Na for radio stations I d hear more of bitcoin meetups. The meetups is channeled on how peso go invest with them with a particular amounts and expect to get so so amount as profits in a space of 6-12 months.

With my level of experience in Bitcoin knowledge, I come know sae those kind meetups no be wetin peso need to attend to because that's not what Bitcoin investment be like. You cant tell peso to invest in Bitcoin and expect profits in a space of time, knowing how unpredictable the market be. Any peso wey d advice such, are in to scam people that believe Bitcoin is short term investment.

Na the stated reason above na em make I no fancy go for bitcoin meetups despite hearing about them on radio stations. Person no need to tell me wetin my spirit no go like hear of after i don gain much crypto knowledge for this forum

Have you ever attended a Bitcoin meetup in Nigeria? How was your experience? If you were to host your own event, what improvements would you make?

Additionally, do you feel the meetup was worthwhile, or did it seem like an opportunity for attendees to show off who has the largest bitcoin? Was the event intellectually stimulating, leaving you motivated to accumulate more Bitcoin and contribute to the growth of the  community, or did it fall short of your expectations, leaving you feeling frustrated and disappointed that you show have stayed at home or did something important rather than wasting you your time going there?

This post is inspired the topics in the Meetups board.
I haven't heard or attended any Bitcoin related meetups before but I would really love to attend one, if any user here plans on organizing any meetups it would really help me in terms of personal growth as I know it will really enhance my communication skill and improve my confidence while connecting with like minded individuals, learn from experts and spark new ideas and motivation. A face to face interaction could really help enhance physical and online relationship.

Meanwhile, I don't think anyone would want to discuss about how much Bitcoin they have in their possession.

*********** or did it seem like an opportunity for attendees to show off who has the largest bitcoin?

This post is inspired the topics in the Meetups board.

I think any attendee who does this is making a very big mistake to say.   What is the point showing of bitcoin holdings in a public gathering of that nature when your safety and security is not guaranteed. In the first place was the gathering set up to show of bitcoin holdings? I believe no because if it was, you would not see anybody there to interact with as people would see it as a threat to their safety and would not turn up for the event.

Bitcoin meetups are for familiarity, onboarding of newbies and avenue to meet people who are bigger than you in the industry so you could get acquainted with them and also learn from them too. Businessmen display their projects looking for investors, organization who accepts bitcoin also avail themselves to  the community to letting them know they accept bitcoin for payment so they could gain  more customers.  All these are the benefits of such gathering and not showing off and any one who does than should know that he or she is putting him or herself at risk as their safety will not be guaranteed.
