It's no news that most of the crypto airdrop projects have been a scale scheme and lots of scammers are taking advantage of the large telegram community. No one is above mistake so it's wise that anyone engaging in this airdrops or have interest to start should take of these guides

⚫Never share your seed phrase or exchange passwords with anyone, like never NO EXCEPTIONS not even your bestie.

⚫ If you receive an airdrop of a token you have never heard of, leave them in your wallet or disable them. Don’t transact with those tokens as they are a type of scam called "dust attack"

⚫ Admins of Projects will never DM you first. Don't be fooled by any "I am an admin message"

⚫ Always check official Project groups when you are uncertain about a DM you received and someone can help you out.

⚫ Trustwallet/ Metamask/ PanCakeSwap don't have active customer service. No one will ever contact you from these platforms, except scammers.

⚫Be mindful of the websites you connect your wallet to. Always do some research first to make sure it's legit.

⚫ If you receive a DM that you won a contest and have to connect your wallet is probably a scam.

So far I have not felt any other party contact me via Telegram channel (DM) or from other social media. The problem that I often experience is that we have completed the task diligently and correctly but over time the payment does not enter the connected wallet. This often happens and most importantly do not spend any money, no matter how small, for airdrop events. Remember to protect your money properly because there are many ways of fraud

Well, I always thought that everyone understands that. I mean, most rules are pretty basic, especially "don't share your seed phrase". Who could even do that?

yeah! I expected a lot more advance security check that people might have unknowingly or carelessly neglected that might be detrimental to thier funds. The main way to comfortably get involved in airdrops and not risking too much is to get a totally different device you're to use for your airdrops and another device that will be used for your other crypto transactions. Basic rule like handling your seed phrase securely or not taking messages From admins of certain project seriously aren't even common with Airdrops and seems way too theoretical than a practical experience that's common with most airdrops. The site you visit and the spams you receive while you partake in certain airdrops are for me the most risky things that's mostly associated with doing of airdrops.
