It is good to be aware that everything is based on risk when it comes to the market, and I feel like risk is normal and people will advise you to take risk because that is one of the way you can even make good profit because people that take risk are the takers, I would not say you should not take risk because you can not keep doing the same thing. Those that have decided they want to invest in Altcoins that's their choice and those that also want to invest, and I see peope saying invest what you can afford to lose, sometimes reverse should be the case but the risk should not be every time, so that you don't risk and lose everything. And this is absolutely correct. But I want to say that altcoins were not always 95 percent Scam. Previously, back in 2018, many good altcoins came out, investing in which gave a guaranteed Profit.
All projects had an excellent background. And now altcoins are the surest way to zero out your deposit.

I agree with OP to a degree. I mean if we are talking about top ranked ones then I like them, they are not really that bad, like if we look at it closely then ETH is an altcoin too and that's not too bad and if you want to invest into that then it's fine.

But, I agree with the logic that we see a lot of people who make a lot of mistakes and they should not really consider how they could improve and because of this I believe that we are going to end up with a loss, we should probably ignore that and we could make something much better, it would guarantee a bigger income. This is why I believe that the best thing to do right now would be getting it done in a smaller way, it would be a great reason to invest carefully into these.

Its just a matter of your own research and would really be ending up with your own preference.It would really be also that considerable on making up some altcoin investments too specially into those people who do really want to have that diversification then this is something that you would really be needing up to consider. I don't have much money to diversify my portfolio across different coins, Bitcoin being the only coin I currently rely on, nothing else. Altcoins are too risky for me, although other investors have different views on certain coins, but investing in Bitcoin will make me much calmer especially in the long term.

Altcoins are full of manipulation, it is very risky to hold them in the long term. Recently, Toncoin investors were shocked after its price continued to plummet following the arrest of Telegram's CEO by security authorities in Paris. The same incident with different cases may happen to other coins, I don't want to take risks that I can't afford, so investing in Bitcoin is the best choice for me.

I wouldn’t say that altcoins nowadays are totally worthless since there are still some reputable altcoins in the market. But the problem is it’s hard to find those right altcoins seeing a lot of new altcoins these days have turned into scams. So to lessen the risk from falling into wrong altcoins and lose instantly your funds, just stick to bitcoin and invest at your own risk. Bitcoin may be highly risky as well due to its volatility, but one can always guarantee that bitcoin is not a big scam but a very secured and safety source of investment.

Yes, altcoins are risky but we cannot deny that there are many people who have made a lot of money by investing in altcoins. Not to mention, there are many altcoins that have been around for years and are still growing, which shows that not all altcoins are scams. Some people are just being ignorant because of the price of bitcoin,  they feel Bitcoin is on the high amount which they can't afford and see shitcoins as what they can afford to invest in, and they fail to know that investing in altcoins are much risky.

 Despite the price of bitcoin have gone a long way it is still profitable to invest and the price is not a limitation for those with low income, bitcoin can is still affordable for everyone but many people don't understand that DCA method can be use to buy bitcoin easily. Yes we must do thorough analysis before investing. Investing in cryptocurrencies is risky but investing in AltCoins or ShitCoins is the most risky. Many investors are very interested in investing in a sit coin when they see a high increase in its price in the early stage. But they don't realize that its price will go down just as it is going up. Those who invest in altcoins or sheet coins expecting high returns are the worst affected.

So those who invest in shitcoins should not only invest in this one coin but also invest in other coins such as potential alt coins Ethereum, BNB, Lite Coin and Sol etc. Besides that if he invests in bitcoins even if he keeps the investment for a long time then he will have the possibility of profit.

What you just explained is in line with one of principals of investment, "high risk high return". It might sounds cliché, but somehow there are a lot of people failed to fully understands what are the risk, especially in investing their money on altcoin, and just highlighting the "high return" part, because there are a lot of people just following the trend in cryptocurrency and too eager in making as much profits as they could based on what they have seen in various social medias where people are showing off their portfolio in daily basis..

You can barely make some people understand some things until they experience them. A very large number of newbie investors would invest their initial capital in meme coins and shit coins because they have heard meme coins make people millionaires, but as you said, they were educated about the risks involved.

"Seeing is believing", I experienced some profits and loss before I finally be more selective on where I put my money on.

Eventually, experience is the best lesson if we managed to bounce back from the loss that previously happened to us, for me it is better to learn by doing.

The problem is that most legit altcoins will make you lose money and those that aren't legit will surely do the same.

It all depends on how much risk you're willing to take, like holding bitcoin is low risk, but holding it on a centralized exchange increases that risk. It's the same with altcoins, you add layers and layers of risk on top of each other until it becomes what OP calls it - suicidal.

Well I do think there is a big difference in a altcoin and a shitcoin. There is thousands of altcoins and alot of them have no use and can become a 'rug pull' at any time.
But tokens like Eth, Solana, and XRP I do not think we can call them the shitcoins. Billions of dollars in the marketcaps and we have to think there is going to be good uses for those. I do no want to say which coins I think are shitcoins but we can find this out if we do some research.

Yes, we all know that investment in altcoins carries a lot more risk than doing it in Bitcoin but not having altcoins in this space wouldn't have made much sense. Take ETH for instance and how it has been able to advance the smart contract and given rise to so many projects birthed on its ERC. Without alts there wouldn't be options to choose from and many use cases wouldn't have been established. For me, risk is part of business and a major thing every business should have whether we want it or not. Even Bitcoin has its own down moment. It's not a guarantee that every investment in Bitcoin must yield ROI on short term.
