Lots of people want a opportunity that can be life changing to them, but its hard to achieve this status or situation in gambling.

It's hard, but once you succeed, the reward is very fulfilling. Just imagine making money doing something you love while others are losing in gambling. If that happens to you, you can be very proud of yourself, as making money through gambling has no limits. In a huge industry with billions of dollars circulating, you could become a millionaire or even a billionaire at best. But again, these are just possibilities, and they can't be achieved without having the skills, which only a few possess. That means we have to be part of that few. There are only a few ways to get rich: one is to have a successful business, and the other is to be in a profession with a high salary. So, if you consider yourself a professional gambler, you could surpass the salary of even the highest-paid professionals in the world.

Gambling does not rely on skills and never forget that luck plays an important role in determining the outcome of gambling, never consider gambling as a profession to become a millionaire because only a small number of gamblers are able to reach that point and professional gamblers also rely on regular income from business jobs and other jobs to stabilize their finances from losses due to gambling.

So stop being influenced by other people's statements that say gambling can bring wealth and maybe they influence you to become addicted to gambling, we must think realistically that gambling is only for entertainment and gambling is not a profession to hunt for profit.

For a short time only, but once I made some researches about making a living from gambling, I found it very complicated and difficult for a person in my age that has priorities in life.
Simply, to make a living from gambling, you will need much time, experience and probably significant money to lose before becoming a successful gambler. Moreover, not all games are profitable in long term, so many people that wants to make a living from it and become professional, they chose Poker, counting cards in Blackjack and table games competing against other players and not the casino.

Personally, I only enjoy gambling for short moments without any intentions to become profitable or professional. I can’t spend all my time in playing games, with less possibilities to win.

I am okay to be the normal gambler that have no obligation to make that much with gambling. I am okay to just be entertained and bet whenever it is necessary for me to. I want to be in that state that I am enjoying financial freedom but not through gambling and whenever I have that, I don't think that I'll often gamble. It's the fastest way to get sucked.

At first, when I started gambling newly was when I had that thought of being a professional gambler so that I can always make money the easy way but as time passes by and I didn't win as I expected was when I realized that it is impossible for one to earn a living with gambling. Gambling is not a job or a business that you can be a professional in, it is for fun and to relieve one from stress after work. Gambling with caution is the best because you need to have self control in order for you to limit your losses.

it is better to make gambling a fun game to enjoy. trying to be a professional may not be possible for anyone. or only a small part of them play in physical casinos and play consistently. even if a professional gambler meets another professional at a table with a big bet. there will still be one of them who loses. meaning everyone must be aware that what they bet will only have the possibility of winning and losing. we as gamblers must be prepared for loss and also victory.

For me gambling is not something that should be taken too seriously, it is nothing more than an activity to fill my spare time when I am bored with the aim of getting entertainment.
Becoming a professional gambler yes it looks interesting, but I think for me it will only waste my time, because for me regardless of who you are, in the end defeat will always be part of the game that can make you lose money.

I can't imagine how much pressure I would feel when I needed money for my living expenses while I was losing in gambling. Yes, it means it is better to put that seriousness in other things, such as in some professions that are quite promising and do not depend on luck, in the sense of a profession that can make you have a good selling value so that money will come to you.
On the other hand, you have proven it yourself, my friend, that when you try to dedicate yourself harder to gambling by betting totally but in the end the results are very bad, very far from the expectations that you always imagined before, and not only you, but situations like this are also experienced by many gamblers, especially those who are addicted.

Besides, it would be very stressful to start a career as a professional in my opinion, just think about it... it would be something you used to do with spare money and for fun and suddenly becomes you livelihood. I don't think it is for everyone, it would make more sense to me one becoming a trader than a gambler for a living.
Besides, I have got the impression those who already have a career with gambling either have other sources of income to make up for any losses or they are professional poker players, where there is some strategy and skill which can turn the game on ones favor.
I don't think it would be possible for anyone to live off spinning slots...

I agree that it's not for everyone. I am okay having fun and doing all of those bets win or lose. Unlike when I chose to be a professional gambler, I've got metrics and money to chase and I don't like the stress of it. Maybe it's worth it when I win big but it's not for me to chase those losses that I've made because the stress and emotional being is more important to me nowadays. There is so much to this life to think of and not with the chasing of losses and some quota within the day.

I have adjusted my mindset greatly of recent and I no longer think I will consider making gambling a profession even though at some point that thought was fashionable. For now, it is better I keep gambling as a casual activity and means of making passive income so that I will not be too committed to it to the detriment of other things.

Besides, I have not seen much professional gamblers and what makes them professionals in gambling considering that luck is an active part of gambling.

I myself have experienced thoughts like this and it happened when I just gambled and managed to get a profitable win, but such thoughts turned out to only bring me misery because the victory in gambling cannot be obtained easily, even though it sounds easy but it will not happen as easily as we think. Because the victory in gambling depends on luck so we can win if we are lucky but unfortunately it is impossible for anyone to be lucky in the long run or it often feels impossible.
You are right, no matter how hard we try in gambling, we will not be able to win if we ourselves do not have a portion of luck, but those who force themselves to continue gambling will only experience misery or financial ruin and this will definitely happen, besides that becoming a professional gambler has never been in my thoughts because fortunately I have realized it early.

At this point no, but perhaps if we can all go back in time and be young again, there could be someone from here who at least wanted to be involved in some capacity to be working on casinos if possible I reckon. Or maybe become a professional poker for all we know if we started at a young age and really pursue and make a career of being a pro poker player and who knows, become big and be on the top and then enjoying the best time of their lives since they are still very young. But for those who really aged already from playing in brick and mortar and then online in the last 5 years, I doubt that we will still have plans. Perhaps we just play to have some fun and be entertain and just enjoy what gambling has to offer to some of us.

Yes, that's one downside of it, and if you look at professional poker players though, maybe in the beginning, they never thought that they will go and become pro and could just started playing to have some fun.

But when they realized that they can make money from it, that is the only time that they try and see how it goes for them. And I'm also under the impression that those playing in pro tour could have amassed a lot of money already and so even if they lose or never land in the top 10 or no money reward, they can still go on with their lives. In short they don't look at this as their source of income.

If I earn money from gambling, if my family doesn't accept it as legitimate, then maybe this money is not worth earning. It is true that we play gambling but not as a means of making money for entertainment. There is no guarantee that money will be earned from gambling because in gambling you can win as well as lose.

Making a source of income from gambling usually doesn't end well if you don't have other sources of it or you are not a shiller / influencer of sorts.
