But being rich and having all the money in the world doesn't guarantee that you'll be among the happiest people on earth, people who can meet their obligatory basic needs can be more contented and happier than the richest man alive. But I can agree that poverty degrades a person, someone that can not meet up with taking care of basic needs like food, shelter and other miscellaneous expenses is in in hell on earth. So I think that it's not necessary to become very rich but having enough to take care of you basic needs is obligatory.
