My name is João, and I am a father of four from Brazil. I am writing this post to seek out other individuals who may have been defrauded by the online gambling platform Bazed Bet. I believe I have been the victim of a calculated scam, and I have initiated legal action to recover my winnings and hold them accountable for their actions.

The Scam:

On May 28, 2024, I deposited 3.61 BNB (approximately $2,166 USD) on BazedBet.com and, through a series of legitimate winning bets, increased my balance to $15,556. When I attempted to withdraw my winnings, BazedBet subjected me to a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process. Despite providing all requested documentation, including my ID, passport, proof of address, and even a video selfie with my documents, Bazed Bet deemed my documents "illegitimate" and permanently banned my account.

Evidence:

I have meticulously documented my entire experience with Bazed Bet and [redacted], including:

Video proof of my winning bets: https://rumble.com/v54jgwz-bazed-bet-scammed-me-15000.html

Screenshot of my withdrawal attempt: https://www.talkimg.com/images/2024/06/29/hx6vH.jpeg

The KYC Trap

When I tried to withdraw my winnings, Bazed Bet hit me with a Know Your Customer request. I was asked to provide copies of my ID, passport, proof of address – even a selfie with my documents. I meticulously followed their instructions, believing it was standard procedure.  They hit me with this KYC requirement. No problem, I thought. I sent them everything they asked for my ID card, passport, two bills showing my address, even a selfie with my passport. I even sent them a video of myself and all of my documents.

I did some research and found out that Bazed Bet doesn't even have a license. They're not supposed to be handling KYC docs at all. Now I know they're using this KYC thing as an excuse to not pay me. Their use of KYC to withhold winnings is fraud.

I filed a complaint with casinoreviews.com but bazedbet.com didn't answer: https://casinoreviews.com/complaints/bazed-bet-they-don-t-pay-winners-30-06-2024

Ruling Found Against the Operator Found Against the Operator - Despite our repeated efforts to contact Bazed Bet to discuss this issue we have received no response whatsoever from the operator.

You can see they verified this is a scam.

The Rejection and The Silence

To my shock, Bazed Bet rejected my documents, claiming they were "illegitimate." They then permanently banned my account, effectively stealing my $15,556.

I tried to reason with them, sending emails and messages, but they blocked me on all their platforms – Telegram, chat, you name it.

Here was their last response to me. Now they block my chats, don't answer my emails and have blocked me on Telegram.

[redacted]

Further Investigation:

More than ten other individuals then spoke with me and referred me to others, which helped uncover even more information. They told me they know who "[redacted]" is but are giving him a chance to make things right before they reveal his identity, or 'dox' him, as they put it. They said he’s a [redacted], born in [redacted], and he holds either [redacted] or [redacted] citizenship. With this information, there aren’t many people who fit the description, so identifying him isn't difficult.

The investigator has identified three of your four partners.

Mark: [redacted]

Michael: [redacted]

Bubbles: If this issue isn't resolved quickly, his identity will be provided to us. With the current information, our investigator should be able to fully identify him within a couple weeks anyways.

After my account was banned, I conducted further research and discovered that BazedBet appears to be operating without a valid gambling license. This raises serious concerns about the platform's legitimacy and its right to handle sensitive KYC information.

There is over $100,000US in scams just reported and posted by Bazed Bet

Furthermore, BazedBet and [redacted] have been linked to similar allegations of fraudulent activity in the online gambling community.

You already create an accusation against them with this case on this thread, BAZED BET SCAM - Beware of Bazed Bet: They Don't Pay Winners, it'll be very much appreciated if you can focus the update on that thread instead of creating a new thread, so the updates can be well documented and people will find it easier to follow the situation.

As stated on that thread, harsh as it may sound, they don't have ANN or rep here, so there isn't much that we can do.
