Will bitcoin still be profitable in the future when most people might have understand it better to hodl bitcoin. I think bitcoin is gaining more adopters because people are getting to understand it better and I feel in the future people won't be worried about the volatility of bitcoin because they already know what the volatility of bitcoin is all about. If majority of the people hodl bitcoin in the future will it still be profitable as what it is today ?

Bitcoin will still be profitable however that think that the volatility will reduce. Remember that Bitcoin ETFs is on the increase therefore we my likely see an increase in people who buy Bitcoin ETFs as well . Well I would strongly argue that instead of asking about Bitcoin's profitablity in the future ask about those who would lose the value of  their wealth by still holding fiat currency. The US Dollar has concerningly lost 98% of its purchasing power since 1971, so this article reports this should be the real concern for folks

There will never be a time when every Bitcoiner will only hodl, there will always be buyers and sellers. The price of Bitcoin might be less volatile in the future but it will always be a speculative asset. The Bitcoin circle will also create opportunities for people to buy during the bear season and sell in the bull run.  

I think having more people holding Bitcoin will help increase the price,rather than having more sell pressure. The more people choose to hold the lesser the circulation which creates scarcity and potentially increases the amount to be sold for and to make it to that point means accumulating enough portion of Bitcoin now before then. Bitcoin is getting beyond margins, a lot of people getting involved and also how limited it is, definitely in the future every Bitcoin holder will enjoy the best of profits compared to what we have now.

People will always have reasons to sell their coins, so the Bitcoin market will always have liquidity. There will always be financial problems and other reasons why people will dispose of their coins. Profits from Bitcoin are unpredictable, we can not certainly say that the future will be better.

Undoubtedly Bitcoin can be profitable in the future, when most people will know about Hodl. But you have to sell to make a profit. How will you profit if you just hodl and don't take profit? In the future, Bitcoin will also be increasingly scarce and when everything is successfully mined, there will be no more new Bitcoins. The price of bitcoin was very low at one time but now it has become very expensive for us and we can't believe the price of bitcoin but the price of bitcoin can be millions of dollars in future. Think if more than 50% of people use crypto, how many trillions of dollars could the market cap of crypto be and what would the price of bitcoin be? Analyzing these, it is understood that the price of Bitcoin will leave millions of dollars in the future. so the holders will definitely enjoy future profits.

we must realize that Bitcoin is not only owned by holders. some trade it and will always be there and make market movements.
if the number of holders increases, especially those who are not individuals, it can be an agency or a company. it can also affect the price and condition of Bitcoin in the market.
of course many people will seek profit from the Bitcoin they have held for a long time. when there is a moment to sell, they will sell it for profit.

HODLING Bitcoin alone will not make you profit. Like what I saw here, the profit only comes when you SELL your assets and that includes your Bitcoins.

I always believe that there will always be investors that will sell their Bitcoins because they feel that they need to cash out already and take their profits. Even in the future, there will always be buyers and sellers although in the past, we've seen a decline in the total amount of Bitcoins that exchanges are holding and that shows that there are lots of investors who are holding their Bitcoins in their own wallet. Still, you said the word "MAJORITY" and not all, and I don't think that all investors will hold their Bitcoin. At some point, they will sell it for profits.

As for me, I'm holding some Bitcoins, but when the time comes, I will sell it and take some profit. It would be completely stupid if I will hodl my Bitcoins forever. After all, I'm an investor and not a collector of assets.

There won't be hodlers if it's not with huge profits. The longer they hold, the more likely they will gain future massive profits. Which only proves, that bitcoin will still be highly profitable in the long run, regardless if sellers will already be outnumbered by hodlers. As long as hodlers continue with DCA, then bitcoin will always be profitable. Where there is low supply comes with high demand.

Technically it won't be profitable until you made use of those profit, mean you buy something out of those profit, or else you were just hodling. It's the same thought on just hodling while price keeps dumping.
And once someone who do it (selling) especially a whale or institutional investors like the Microstrategy, then particularly it will have a huge effect on the market so...An schedule selling is still good even just a portion of the hodl amount IMO, unless you have so much spare money, so you just need to stack bitcoin.

What I think is that not everyone would Hodl forever, some would sell when they've made enough profits and their are people who would still want to diversify their profits into other assets like Real estate and the rest so in doing that they'll have to sell off some portion of their holdings.

 Moreover a market manipulation could occur and cause the price could go down to the point that even some people who understand volatility would panic sale just like it happened a week ago thereby giving some investors opportunity to buy again, I think Satoshi was already aware of this and that's why he decided to make Bitcoin volatile so it could still have value in future.

 I think no matter how long Microstrategy and other big whales hold their assets, most of them would definitely sale some portion of  of it someday, and invest later when another opportunity comes.

Yes, that's how bitcoin is so volatile, and how profit is made even in a single move of bitcoin price and thats how bitcoin is very interesting asset to begin. Although Satoshi is aware of this since he made the supply is limited to 21m and with all different kind of traders all over the world, bitcoin price become so volatile. And manipulation is always in hand, FUD, FOMO, negative news, you name it.

There's a discussion in the past that deals with Bitcoin in the future and the volatility of it might be lesser and fluctuations won't be much. I think we're still far from that scene and whatever phase we are in right now, there will always be sellers, holders, and buyers. And that's why there is balance in the economy of Bitcoin and what many seem don't like is the involvement of the big financial institutions. Once upon a time, it was also a discussion of what if they join soon and start to invest in Bitcoin. Now that they are in, many doesn't like the impact that they are bringing to Bitcoin.

Volatility is an important aspect of bitcoin no one would ignore. People might not neccessarily worry too much about Volatility, but they will definitely need it to know when to buy, sell or keep holding.  All attention will definitely be focused there.

Don't worry to much about hodl situation since not everyone is capable to do this so even if there are lots of people do those actions, there are still people selling their bitcoin and we could able to see a healthy circulation of this coin in the market.

But also bitcoin will still profitable eventhough those situation happens. Bitcoin still a volatile asset which people could take advantage to gain profits. Also lots of people still satisfied with each result they get either they are holder or just a regular bitcoin user.
