How reliable are Binance articles?

Hi,

So I read on Binance that XYZ project, which is still in phases and is not launched on CEXs yet, has a potential of 'exploding to XYZ amount'.

My question is, since Binance is considered to be a major player, whatever they post should be something serious?

Understandable, it is 'their' opinion - but we are talking about Binance here.

Please enlighten.

I'd say you should take them with a grain of salt if you're talking about those binance research articles, then, you should keep in mind that they're mainly research pieces and nothing more. There are some articles on binance on their Binance square platform. People say if you counter-trade investment or trading advices on there, you actually get to make money.

My suggestion? Just treat it as you would any research pieces and just use it for your own research bias because the only thing that works in crypto is if you do your own research.

Are you talking about Binance Square, where you can publish articles?
Be careful anyone can publish their own article on Binance Square it may contain sometimes phishing sites and fake news. Not all articles created by its users are true or serious.

Sharing a link won't break any rules unless you share a phishing link or a site that contains virus.

Binance square is full of fake trading gurus and misleading opinion because anyone can publish their own article and I never see binance themselves publishing anything about investment recommendation because it will break their business conduct, I think.

the articles that got authored by binance usually have this detail as an author



so always be on the lookout that there might be some ridiculous shill created by some random people to mislead you.

It is a good habit to pay attention to details when you are investing or trading in cryptocurrencies market. These articles provide valuable information and updates, but it is important to conduct your own research and due diligence before making any investment decision as such predictions are just opinions though they may carry some weight, they should not be sole factor of in your decision making process.

You're probably talking about some articles floating around binance square and if you see the description about binance square you will figure that
It's just binance version of twitter, allowing their user to interact in a platform that's pretty much a social media and the content inside the platform are pretty much like twitter, you should never consider these article to be reliable source of information.
because clearly the article were made by content creator with their own biased view.

Of course you need to pay attention to sponsored press.
They will not tell the full story but will just share what they want to highlight at most.
Yes you can get some piece of information but I Will carefully check before getting in any investment decision.

That's pure advertising and should never be taken serious. Nobody has a crystal globe.

Never take blindly nobody's posts, no matter how reputable he is.
* Paid advertising is a reality and many don't mark that properly.
* Many will post based on what suits them best (and in this case it can help their business)
* People can be wrong or mistaken.

So: look around carefully, get more sources, discuss the topic, take decisions on your own.
This being said, imho it no longer matters whether Binance posts or articles are reliable or not.

It's all speculation. If you are still new to trading, you have to get used to it. We have even very well reputable people shilling different projects and coins for personal gains. It doesn't mean what they are saying is 100% correct.

If you can not do your own research, then you are fucked!

i'm definitely not gonna trust anyone who utter such words LOL . better off doing your own analysis at least if it turns out to be wrong it's because our own mistake.

Most of the articles are written by community “influencers” a.k.a. paid shills or brand accounts. Binance only publishes these articles because they are making money from sponsored content. It is not a credible source of information. If you want reliable news there are plenty of websites out there already with much higher standards.
