We don't know how to govern us properly.
The economy is mess because of unequal wealth sharing and a lot greedy small business owners who take workers but they are not so wealthy as bigger companies so they try to pay low wages to workers to make themselfes rich.
So small business owners are biggest threat to society

I'm not sure of your society, in my street, kiosks, shops, and small business owners save lives. They offer loans, people buy on credit, employment, and charity. I understand that most of them do not sell at company prices. However, the actions and minor help they render to people qualify them as problem solvers. The greedy owners are not too many, except those who do not care to grow.

The reason why the American economy is sound is because of private businesses. Without these small businesses, the economy will be in trouble because of unemployment. These businesses also contribute to the revenue of the government through taxes. A country where the government controls all the factors of production will end up becoming backward as we see in North Korea.

Landlords of property don't charge much money to be fair if we keep in mind how much it costs to buy a land, build an apartment, pay to skilled labour, etc, etc... It's just terrible that real estate is a commercial business and governments don't give apartments to people who work continuously for years. In my country, years ago, when there was a communist party ruling, if you were working 5 straight years in a company, the company would buy you an apartment enough for the family of four to live. That's why there isn't housing problem in my country for local people.

In my country house rent is very expensive. The population of our country is increasing which has led to overpopulation in most cities. Landlords will usually increase rents because there are people who are willing to pay more. Before now, the government used to give workers mortgaged houses for them to pay up in a few years. However, the popularity of capitalism has made the government privatise all public corporations. Now workers would have to save to build houses.

Second group of people are landlords who happened to be lucky got Property and now they try to not work just making money out of others.
Not just in USA but everywhere else same problem so goverments not stay stand still but will take over now everything fully.
Anyways universal basic income coming because person who don't have job want to live good life same as person whos working.
Inequality doesnt do anything good in society becouse the money you have doesn't belong to you the wealth what you have belongs to everybody If person have money just on bank account or cash in home it doesn't serve common good of society.
Goverments will end now the economic indvidulism but will make more one center system.
Like Obama said the people can not govern themselfes.
But economicslly that's true that we have so much money in bank accounts and people have cash wich doesnt serve other people.
No reason to dream the private ownership Will end anyways.
I think they Will take all the wealth count it and then equal distribution.
But why you need to own your House or car? If it will be tokenized and on blockchain so you can buy the tokens and those tokens Are like shares of your assets you don't need to own exacly assets you can have tokens of your assets.

OP we know how to govern ourselves very well and perhaps government policies are the policies business owners used to pay their workers. Take for instance a worker who works with a small business just as you've said, the business owner pays the worker minimum wage, and it is assumed that with that minimum wage the worker can sustain himself, so the small business owner is not a threat, that's because he's still pays within the required regulations of the law, so perhaps when the government is making policies, they are making policies for the protection of business owners and even for those working within.

 Right from Inception and from history we have read, wealth sharing has never been equal amongst mankind, people strive to survive based on ideas they have and how to put things together so that they can get an edge on how to make money or create wealth for themselves.

If everyone is left to govern themselves the way they want, personal sentiment and bias will set in. It is quite unfortunate that thesame government which was elected to see to the welfare of the people have also neglected the people, letting them fend for themselves the little way they can. Many countries are suffering today because of total negligence on the side of the government and even the governed.

The citizens deserve all the good things the government of their country has to offer because they have worked so hard and paid for them through taxes and other civil responsibilities. So, it is also the duty of the government to do what is expected without being compelled to do them so there will be a balance in the country. The government is not doing the people any favour by performing the duties they are supposed to perform to their citizens.

OP reads like Klaus Schwab or something, I disagree & detest pretty much everything he says. I would really hate for a universal basic income to be integrated into our society. The WEF love this type of stuff, read up on Agenda 2030, they want to control us so that we own nothing. We are on a Bitcoin forum, we are self sovereign individuals. Man this is not it.

A complete control of the government of a country over citizens sounds like something our of an dystopian movie or an actual futuristic thriller, I would not like to live through such thing of scenario and I doubt anyone would like to live through it.
I am more in favor of a free economy with an equilibrate participation of the state when comes to solving issues of public interest.

Governing oneself actually it is just another term for "taking ones own choices" and accepting ones responsibilities, in my opinion.
Asking for a complete control of the government over our lives it is not a good idea, within the government of a country there will always be some centralized authority and so much power on the hands of a single person will devolve into a situation of repression and social injustice. We have many examples of authoritarian regimes nowadays to verify such a thing.

If I could not be able to govern my life and needed someone to look after me, I'd marry or simply return to my parents' house - I don't need government for it (in fact, nobody does). Oh, and if anything, many of the issues you've listed here can be solved with some variation of universal basic income. Anyway, nice attempt mr. bootlicker, try better next time.

The government has a major role to play in governing the citizens, and the citizens equally have roles towards the government and themselves. While the government puts regulations in place to ensure the smooth running of different aspects of the country, like the economic aspect, transportation, and healthcare sector, human beings working in those aspects have roles to play in day-to-day activities to ensure that these sectors are being managed properly.


If the government has regulations for private investors, maybe specifying how much a person can own of a company, if there are such regulations, then individuals will not go about buying things recklessly. If there is regulation that landlords do not charge more than a certain amount of fee, then it will be fair. And if the government also puts regulations in place where they do not overtax citizens, then it will be fair.


We have responsibility towards our life, managing our finances, maintaining our environment, and so does the government. So the government cannot run our lives entirely, but they have a role to play to ensure that we, the citizens, are financially stable, the country is safe, the healthcare system is intact, while we manage these resources properly.
Citizens must ensure that they do not go into crime, do not vandalize things; it's more of a mutual responsibility between the government and the citizens

Who did you think they were the government? We are part of the government because, without us, they would not be able to have the power they used to rule, they cannot be who they are without the citizens. I'm not sure where you're from, but where I'm from, we don't rule ourselves, we're still ruled by the government, and the government decides what we do and don't do for the country. Some countries are crying under the government, they do not want the government to rule them any longer since everything is out of control, and they don't care about the people who chose them to be who they are today.

We have fought many times in my country to put a stop to the bad government, people destroyed government properties, and many people died as a result of their desire for a better nation, yet you want the government to take over everything. If our government controls everything in the country, some individuals will barely eat once a day.
