The point is, will Ukraine ban the Christian religion? If that is what their goal is, they will ultimately fail for sure. If this is simply an outward change in names and the structure of it, okay.

Politics, War, and Religion are siblings anyway, so no surprise at all. All are born or thrive on blood and the suffering of the less privileged and vulnerable, so I couldn't care about them banning a religion or, not.

Would you also not care if they were to ban atheism? You're comment is unclear.

Most people don't understand that atheism is a religion of non-religion.

The Israel of today is not the Ancient Israel of God from before the Babylonian captivity. And it certainly isn't the Israel of God at the time of Jesus. Why not? Because they rejected God, and the last time they did it - by rejecting Jesus - God made it almost permanent... in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem.

Only if the people of Israel humbly accept Jesus will God possibly make them part of His people again. Meanwhile, anybody else who accepts Jesus as their Savior is accepted into the TRUE and REAL Israel of God, the Heavenly Israel.

The belief that you are an Israeli when you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is according to the Christian faith. The Jew or those who practice Judaism will dispute this claim because they don't believe in the New Testament.

Your comment is unclear. Are no churches being banned in your opinion in Ukraine? Are only headlines spun to your specific bias considered "correct"? It seems to me like you are saying because the huge truth wasn't suppressed like you think it should be, the headline is incorrect. You are burying the fact that Ukraine is banning one or more churches in your headline. If a headline is biased, is it then also incorrect?

The Russian Orthodox Church reported on 25 June that the 75-year-old metropolitan had been released on 22 June "at the request of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus, as a result of negotiations".

Yeah... sure "past associations" my ass. There is a whole espionage network based on the Ruzzian Orthodox church and it is not only in Ukraine and that is not the past at all. There is no ban on religion, there is a ban on an institution that is immorally working for the Kremlin.

You made it sounds like governments laws are all invalid, so your comment isn't the slightest bit clear, because nobody would expect someone could be so evil as to ban all religions except for your own atheistic faith. It seems you have become what you hate...  a Theocrat. Only Communism has been known to want to ban religions to ensure the All-Powerful All-Knowing Government receives all prayers, all offerings, and controls all sacraments for itself. I can't imagine your shock when you compare the death toll by the "precious" religion-banning (except atheism) Communists Stalin and Mao to that of religion. And that is just Communism alone. American hospitals are controlled by government thru government funding. There was a time when there essentially weren't any hospitals other than church hospitals. Don't ban the hospitals. Ban the government control of them, so that there is honesty within them. From personal experience, I assure you that the hospitals are criminal, by being Big Pharma controlled thru government and government funding.

For example. We have the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration. What do food and drugs have to do with each other, except that Government is trying to control food as well as drugs? And it is really Big Pharma behind it all. We can see this, because even though the FDA says that they test 'stuff', most of the time they don't. We know because they can't come up with copies of their tests that make any sense, even when FOIA's are done on them.

I appreciate the clarifications. I am not so much hurt by religions not being as pure as I think they are, but rather am hurt by the distractions from spirituality that are in the world. The world has a need for spirituality but it seems most people have shifted away from that with an increase in prosperity that has come with technology. When people ignore spirituality, they are void of character and personal development, or worse yet adopt government as a religion, which is itself separated from spirituality by design in a sense in most places.

We have a very rapid technological development in our lives, and the technological pace must be matched by the same pace of spiritual development for a harmonious future.

Another interesting point. Read John chapter 6 in the Bible... especially the latter parts, where Jesus says that people need to eat His flesh and drink His blood to be saved - https://biblehub.com/niv/john/6.htm. Then read the little bit He says at John 6:63: "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life."

The people though that Jesus meant to literally eat His body and drink His blood. But He explained to those willing to listen that the words He said were Spirit and life.
