Royse, have you perhaps talked with the forum administration and the Crypotmus team about their return to the forum? I see that they have reopened the signature campaign, which confirms their will to be present on this forum. They were banned for a minor matter, I believe it would be possible to allow them to attend officially, which would be very good. Some questions have arisen to which they can give the best answers.

Its good that Cryptomus continued their campaign here in Bitcointalk, Bitcointalk is still the best platform to advertise anything related to Cryptocurrency especially if it deals with exchange and payment gateway as these two are the most used platform of investors, traders and merchants.
I hope to see Cryptomus to sustain their presence here in Bitcointalk as this will gain them new users and continue to brand their service.

We're hoping that their representative will be back again unbanned and they'll be able to stand with some concerns. Well, I've done another withdrawal on them after receiving the last week's payment and everything quick just as how it went for me for the past withdrawals I've made.

I hope that the devs are reading this thread, if you can make someone login forever I think that's a good option upon logging in. So we don't have to log in from time to time upon visiting the website. That's just a suggestion that could ease some spare moments upon accessing.

Why does Cryptomus reject this many countries?
I think it has something to do with compliance. if your country is not yet included, you can open a support ticket and ask for request to be included, I'm sure in the near future they will add more countries to serve

Well, that's weird. Even though my country isn't on their restricted list, I am unable to access their service. I can see their website but not login. Not sure what caused this. If I remember correctly, when I first created my Cryptomus account (a month ago, I guess), I didn't encounter this issue.

PS: I had to use a VPN just to login to my account! Anyway, am I allowed to use VPN if needed?  Smiley

LATER EDIT: I tried to login today, no problem at all, login was flawless. It didn't require any VPN or anything. I guess the previous issue could be related to my Internet service provider.

This isn't what I have suggested but thanks to the devs, they've made changes during the logging in. I appreciate it that if the device is being remembered, it's easier for the users to login without asking that much. I'm not sure with the others but this is convenient for me, thank you very much, cryptomus.  Wink

I think rather than making the login last forever, they should just increase the session time. For example, to a month or two! This way, users won't have to log in again after a short period of time. Surely logging in once a month or two isn't that much of a hassle for anyone. Well, at least not for me. Of course, others might have different requirements. Just sharing my personal opinion.

EDIT: I really like their notification system. Not only do they notify us about recent logins and things related to security, but they also give out various news, like the one I got today about the new update for their iOS app. They also have 2 notification bots which is impressive!

There is an option to not require two-factor protection for a month if the login is on the same device, this is a good option because you do not have to enter two-factor protection every time.

As for the session time, in my opinion, it is better not to be long in order to increase security, especially on devices that use Windows because they can be easily hacked through open sessions in the browser. It is true that logging in every time is annoying, but it is better for security.

But why is the session time so short? I mean it could be a couple of days. If I'm not mistaken, I logged in yesterday (16 Nov 2024, 10:08 PM), gave them the 2FA code. Later today, a couple of hours ago (17 Nov 2024, +- 10:00 AM), I tried to access their service, and they told me to log in again, it hasn't been 24 hours yet (didn't ask for 2FA though). I understand this may be for security purposes. But this frequent?

How often do you access Cryptomus in a day?

As far as I know, automatic logout within a certain period when the user is not using the application can be very useful for user account security.

From what I experienced when using the Cryptomus wallet, logging in takes a few seconds, including 2FA input.
So, for me, having to log in again within a certain time is not too much of a problem.

Actually, not that often. Maybe once a week or two.

Yes, that can be very useful. It looks like Cryptomus is dead serious when it comes to security and won't compromise anything, which is a good thing.

I don't mind that either. It's just different from other platforms. I would say it's unique, a clever way to avoid the risk of being hacked. I haven't noticed any platform where the session time is this short.

For me I don't have a problem logging in every time because it's more secure, but in general the security measures vary depending on each wallet or exchange, but since this is a wallet that only sends and receives money, you don't need long sessions.

I mean you usually open the wallet and check the balance or send and receive a transaction, so you don't need to leave the wallet open for a long time like exchanges for example where you have to monitor prices and charts for long periods.

Hi,

Fellows, anyone tried the P2P service on the Cryptomus...

I'm not sure about it as I haven't tried this frequently.

Hi,

Fellows, anyone tried the P2P service on the Cryptomus...

Yes, I tried to sell my BTC directly through their P2P service, but unfortunately there weren't any merchants available from my region (yet). As you can see below, the list of offers is empty. All the other payment options like PayPal, Wise, CashApp, Zelle, and Venmo, which are available at Cryptomus, and have offers, aren't supported in my region. Bad luck I guess. That's why I had to transfer my BTC to a DEX in order to sell them. I hope with time more merchant will be available for my region. Maybe I could have go for bank transfer (not sure if it supports), but I didn't wanna expose my identity...

That's also a good idea but with the adjustment that they did, I already liked it.

From what I experienced when using the Cryptomus wallet, logging in takes a few seconds, including 2FA input.
So, for me, having to log in again within a certain time is not too much of a problem.
And with the device being remembered upon logging, it's easier because you can easily log in if going with additional input of 2FA is hassle for a user although it's better to have that for security measures.

Does anyone know how the commission fees are calculated here? Are they set according to network congestion or any other factors? I had about $25 in BTC on my Cryptomus wallet from the sig, and I had to pay around $4 in commission fees only (at the time of the transaction).

I just checked what the current commission fee is by inputting the same amount, and it was a bit lower than yours, mine was 0.00003082 BTC. I think it's named as a commission fee only it's not like cryptomus is taking any kind of commission from here because I checked their tarffs site, and I also asked the team they said we charge 0% commission on withdrawals.

The fee we are seeing is not imposed by the cryptomus, but it's the network fee. You can check more here -->https://cryptomus.com/tariffs So, it's means we are only paying a network fee and that we already know depends on which factors.

I'm not sure whether it's just the network fee or  commission + network fee. Even if it's just the network fee, it shouldn't be that high! Right?

To clear things up, let me explain a bit. You saw my previous post where it was approximately +-$4 fee for a $25 withdrawal? On the same day, I withdrew from another address in a different wallet, and it only cost around +-$1.25 in fees. Does that make sense? If I'm remembering correct, both transactions were done on the same day!

Just look at these below, there were taken just now! I haven't checked the mempool yet, not sure whether the network is congested or not!

They may have a fixed network fee, which is a pretty bad practice. This is the policy used by all traditional exchange platforms (lately, it has become part of the way of doing business with mixers as well). I am not sure if the reason is the additional complication with implementation during the development of the service or if it is just an excuse for an additional bonus during withdrawal and an indirect way to stimulate users to hold coins with them.

I don't think that's the case. I contacted their support regarding this. Asked them why the commission fee was this high! They said it was dynamic and it depends on the network not their service. But still I think it's pretty high. Not always though, I remember at first the commission was like 5$ and later after like 15-20 minutes it went to 2.5-3$. This is what I got from them!
