Did I hear you say $3000, as in $3k dollars? People are cruel and heartless with no guilty conscious otherwise why shoot a man in legs twice because of $3000 like it worth his life. If they had the means to.takwhis life, they would have done that in the place and not his legs but all because of $3000 when there are people that won millions from casino, I wouldn't even call that amount as Jackpot, that's you can win from normal game if you stake high.

Not even that big of a jackpot to begin with and it almost costed him his life, and this is why I don't generally go to casinos anymore, land-based at least, and why I keep the number of people who know I gamble at a bare minimum. Yups, I would also disguise my identity when playing in gambling even using a pseudonym would be better, but this will only apply in Online casinos even though some casinos implement KYC but it is still safer and the identity will not be exposed to the public.

Land-based casinos also usually implement a good level of security by asking for the identity of every visitor who wants to enter and that is a strict rule, but of course every criminal always has a plan to commit a robbery.

Yes it is a horrible thing to happen, as you said OP the jackpot can be something that triggers disaster, but I will say that I don't think it will happen when you are involved and betting on online gambling, because it is very unlikely that anyone will know firsthand that you have hit a big jackpot.
