I agree with OP, there's no need to look for a better or more profitable coin. Bitcoin is one of the best possible investments, bet wealth allocation, best way to avoid inflation, best way to remain private.
I watched a video where a a guy explained how he was robbed. He did not trust banks so he held money, guns and silver at home and they came in, broke into his safe and stole everything. It's not that easy when you hold bitcoin.

If you "prefer Bitcoin not merely for its value" but you're "drawn to Bitcoin for the security, freedom, and privacy it offers", then you prefer Bitcoin for its value. Bitcoin's value comes from them. Without them, Bitcoin doesn't have any value at all.

But you must not confuse value with price. Price is more or less arbitrary. It is what others are willing to pay for something. But value is more or less fundamental. Bitcoin offers freedom. That's the value of Bitcoin, not the $59,000 price it has today.

At first I was confused about understanding your post, but in the end I can say that I agree with you. Value and price are not the same, value reflects the usability and functionality of bitcoin, but price is the final agreement between sellers and buyers for bitcoin. People prefer price over value, of course because bitcoin has so far been generally considered the most profitable asset rather than just its usefulness as a currency.

Since the price of Bitcoin controls other coins in the market, I think that is not enough reason for us to jump on Bitcoin because the price is always volatile in case one could be new in the market. I have seen so newbies writing and posting how the like Bitcoin and would always invest in it when they might not even have a single Bitcoin holding.

Well, security and privacy are the topmost concerns in crypto. Bitcoin is widely capable for that but provided also that you do your part and become a responsible investor. Otherwise, if you solely rely on the system,  you can never secure your account 100%.

It’s actually not really easy especially in the kind of world we live in. Of course there are ways to remain anonymous but the world is very data driven and our information get leaked every day in multiple platforms if we are not careful with it. If you submit your information to just one platform, you wouldn’t even know that they have used or sold it to other websites. It takes time and effort to make sure your information is safe and secure.

Several years ago, it's true that many thought it that Bitcoin was just another tool to do these illegal activities and the currency of the dark market places but no longer today. I will try to explain why there is so much trust in Bitcoin with several issues. My country's banking system is shaky, especially on political issues, my country's banking system is suffering from insecurity. As a result, if you keep money in the bank, there is no guarantee of getting that money back, so if you invest in Bitcoin, that investment is entirely mine, and there is no third party control system. I've never seen Bitcoin users being called "drug dealers".

The mainstream media did its best to try and convey Bitcoin as a currency used only by criminals for criminal activities back when Bitcoin was newly gaining traction but they failed miserably. However, some influencers, media persons, and governments are still trying to achieve this by trying to make a negative image of Bitcoin but people now understand things much better than they used to some years back.

I don't have such long-term mindset. 5-10 years seems a lot to me. I don't know that will happen to the Bitcoin/crypto world after 5 or 10 years.
My plan is to wait for the next big bull run(probably 2025) and sell most of my BTC. I don't have any plans afterwards.

What needs to be remembered we live in a rule of law and in it there are rules regarding tax that regulates or so forth. If we do not want to follow the system then use or save the money in conditions that are not known by the state so that income does not need to be paid taxes. Submitting money to the government in the case that I understand we pay income tax or save it in the bank and if that's the problem you might need to find alternatives. So far we have not really been able to fight the rule of law in a country because even though we have a lot of money will not make us win.

Bitcoin is anonymous when we are not involved as parties who provide identity when registering on the Exchange or so on and the level of security is quite dependent on how a person can keep the asset safer. Some people talk about bitcoin but do not try to demonstrate that they are interested in investing, but it is important to let others know that bitcoin is real. That is what I don't like about telling people nowadays what to do especially in personal talks. You'll be blamed for whatever the result of what you've told them in good faith. While still, through the forum, I keep on telling people to buy Bitcoin before any altcoin that they wish to have. But it's really a matter of personal reference and knowledge about the investments that we're holding. Not everyone can literally hold on how we have held Bitcoin.

And even all of the explanations about why it is a good choice with all of the feats that it has. Someone can just ignore and disagree about it if they don't think that they're convinced about what you've told them about it. Aside from being the future, the profitability of it really speaks for the whole matter about Bitcoin. There is really no point imposing how we see and feel about bitcoin on other people. While bitcoin may seem like the real deal to us, it might not really be an option to many others. Everyone with their preferences. It is very common to see most bitcoin enthusiasts exaggerating the benefits of bitcoin just to prove that that bitcoin is the stronger cryptocurrency.
