how to put rbf on ?

i installed electrum wallet for rbf , i saw a tutorial of how to enable it , in every video they click on preference and they have a transaction tab where they can choose to activate rbf or not

why when i go in preference it don't show me the transaction tab ? how im supposed to activate rbf then

It is already opt-in as default

If you install electrum wallet and the transaction was broadcasted from the wallet, the transaction is already RBF because since the latest version of the wallet the feature is on default. So you don’t need to activate any RBF just make your transaction.

But if the transaction has been broadcasted from another wallet without RBF enabled and you import the wallet into electrum there is no way to turn a non RBF transaction to a RBF transaction. But can still double spend the said transaction since most nodes now are full RBF enabled.

Zaguru12 is right. If you make a transaction on Electrum, the transaction will support RBF. But not on the latest version but since version 4.4.0 or so which was released on April 18, 2023. It was released not long after full RBF was implemented.

But if the transaction has been broadcasted from another wallet without RBF enabled and you import the wallet into electrum there is no way to turn a non RBF transaction to a RBF transaction. But can still double spend the said transaction since most nodes now are full RBF enabled.

If it is noncustodial wallet, I do not know why people still use such outdated wallets. Many bitcoin wallet are having the RBF features.

RBF is opt-in and turn on with default settings in latest version of Electrum wallet. You don't need to turn it on (activate it) because the software does it for you but if you're careful, you can check that option and see it is ON or OFF.

Issues with RBF no longer being toggleable since Electrum 4.4 version.
Set the RBF flat to all transactions, and remove the 'use_rbf'

In Preference, there is no information on RBF but you can check it with your transaction.

You can try to send your bitcoin in a wallet from one address to another address that are all your addresses. Click Pay, then Preview, you will see Replace by Fee: True.
True means your transaction is RBF and you can Bump Fee later.

Why do you watch outdated video tutorials when you could inform yourself from official sources like the Electrum documentation?
Highlights are by me in below cited text portions.

• Increase the transaction fee. This is only possible for “replaceable” transactions. Electrum creates replaceable transactions by default, except for lightning channel open/close transactions. Transactions that are replaceable have “Replace by fee: True” in the transaction details screen. To increase the fee of a replaceable transaction right click on its entry on the history tab and choose “Increase Fee”. Set an appropriate fee and click on “OK”. A window will popup with the unsigned transaction. Click on “Sign” and then “Broadcast”.
  

The (excellent) unofficial guide which is mentioned on https://www.electrum.org/#documentation also clearly tells you that RBF is on by default:

Replace by fee is enabled by default for all transactions so that you can low ball the fee initially and bump it later on if you need to.

Not the OP, but it's probably Youtube and that's how Google recommend videos when a user search for guides.
"The highly-viewed/liked videos are better", their search engine thinks.

With that, a noob's gonna be noob to search "easy-to-follow" videos than research from official and reputable guides.

(I doubt that he even read the posts in this thread based from his last login date, maybe the first two replies since it already answered his query)

You said that you just installed Electrum. I am assuming you didn't receive or send any transactions and went straight to searching for the RBF feature. If you had created a transaction that is still unconfirmed, you would see it in your history tab. From there, you just right-click on it and select "increase fee". Enter a higher fee rate (based on Mempool.space, for example) and broadcast your new transaction. The nodes should then pick this new transaction up and get rid of the old one in their memory pools.
