I can run a 24/7 node, but I need current source code. The one on github compiles, but stalls when syncing. I wonder if the original dev could be prodded to release his copy of the source?

Yes but it's not only about the full node as there are still 2 running. It seems as if there is no miner on the network. Latest block height is 166742 generated 2 days ago. Now network stake weight is only 16 which is extremely low

From the gihub comments: https://github.com/kashmircoin/kashmircoin/commits/master

The latest code changes I can see was v1.0.8. After that, there were only binary updates

https://github.com/kashmircoin/kashmircoin/tree/master/release

Can you run Mac or Windows binary? These binaries should also contain blockchain data so that you don't need to sync from scratch

I admire how you all are pressing on. I always knew this community was strong.

I collect and trade rare and lost cryptocurrencies and blockchains.
Prefer fair launch/no premine, pre-2014 coins.

You are the richest guy around, that I know of, in KSC :-D

Hahahah yes that i am Grin Grin
I'm pretty busy with exams this month , i can do a bounty program or giveaway in May , But i think that's not good idea as i remember of last time i did it , people started dumping it on swisscex little by little , we don't need dumping .

V1.1.0.0

thanks i just launched its syncing

When I synced a few weeks back it would stick from time to time
The V1.1.0.0 should have a bootstrap to get you started.

I'm on block 166783 found 05:28:07 Tues April 14th

Looks like everybody needs to stop sending funds and staking for the moment, unless it's an emergency.
The blockchain is at a crawl right now.....

A week or 2 ago it was moving along at 1 block every 5 minutes or so.....
I just don't get it.

Yes it has been stuck for me at 166783 too

Yes it has been stuck for me at 166783 too

i am now also stuck on 166783, I received 25 transactions of mine/staked on 4/14/2015. but all's status conflicted

same message for everyone transaction

"Status: conflicted, broadcast through 3 nodes
Date: 4/14/2015 02:27
Source: Generated
Debit: 0.00 KSC
Transaction ID: 3ddd0ea9a724bcc0d02c1b95d4e495e4bdfd0617d59420599dfa8a81c141ebee

Generated coins must mature 30 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours." Huh?

  why

One thing that might help us in getting the blockchain running again - maybe

Is to go into your router and/or modem and make sure that you have port: 10011 (OPEN)
You can check your system here : http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

This is also a requirement of a NODE

If you need help - just ask

I'll see what else I can figure out

THX
Mangled Blue

am still stuck on #166783
And for me it shows port 10011 closed , how do i open it ?

Whelp I think we can all agree we're stuck on the same block - so

to open port 10011
you need to have access to the firewall and/or router/modem
Go into PORT FORWARDING and open port 10011 to the world

When that website says port open - let me know so we can see if it helps
I am repairing a couple computers so my wallet is current off-line due to only having one charger for 3 computers
I'll get back online with the wallet winth the next 24 hours so that should give you guys enough time to port open 10011

thx

I might try to make a new download with a new bootstrap for people to download - makes life easier on install
lots ta do - ugh

Can you please explain this port opening thing is a little simple language . :-|
