People still make a fortune off shitcoins, its the major reason why it still trends and happens to be the a major attraction for its players. It is no doubt that memecoins have now become a major center of attraction for liquidity. SOLANA today, has liquidity because of the hype around it and the fact that shitcoins are leveraging that chain, when the hyper leaves, liquidity will also leave and shitcoins with it.

People still make as much profit just as they do losses on shitcoins but it depends on strategy and information helps to strategize better. It still comes back to the investors perspective.

i think it's about the risk, while bigger the risk then bigger the revenue that you can get, but at the same time is bigger the chance to lose your money or to see the investment crashing, and that's why we se a lot of people investing in shitcoins.

It's really hard to chase a x1000 with bitcoin, but some shitcoins give us that oportunity, the hard part is to know where to place our bet.

For those investing in bitcoin at current prices, expecting x3 or x5 profits is also a huge problem, let alone x10, x100 profits. Average people might disagree though, due to volatility on Bitcoin price and transaction fee. But otherwise, i agree since altcoin usually have worse volatility.

Bitcoin would continue to remain the best coin for investment regardless of it's volatility or how high any of those alts get, they stand no chance against Bitcoin, new investors shouldn't be starting their Cryptocurrency journey with Alts, it's like setting death trap for a child before he's birthed.

Shit coins lack sustainability much more than bitcoin does and this happens to be like their major difference which so many are yet to notice and would rather say that they think shit coins does much better than bitcoin with their growth but then with sustainability, you don't expect a project to be doin such multiples at some times of which its what we are seeing with bitcoin which is far much away from shit coins. even the shit coins most times, do mirror the movements of bitcoin but because they are tryin to gain a stand and aren't sustainable jut yet, they do many multiples such that you would think they are doing any better.

It is hard to explain to blind people that diamonds are more valuable than mud, they expect Hype or luck on Shitcoin without caring about the greater risk. Shitcoin has no fundamentals at all, its price is very easy to manipulate, those who want to get rich overnight will certainly ignore it all because their eyes are already closed by greed.

Investing long term in altcoins is a bad decision because we all know how risky they are, but what about the short term? When bull season comes, bitcoin increases in price and brings with it hundreds of altcoin and shitcoin projects that generate thousands of percent. Why do we miss opportunities to increase profits? Not to mention there are free projects and we hardly spend any money to invest and still make a profit. As of recent days, many people have made significant profits from NOT or DOGs with almost no capital required. Why do we miss those things?

Honestly it works almost all the time, the problem for people who lost in altcoins is their timing, lack of knowledge, greed, and too much faith in the developers and their promises.  If we study the pattern of many altcoin market movements, we can clearly see that those who are able to participate and invest in its early sales, not the public sales, but the private pre-initial public sales are the ones who earned much profit.  Because participants on this kind of sales gets 20% to 50%  discounts and if lucky will get a bonus package of getting a lot more.

First of all the title is misleading because when we say Altcoin it includes all the coins except Bitcoin and i an sure others will agree that the coins like Ethereum is not suicidal but yeah it may not match or replace Bitcoin but it's not suicidal and can be trusted as it has sustained multiple bear market and still in the market.

They failed to dig deeper more information about possible risk since they blinded with possible earnings to get if they invest with certain altcoins introduce to them. No question Bitcoin is always the best and reliable coin to have, but people don't want to wait for long time that's why they usually fail in their investment.
