Crypto crowdfund or investment platforms

Greetings all.

I've been working on some business ideas and since the final product would have crypto payment gateway, me and my business partners were thinking of "why not asking crypto people to invest on our project". Anyway, we discontinued that project and it is not under development anymore, but I'm wondering that is there any place to ask people to invest on your projects in form of crypto?
I know it is a little risky (To my understanding, the risk factor in crypto market is always higher than usual) but I also thought it could be a good idea to make a community of Business partners instead of VC's or angel investors who usually can get very very annoying in the process of investment.

Also, I want to know what successful projects bootstrapped or funded by crypto communities (ofc I don't mean those dark web projects 😂).

Maybe much more than a "little". This is why I'm looking for a well-established firm/platform (like kickstarter) but with crypto payment option. In my local crypto scene, the amount of scam is crazy. You can't believe how many people are becoming victims everyday and since any crypto transaction inside our soul is banned (except for the exchange) police also doesn't give a damn about their cases.

You can still consider creating an ICO nowadays, but legal requisites are rapidly increasing in many countries, so it can still be a good option if you are serious and willing to invest your own money in your project first of all in order to comply.

For example, in a few months MiCA regulation will be effective in the European Union, which explains some steps needed to carry them out legally. For example:

Content and form of the crypto-asset white paper for e-money tokens

1.   A crypto-asset white paper for an e-money token shall contain all of the following information, as further specified in Annex III:
(a) information about the issuer of the e-money token;
(b) information about the e-money token;
(c) information about the offer to the public of the e-money token or its admission to trading;
(d) information on the rights and obligations attached to the e-money token;
(e) information on the underlying technology;
(f) information on the risks;
(g) information on the principal adverse impacts on the climate and other environment-related adverse impacts of the consensus mechanism used to issue the e-money token.

The crypto-asset white paper shall also include the identity of the person other than the issuer that offers the e-money token to the public or seeks its admission to trading pursuant to Article 48(1), second subparagraph, and the reason why that particular person offers that e-money token or seeks its admission to trading.

About the platforms themselves, there are many existing ones which list different ICOs, links to their whitepapers, etc. Just Google.

Bitcointalk isn't the place to ask for investments. People on this forum have seen or heard of all types of scams. As soon as someone starts asking for money, alarm bells in our heads start ringing. That doesn't mean you can't present your project here neatly and in a detailed manner. You never know, there might actually be people who see value in what you do, and they could be interested in investing.

If I were you, I would focus on building my reputation here first. Let people see your name. Participate in discussions so we can see how you think and operate.

I still have no idea what are regulations about ICO's in my country. Again, it may be considered "financial transaction with foreign currency" and it has a lot of complications. Although I remember from one of my favorite shows (HBO's Silicon Valley) they moved to an ICO after they turned down by the investors. It is something to consider.

Op is somewhat fast to accomplishing his purpose of being here. But I have a simple advice for the Op, "you must first be established and become somewhat reputable for you to glory here". It takes time, patience, sincerity and selflessness to be trusted. Once you are trusted, you can announce your idea and it will be readily supported by the community.

Actually, it's not just on Bitcointalk; it's everywhere. Trust is everything. Nobody will invest in your business if they don't trust you. Nobody likes being or feeling cheated, so even if they can give $5 to a random stranger, they will hate being scammed of $2.
I do not know if there is any platform where people invest in or crowdfund crypto-related projects but I can say for certain that if such a place exists, they won't be handing over cash to every tom dick and Harry like they're some Santa Clause.  They will give out money to people they trust.

Aside from the trust level, the project has to be unique. Expecting to be crowdfunded when you have a cliche project is lunacy because nobody will pay attention to you.

If thats a good project why not. But honestly you are in a wrong place to ask for funding or help since its a bitcoin discussion place. Well little bit of alts but they got a separate thread for that. Also if you want funding matters, check out on Google or search some VCs names and get their email and do some pitching there. Chances that some might response to you and ask to show what you got and maybe from there youll have something worth it.

3 words. Trust is King.

Unfortunately, you're a newbie account and newbie accounts asking for anything related to new projects, or asking for somebody to invest into their own platforms is somewhat scam-my to many people here. I've been in the forum for quite some time, and I've seen new projects that ended up as a rug pull because developers chose to abandon the project and in exchange, they got the money from different investors. I'm not saying though that asking for somebody here would guarantee your success in this "discontinued project" that you're saying, but the success rate is very low that you will be the one to quit asking it here.

If you will focus here, ICOs would be the best option. For sure, somebody shared it already, and you just need to make a research for it. There's many ways though outside of ICOs

It's harder to find people that will trust you and your vision that shall make them invest to your project and development. I'm not discouraging you but this isn't really the place for you to find people to fund your projects or inventions. We're no longer in the ICO days for which many were optimistic for every project that was being released weekly or even daily. Just go to those angel investors' communities and see if there will be some people willing to trust someone with their money that they don't know personally unless you're a company and in the stocks market, they'd invest on you.
