Hi guys!

You may know Little Mouse, a campaign manager and local member of the Bangladesh community. I want to tell you that Little Mouse has been out of contact for more than 68 hours now.

There was a massive flood in the countryside of Bangladesh, and more than 15 million people were affected by the flood. India opened the DAMs on 19th August at midnight without any warning while people were sleeping. As far as I know, Little Mouse lives in a country area, and I assume the first strike of the flood water affected him.

I sent him a private message on Telegram on 20th August, but he hasn't seen it yet. I thought it was normal. But today, I tried to contact him via phone, and only then did I realize his phone was switched off. I assume there is no electricity and internet in his area. I don't even know his real name. I only had his mobile number, which he used to contact me for mobile recharge and banking. I do not know the specific location of where he lives. But I only know the district name. Unfortunately, I am unable to help him

I hope he returns safe in forum and everything is fine with him, but I don't know exact day when floods happened in his country and I see last time he was online on August 19.
With so many people affected by floods there must be other forum member from that region that might be offline also.

The last time I read about him when I check his profile was he is having a hard time with internet connection due to the issue with the government limiting internet connection to the public but this post made exactly 1 month by the time he went offline so I don’t know if this issue is still related or not.

Spreadsheet has been updated but due to poor internet access, I can't process the payment. Feel free to have a look on what's going on here in Bangladesh. We have been off internet access since last night. Many students have been killed by police. Students were protesting against a poor quota system which only benefits a small group of people in govt job.

I'll try to find an alternative solution for paying you.

I also read the news that many residents were affected on the roof of the house to save themselves because of the massive floods that hit Bangladesh due to neck-deep floods.

It's sad to see a natural disaster take people unaware, not even any sign or warnings to residents of Bangladesh but I don't know why India could do such a thing without official warnings to the Bangladesh government. This are some of the things that causes conflict between two countries because 15 million people being affected by a massive flooding really means there is no way some casualties will not be recorded obviously.

My prayers are with Little Mouse and his family as anyone can become a victim of an untold circumstance just like this one and I hope his friends, well wishers and his campaign participants working under his management extends sympathy to him and hope they hear from him soon.

Wish Little Mouse and his family always be saved due bad situation in his country exactly issues about internet shut down and make difficult for Bangladesh citizen.

Seems bit difference when checking between his bitcointalk account last active on August 19, 2024 but with his telegram account August 20, but its not normal for him manage many campaign not active almost three consecutives days and wish nothing bad happen to him.

Hope Little Mouse can return back to forum as soon possible and inform us about his and family condition are good.

Hope he get back safely and soon, the best advice for anyone leaving in flood prone area is to relocate ASAP because flood is a bad disaster that doesn't give someone notice.

Little Mouse should be fine any where he is, I am sure the Internet cables and mass are over runned by the flood and until he fine a relocation he may not be able to access the forum, since his last post already stated the flood issues.

I suddenly search for the news about this. Hopefully, the country isn't going to be that affected. Most probably it's just the internet that prevents him from going online.  This happens in my area when rain is heavy and then comes back after a few hours. There's a flood in the country, maybe electricity is cut for a moment.

If India released the water in an emergency, then there must have been floods in certain areas in India as well. Water from the Himalayan mountains is flashing. Hope Little Mouse is fine.

I also know @Little M well here and I've also communicated with him a few things in the past, he's a good guy as far as I know, I hope he keeps some things sacred about forums/assets elsewhere, who may not have been affected by the flood, it will take several days for the flood conditions to be normal, because he cannot be contacted, so there is a bit of an obstacle for us here, whether he avoided the flood or vice versa, I hope he is fine and can visit this forum again, that way we can find out his condition.

condolences for the flood disaster that hit Bangladesh. Hopefully Little Mouse and maybe forum members who are from there are safe. I haven't looked for further information, but hopefully, there are no high fatalities. The paralysis of road access to each district must be very troublesome. Plus, with electricity and internet, the residents must be in great pain.

We can only pray for his safety, believing he and his family are fine wherever they are. The people of Bangladesh are in our thoughts and prayers. God will send help to them in this trial time they are in as a country when properties and people are displaced far from their homes because of flooding.

May Allah protect  (Little Mouse) from all kinds of dangers and calamities. The sudden flood water from India inundated several districts of Bangladesh and it happened so fast that sleeping people did not have time to go to safe places.
Hundreds of families and millions of people are at risk of flooding and are unable to get boats or vehicles to safety.  In such a situation, they have no system to carry out quick rescue operations.
Electricity pole and mobile phone internet connection has been completely cut off due to flood water and there is no system to contact them. The people of some districts in Bangladesh are in danger at the moment and various government agencies are trying their best to rescue them but the rescue work has not been completed so far.
Cattle, poultry, houses, crops are all washed away and destroyed by flood water.  There is no system to move them to a safe place.  Generally speaking, the flooded areas in Bangladesh are in a very dangerous and dangerous position at the moment.  Experts believe that many people may lose their lives if they are not rescued as usual.

There are reports of floods in many countries due to high rainfall. In my country, seventeen people lost their lives, and thousands were displaced because of flood disasters. I read that two people have died in Bangladesh while more victims have been recorded in India. I saw on the television how people had to climb out of the roof of their buildings while others had to use locally made floatable materials to escape this scary condition. The government and international organizations should offer the needed assistance because these victims need lots of assistance. I just hope Littlemouse and his family are safe.

I have seen my fair share of devastating massive floods here in my country so I know how bad it can get really fast. I really hope they are doing okay and were able to evacuate and is now safe before it got bad.

We cannot blame India for this. I am sure the decision to open the DAM gates was coordinated beforehand. It must have been because the water level had risen beyond the safe limit. India was also a victim of this disaster. However, there needs to be coordination between the two countries that share many rivers to deal with disasters that may come every season. Both countries should work together to overcome this and rescue the victims immediately.

I read this news a while ago and I discovered the fact that some areas of Bangladesh are actually zones that are frequently affected by flooding. This is not the first time Bangladesh has experienced a flood disaster, but several months or last year the country also experienced the same disaster. Of course there are concerns about how the lives of residents affected by the flood will live, but here I can only help pray that everyone is given safety and anyone affected will be handled as well as possible.

Men I don’t even know what to say - I remember being traumatized when I found out that I moved to a water logged area during the rainy season because I moved there when it was sunny season and an event occurred that even caused all the houses to be flooded with water - I mean just from rain that lasted more than usual now think of what will happen to those that are experiencing real flood?

I just hope he’s fine and also that he’s able to make enough money to move to the side of the country that isn’t affected as much as his current location - staying in location like that is really life threatening because you don’t know when something like this will happen again or if it’ll come in bigger size.

Recently in news i read Muslims raped and killed hindu girl in bangladesh.

And what's up with the person holding private clothes of Sheikh Hasina.

Both countries should work together to overcome this and rescue the victims immediately.

I don't think India will work with Bangladesh anymore at the core can't say about the superficial collaboration.
