Well, no, not really. I prefer my finances to depend on something stable, and on long-term savings plus investment. As a big goal I prefer bitcoin to help me improve my life much more than it already has.

However, for starters you could have clarified that you can only live on skill games (only a few can). If you plan to live on casino games you are either crazy or foolish.

This would be the worst mistake someone can make in his life. Thinking of being a professional gamblers only means that the person is thinking that he can make money from gambling. Successful gamblers are those that are making money from other sources and not thinking of gambling as a way of making money.

Nope, it's better for me to become a live streamer if I want to make money from gambling. Becoming a live streamer has no stress and risk of losing your money, instead you only lose other thing that not related with money like privacy and time, so you will not ended up being homeless even you make mistake.

Live streamer is feasible for me rather than build a gambling provider or build my own casino that requires a lot of money.

Surely, everyone who once decided to gamble had the goal of making correct predictions as often as possible. There is no need to dissemble that everyone wants to win, but we must always understand that gambling is not some kind of industry where a person improves his professional skills. When I didn't know much about gambling I used to think that it was something that someone could make into a career that could give someone financial freedom but gambling is not something you should depend on because it is unstable and cannot assure you a consistent flow of income to sustain a balanced lifestyle. The only people who gambling have become a career for them are people who own gambling casinos or houses but not actual gamblers themselves because gambling will never be a profession or a career no matter the money making opportunity it has.

I have never thought of making a living from gambling nor thinking to be a professional gambler in order for me to live on gambling because I don't see it as something being realistic. It will only be a dream that will never come true and a sign of laziness.

For one enjoy gambling, you need a means of income to stake your bet because the casino is not a charity organization that gives out money to whoever gambles in their casino. If the casino can set up a business in other for them to earn a living, a gambler too must have a means of income in order for him to gamble responsible, otherwise, you will become an addict and live in depression.

This could be possible but again theres no assurance in playing gambling, it depends on the  game you would like to risk, like playing sports betting or with the slot games.  If you are well skilled you can participate into different events like the pokers or any table top games which is have higher chance to win, you can get a title at the same time cash prize. Personally I do not recommend this if you are just a casual player just have a small amount of money to wager because this kind of profession takes a lot of money as your capital and experience to win.

If I based it on my winning and losing ratio and from the experience of people who are involved in gambling, I think it's not possible to make a living as a gambler; the risks are just too high to make a living out of gambling even the best in analyzing sports can still come out short.

Betting is never a job or a business; there's no money to be made here. The losses are more frequent than winning if you want to be involved in gambling and at the same time make money, then owning a casino is the best option but as a gambler its a wish that its impossible to materialize.

Gambling is based on luck therefore I also think that it'll be a big mistake to depend on it as a primary source of income. Gambling is not where you're sure of making money at the end of the day, it's either win or lose so somebody with financial responsibilities should never consider it as a professional means of livelihood. It can atmost be an alternative source of income where if you win you'll add the money to your funds or if you lose you'll not be affected much because you don't depend on gamble wins to pay your bills. It's better to gamble for fun and the thrill of risk taking, with the amount that you can afford to loose.

I guess you call yourself a professional if you consider gambling as your full-time job. By making it a job, that means you are earning money from it. Most professional gamblers are probably making a fortune in gambling, but there are only a few of them, while the rest continue to lose money in a casino or sportsbook.

For me, I might consider becoming a pro in the future, but that depends on how capable I am. As of now, my performance isn’t really good as I haven’t made any profit in gambling in the long term, so I think I have to minimize the amount I’m gambling. However, I’ll continue to record the outcomes and see if I can turn it into a profitable run.

Sometimes thoughts like that come to mind, especially after realizing that what is called winning does not require at least getting x2 of the bankroll.

Betting $100 - $1,000 on a bet that is almost certain to win, for example in football, guessing that Real Madrid will score a goal in a match, will get at least 10% of our bet. But is that really certain? In practice no, sometimes we get bad luck.

Because of avoiding excessive risk, i think standing on betting as entertainment is enough.

Though, it's true that having a career in gambling as a professional is every gambler's dream, but the sad reality of the fact is that not everyone who wishes for such do have the sustainable financial capital, patience and the zeal to actualize their dream to come through, as this is one career that involves a high level of risk taking and luck, of which if you are not always lucky, you are likely to go bankrupt due to gambling on games of luck,  however, if you are lucky, you could stand the chance of winning even up to 100x or 10,000x of whatever you may have lost to gambling. However, gambling is what we should go in with an amount we can always win.

It has crossed my mind but I knew to myself that I could just be setting myself up for failure(which would probably be true). There are many people who depends their life to earn a living from gambling but as we know gambling is a game that is not reliable whereby you can lose at any given time and again your winnings is not sure so how would a man make it a source of livelihood to sustain his or her family to enjoy financial abundance. In the beginning no as I only used to play instant result games like slot machines or roulette and these kind of games.I tried sport betting and I also didn't do well there,tried to read,copy and follow experts predictions in soccer mostly but that ended up the same way as playing slots,you lose all the money although not as fast as in slot machines.Lately I have started playing poker and doing free rolls whenever they are possible in every site,even the one in my signature is going live with them on 15 August if I remember correctly and I have seen that when I play in free rolls with a lot of persons with many tables in Texas poker I have seen that I come up from 2700 players an average of 70-190 and I have lately started to think,I should probably try out the Pokerstars series we used to see in TV and maybe I am good enough.This is a dream though  .

We have heard of professional gamblers but I have no idea if any of them are on this forum. Also, we don't know if anyone considers them professional gamblers or not. But I believe that there are professional gamblers who make their daily needs or living through gambling. I have no intention of becoming a professional gambler but I would like to see myself as a responsible gambler. I want to enjoy betting. There is no point in living with gambling money. I do gambling for fun and have other sources of financial stability.
