Unexpected wins vs expected wins, which excites the most?

I don't know how people have unexpected wins but personally I don't have unexpected win but I could decide to consider one an unexpected win but logically it's not unexpected.

when I win a bet, it's an expected win because their is no way you would have to stake some few cents and not expect a positive result even though most times it ends up in disappointment but we surely expected the win.  

I could say that the reason why you feel this way is because you don't play slot games a lot that have to do with your winnings depending on luck and not based on how you predict your games.
 
When you place your bet on wheel games where you can't determine what the outcome will be, how will you be sure that the game will be in your favour since you said you don't have any unexpected wins?

I don't think anybody gamblers without expecting to win. It will be preferable to spend money on other types of entertainment than to place bets on games you are not expecting to win. However, there are some cases, especially in sports bets, when you have lost hope of winning a bet. Maybe the team you placed a bet on is losing by a wide margin. Later, the team puts up a good performance and wins, making you win the bet. Such unexpected wins are more exciting. It's like recovering something you thought you had lost.

If I guess correctly, I think the instance that OP is trying to set here is when you have stake on some accumulator and at some point, you just lost hope that the game was not going to be successful because of how it is going already and after you have given up, you checked later and realized that you have actually won the bet. Although what you said is true, there's no gambler that wager some money without expecting to win, but what if you wager on the first go without expecting to win a jackpot but on your first try, you won millions of dollars from the jackpot, that will be surprising.

I admit that the two wins above can provide pleasure for gamblers, but which one is the most enjoyable definitely depends on the gambler himself. I tend to be happier with unexpected wins like jackpots on slots, but the big wins I expect on sports betting are no less exciting. It's all about feelings and how you respond to winning, the most important thing is that the main goal of gambling is not changed and it remains a fun game.

I can't tell how many rounds I've played but soon enough, my account balance that was below $5 was already $40+, this money was not near the amount i won from sports betting but I was overly excited, possibly because I never really expected to win this much.

I can attest that what you said is true -- I'd still say the same thing assuming I barely had an experience of what gambling looks like.... And what?? The odds are always against you, so you'll always feel like "heaven come down" when it cuts

Literally, anything gotten out of surprise, the excitement and joy is higher than the one you are already aware of or expecting and overall, most winnings in gambling comes unexpectedly. I have won several bets unexpectedly and I know the joy that comes along with it. For me there's is nothing like expected winning regardless of how sure you are about winning the bet. Only that has happened to me, and it is when I already have the last portion of money to spend on a game, let's say dice, I have lost almost 100% of my money willing to lose, and if I put the rest, in my mind it is normal to lose, I mean, what, the result of losing does not matter, but sometimes the opposite happens and one can recover what one lost before, even with a little more money, I think those profits are very exciting, in a soccer game, let's say the one between Madrid, where they were losing by 2 goals, in overtime they tied and then they won, that is super exciting.

Recently, I placed a bet on sports match, and somehow, I was very certain I was going to win it, the match started and at the end, I won my bet, odd was 1.4, not going to mention the amount I used for bet, but I won a good sum, i wasn't all that excited because it's a winning I had expected, in fact, I would have been more surprised if I hadn't won.

Then I remembered that some time ago, I was playing plinko with a random balance that was remaining on my account, I wasn't expecting any winnings, I just wanted to have fun and empty my balance, I set the risk level to "high" and was betting $0.1 on each ball that came down, I can't tell how many rounds I've played but soon enough, my account balance that was below $5 was already $40+, this money was not near the amount i won from sports betting but I was overly excited, possibly because I never really expected to win this much.

I think that placing expectations on unexpected wins is one of the signs of addiction, so it's more plausible to expect expected wins, as these can be more planned. It's true that even if the bets are made sensibly, we can still win or have an unexpected win.

But I only gamble to have fun and not expect to make a lot of money from it.

That's true though, there is an excitement attached to an amount won unexpectedly. I could remember some time ago I played many games hoping to win but couldn't win a single bet I decided to stake multiple games with several prediction and relaxes and said to myself that if it happens to play "so be it" and if it doesn't as well "so be it" too. I was surprised to see 2 tickets won at ago and I was excited. So definitely there is excitement in unexpected win.

But by the way, it is not advisable to put our hope on a  predicated running game, because If it happens not to play, such person may feel disappointed. It is better we always stake and remove our mind on it sothat when there is an unexpected win we become exited instead of becoming exited earlier and angry when lost later run.

Well from my experience of gambling, I think there is actually no time I do not expect to win but their is also that awareness that the lose is more higher in probability to occur because with gambling the results is more than expected wins so when the win does come it's so exciting because what that slim chance of the win actually came and sometimes the excited triggers more gambling habits making some gamblers think they can still replicate it and this makes them get into more shit.

Yes, I didn't understand if anyone knew about his win in advance. The joy of that victory is not so exciting. But a sudden unexpected win can make people so excited that they don't have the words to express it. The feeling is the same for unexpected wins and expected wins. I can only be excited when I get to win a huge win compared to small wins.

When you bet and expect a win and you win then you feel like you are better in gambling and it helps you to trust your instincts when selecting games to bet on. For me I just know every win in gambling excites  me because winning in gambling always come as a surprise.  Gambling is always unpredicted and when a win takes place it gives good joy that needs to be celebrated. I mean, it is a no brainer that unexpected wins are more exciting compared to the expected ones, but then again, the amount of the win matters(at least to me). for example, if I unexpectedly win but the amount is small, though I'd be surprised but I doub't I'll be excited, but if we compare an expected win with big amount and an unexpected win with huge amount I'd be more excited to the one I won unexpectedly.

The gambler who play the game with more emotion,Surely loss their funds.Because they mostly play the safe game,the risk in the gambling sometimes multiples your money.But playing safe game will make you to loss all your money.Because you never any risk in the game,the gambler will try to save their money again and again.The gambling with strategy may help you to make money in the gambling site.Because random betting will make you to lose funds mostly in the gambling site.

It's always like finding money forgotten in that coat you last wore last winter... any money that comes unexpectedly brings us great joy because it's like a gift we've received.

When someone wins and was already expecting this result, it probably happens for one of two reasons:

1. They bet with low risk, so the win is more guaranteed, but the profits are lower;

2. They bet a lot of money on it, and have already lost many times, so the win is like an "obligation" that should arrive sooner or later, so... even when it comes, the feeling is of "duty fulfilled" and nothing more than that.

This is where ignorance have placed its role, I never thought of other games that could be totally dependent on luck and never going to expect what you get just like, slot, spinning the wheel and other games you can play on online casinos. I accept my ignorance and it's true that one may not expect what will be the result of some bets that one stakes on but just as I admitted earlier I always get happier if I win a bet that I was hoping only for the best but expecting the worst results.

I think the reason why an unexpected win can be exciting than the expected is just the word "unexpected" , the thing is If a game is expected to be a win then you will already have it in mind that you already win it somehow,it's psychological...and the main reason it pains more when you loose those kinds of bets. Unlike unexpected wins, you actually won't have it in mind or expecting expecting  a win (but you know you placed a bet ) that's  why it feels like you've won free/extra money when you win these kinds of bets
