary money 1-2 month for some people, I bring back cause they violate their own term & condition.

In the first beginning, I respectfully follow their term & condition even we all know these fund can be easily recovery.

You should've already created a thread here when the wrong transfer case happened mate, T&C excuse is not for something like this when they can easily recover your money IF they have access to the private key. If they don't have the access to private key, meaning the crypto payment is done by the 3rd party they can always ask the 3rd party to recover your money... So no T&C excuse is required, it only needs efforts by going the extra mile for a customer. And now you're asking for a refund after 1225 days have passed where it's 100x more difficult compared to when the case is fresh. I hope you still have your money back though, even though the chance is slim. And now, we know that (1) they broke their own T&C if it's beneficial for them, and (2) they won't go the extra mile for their customer.

Not sure if it's considered a scam. For me, it's just a bad business practice.

Don't want to be a jerk, and I kinda respected the business too.

So, I also tried to communicate with my friends who at least have some connection between Chips & Megalon. But, they are cannot help and decide to let these case go. I know the chance are quite small but at least these could be some warning for people about their business scheme.

Hopefully, no one can facing some problem in the future cause they can just broke their own T&C.

They can afford to loss because it's not their money. In a traditional casino the steamers are giving credit balance to play with certain conditions. Conditions like to wager x amount and anything after the wager requirements, it's the streamers money. The amount is so high that most of the time the steamer does not make it. There are other conditions like play until you lose the entire balance.

These streamers are paid for their time just like an employee. So it does not matter if they win or lose.

However, by doing these they just broke their own term & condition by make exceptions for BossManjack to play on CHIPS GG.

I think it's not applicable for an employee and they can justify it by saying the streamer is paid for his job.

1. Bossmanjack is given completely raw withdrawable balance. And ONLY completely raw withdrawable balance. He's very anti-anti-raw, thinks using fake money with a backend deal would be lying to his viewers and says it disgusts him. This is also shown when he gets reloaded $200 by the site, loses it within 30 seconds on Dice and literally freaks out and bangs his desk. So no he doesn't play with playdough money.


2. Chips.gg is PROBABLY not going to address this thread because doing that would mean having to kick off Bossmanjack which is the biggest streamer on their site by a LONG run.

3. Chips.gg is PROBABLY not going to give you compensation because it would mean giving attention to this thread and giving people more ammo against them if they were to compensate you and still have a US streamer on their website, which would 100% be the case because again they are not going to let their biggest streamer go to waste.

4. This means they have to be careful with whose money they seize for this rule in the future because any large amounts ($1000+) would gainer a decent amount of attention and the hypocrisy would throw their site into the gutter.

5. The one thing that COULD happen is you open CasinoGuru + AskGamblers disputes about this and they settle it and compensate you there, but they will not compensate you publicly on this thread.

BossManJack's only form of payment with this site is completely raw balance. He loses $900 in 30 seconds because he's an impulsive gambler with a 1.5million view Youtube documentary video on him because of this impulsive crazy lifestyle he lives.

He is given RAW balance to gamble meaning he is technically no different than any other player and they are breaking the law by letting him gamble. They just don't care because they are a small time casino and he averages 500-1000 viewers per stream so they're really hitting the jackpot with showcasing him. It's worth the risk for them. And then when they're finally confronted about this by licensee if ever happens, they'll say they didn't know he was from the US and apologize and boot him off the site, and will be left with a lot of fucking advertisement from his streams alone.

Doesn't matter. The 2nd option would just be a sad attempt of a loophole of the first option. It doesn't matter if it's credited internally via an admin panel by staff or if it goes to an ETH wallet and then the website balance. The end result is the same. The balance is raw, meaning, what he gets is what he gets paid. If he gets topped up $600 by the site that day and loses all $600, he makes $0 that day advertising for them. He is SUPPOSED to make a few hundred dollars stretch hours to meet his streaming criteria of X amount of hours for the site per day, but he is impulsive as fuck and gambles it all.

He doesn't get extra money behind closed doors if he loses. He is not told to lose it all and get paid more later off camera. His deal is the top ups on stream, and only the top ups on stream. Which is all withdrawable money that he can turn $500 of into $500k and withdraw all $500k if he gets lucky enough.

Casino doesn't consider about the terms when they make a sponsorship deal with any person or company. BCgame and Shuffle had also made sponsorship deal with him while they don't accept players from his region.

They won't give you any option to justify your issue by following the sponsorship related thing. Chips.gg team have the ability to recover the assets and send it back to you or credit it to your account. But it looks like they aren't maintaining their wallet like other website. The fund is still in the wallet address in which you have sent it by mistake. Unfortunately, your chance is almost zero to see any steps from Chips.gg team by highlighting the other fact.
