I disagree though, they have has been the plan before, to stick with dollar and the old traditional way. And so this is going to be challenge in any way shape or form. And so far we have seen crypto has been challenging the status quo.

Lots of people proclaim they can see the future but nothing you've mentioned is original compared to anything people were saying on this forum a couple years ago. We are in the midst of a swing from elevated interest rates to lower interest rates and everyone is trying to figure out how that will change the world. It's going to give mortgage owners extra spending power which could counteract other negative issues in the quantity, but effectively the only winners from high interest rates at the moment are banks - so we could be re-entering an era of boom, provided the economy does not implode too quickly. It's a very fine balancing act and central banks act like they are the experts but they are often reactive instead of proactive because their forecasting is often a guessing game.
