Not 100% sure if plastic stickers and chips being water resistant is news, but I'll allow it for the cool dive photos - select your second number, please!

"The Legend of Satoshi Nakamoto", by "Coin Artist", 2014

This is one of the coolest collectibles I've ever seen. This painting, created by Coin Artist in 2014, contains a private key that grants access to 4.87 BTC, which was worth around $1,400 at the time of its creation in September 2014. When the puzzle was solved three years later, the 4.87 BTC was worth over $50,000.

The Bitcoin whitepaper was produced in a braille format for blind people
I auctioned a physical copy of one years back
Here is a link to digital version (which doesn't do blind people much good... lol Tongue )

This is not an interesting fact, but a lot of people assumed I was part owner of Silver Wallets. I was not, just sold them for them, much like I do now for Polymerbit.

I also used to do group buys for:
- Kialara, as you had to buy 5 at a time for the initial few releases, did five in total
- PaperSafe, that came with a custom EU stamp
- Bitcoin Penny
- f*D
- openDime
- BitPiece

Just felt like sharing. Forgot how many group buys I've actually done, nowadays everybody just reships via Minerjones. Tongue

I've seen some of the posts, but I'm always supportive of noting down history - please select your number!

I love puzzle pieces - I know zipreg has one available now, been thinking about that - please select a number!

Awesome!

I'll post a fun fact.

In 2011, Casascius was also selling the 25 BTC coins. However, he mentioned publicly here on the forum that he wasn't going to be making many of them, because "there just isn't much demand for them." The price of Bitcoin at the time was around $30, which put these coins at a loaded value of about $750. Today, this translates to $1.5M worth of Bitcoin. And the coins themselves are extremely rare, with an auction in November of 2021 "The “Baby Cas,” a 25 BTC physical coin issued by Casascius in 2011 realized $1,698,750 at GreatCollections"

details on that auction: https://www.pcgs.com/news/casascius-bitcoin-sells-at-greatcollections

If this makes me eligible, I would like slot #17 please  Smiley

Unfortunately, I've aware of much of Cas history (then again, this thread was kicked off with a Cas fact I wasn't aware of, so maybe I'm not)

Feel free to try again with more interesting tidbits!

Hmm.

I was the first person to release artwork related to the Bitcoin white paper which featured the entire white paper set with the Bitcoin logo. Several variations were released by artists over the years, drawing inspiration from the original art which released in 2018:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2700386.0

I can also confirm I was the owner of one of the 2018 Allen Ginter Cryptocurrency Glow In The Dark Mini cards (one of only four) which was sold for $10K in 2019. Buyer would like to remain anonymous, however, but this is good information for the forum for when another one shows up for sale and people may have a difficult time determining a price.

Interestingly, I chanced upon a set of Lynx cards while cleaning up my storage - a (I believe) full set of serial 87/100 at that point in time - maybe I'll post some photos once they're slabbed

Each use is allowed up to three entries, so you can have one more if you have worthy facts Cheesy

I bought them off another forum user (won't say who for privacy) - they are quite lovely. I got the holos with them, although I never ended up DIYing the keys to fund any.

Ok ok... let's try other 2 facts for tonight...

- the first bitcoin collectible realized was a coin made from wood carved. the owner it should be already around here on forum...
- the first crypto stamp has been produced by Gibiltair

I didn't know about the Gibraltar one, so one more number at your discretion please.

And that collectible is used by Cyrus as his profile image.
