I hard a similar experience sometimes back with football bet also, when I placed the bet it was a live game and the odds was around the same odds that you mentioned, at as the game goes I bet in a team that was already leading the game with 1 goal and when I checked before I left the computer for a while when the game was like around 60 minutes, I was still winning, but , within a few seconds, I was chucked to see that the other team have equalise the goal and at that point I was left with zero Cash out available for me and I gave up on that bet and left the system.

So in conclusion, I still stand to say that the mood was not what excited you, but it was the winning odds that did.

Yeah I expected winnings are so exciting that it could make you go break dancing. Although I don't bet on sport often like I do on slots, I can tell you that the feeling can be compared to the one you get when you play your regular slot and have a win and when you play slot and have a multiplier. I don't have an expectations in any of my win because you never can tell which you will win and the one you will never win, they are just predictions no matter how I feel about it. However, there are some bet, like multiple bets I do monitor, there are instances I do have high hope on the last games and when they win, I get excited but not as compare to the ones I just bet and never check the whole games but I get surprised when I login to casino and get congratulations on my dashboard on first opening.

There is this particular bet I won that excited me that I never expected. In my personal case, I think unexpected wins are more exciting than expected ones or even "planned" ones. Well I don't see anything wrong in both unexpected and expected wins they are both exciting when one ascertain a win but mostly that feeling of not expecting to have won it's something so surprising and exciting to me and it keeps you at a State of happiness and fulfilment but on some occasion when you expect that you could win a jackpots wouldn't be as exciting as it is for the other.

That's true though, there is an excitement attached to an amount won unexpectedly. I could remember some time ago I played many games hoping to win but couldn't win a single bet I decided to stake multiple games with several prediction and relaxes and said to myself that if it happens to play "so be it" and if it doesn't as well "so be it" too. I was surprised to see 2 tickets won at ago and I was excited. So definitely there is excitement in unexpected win.

I don't think anybody gamblers without expecting to win. It will be preferable to spend money on other types of entertainment than to place bets on games you are not expecting to win. However, there are some cases, especially in sports bets, when you have lost hope of winning a bet. Maybe the team you placed a bet on is losing by a wide margin. Later, the team puts up a good performance and wins, making you win the bet. Such unexpected wins are more exciting. It's like recovering something you thought you had lost.

I think both still lead to an exciting situation, but if the question is like that then maybe I think getting an unexpected win can be much more exciting, because when you don't involve any expectations when you are running a session but it turns out that in the end a big win happens then of course it will be very surprising and make you have an extraordinary reaction because of the disbelief that you can get that big win.

I admit that the two wins above can provide pleasure for gamblers, but which one is the most enjoyable definitely depends on the gambler himself. I tend to be happier with unexpected wins like jackpots on slots, but the big wins I expect on sports betting are no less exciting.
