Let’s keep it civil... Well, to be honest, I’m not really into airdrops anymore because, based on my experience, they’re just a waste of time. I’m not a veteran, but back in the early days of crypto, especially during the 2017 bull run when altcoins skyrocketed, that was when I could say it was easy money. I mean literally, easy money. Almost every investment back then had some value through airdrops. But sadly, most of those projects don’t even exist today.

There’s a bit of guilt too because we made money from airdrops or even bounties, but a lot of people lost out back then due to the lack of proper education about crypto investing. After all, it’s impossible for everyone to win — of course, some are bound to lose.

Few airdrops are good to join you will get paid in coins or sometimes in usdt, most of the time airdrops will not make you millionaires or billionaires but airdrops can give you amounts you can use to invest in other memcoins. Usually airdrop payouts are low but you can join to get free coins without zero investment as from dogs people get 40-110$ worth of dogs coin.

There is drought of good airdrops, that's what I think. Recent clicking games airdrop trend is not worth as much as retrospective airdrops trend, in which there usually use to be a good pay.

I have seen some of my friends' airdrop enthusiasm growing, especially dogs and hamsters. They have gotten some decent rewards and I feel like they are spending a lot of time on airdrops. Personally, airdrops don't seem to fit into my free time outside of my day job. However, I will consider following their recommendations for some campaigns. Looks a little similar to the airdrop movement in 2017

Back then, you only had to give your address to receive tokens and get airdrop that has good value, while right now you have to click buttons like no tomorrow (I'm sure auto clickers must be there, let's not count those) to receive something.

Effort is involved here and results are not guaranteed which makes me say, it's not that similar to 2017.

I did catizen in my free time and qualified enough for the airdrop but only gut two freakin catizen . not really regretting it because I don't spend as much time as other people but i've seen in telegram many people are complaining about their account already at level of 200+ and got peanuts.

turn out game fi was never about the community but just a tool for the dev to drain people out of their money, wonder whether those people who spend money for catizen make break even.

Airdrop are for patient investors because a real investor wouldn't engaged time waiting for a project that have 50/50 chances of exploring to the moon or liquidating as failed project. We should always be proactive in the space because there are presence of heavy losses targeted to our very existence in the space. The community of Catizen have growned massively and enabling us to watch the recent developments of the project. There are vast majority of airdrops in the space, so we ought to be careful with the space. It's a long run for investors who anticipated in these airdrops. Airdrops are under 50/50 probability of breaking out in the system.

Remember when the name Ripple was bought from a grass-roots community-currency type development, maybe the same one that is now known as villages.io?

To convince bitcointalk forum users to fire up their newfangled new version of Ripple they had a giveway, just post your Ripple address and their bot would read it from the thread, check you had not already been given some, and drop you 50,000 XRP?

Were you among those who gained when the bot glitched and they had to re-start it, resulting in some participants who already got 50k XRP being given another 50k?

It was years of course before the 2017-2018 bull market drove XRP up to about $5 Canadian, but during the years between the launch airdrop and then even when XRP had gotten onto exchanges it had only been going for maybe half a cent or less American, usually less that a cent anyway, so no point in bothering to sell any up until 2017-2018...

Stellar was much less lucrative, even during the 2017-2018 peaks. Which is maybe good since I retained a lot of it which really helped a lot with building buy-side offers for the Galactic Milieu's assets on Stellar.

If nowadays making people do a whole bunch of work for a long span of time counts as an airdrop, I suppose I could claim that you can get an airdrop of any Galactic Milieu asset simply by firing up a Crossfire RPG client, connecting to CrossCiv.Knotwork.com crossciv server with it, and earning its in-game currency for as long as you find you need to to earn entire "amberium" coins which you can then trade on the Stellar platform for any other Galactic Milieu asset on Stellar...

The most in-demand and trending airdrops these days are running on Telegram. The number of projects on Telegram Open Network is increasing day by day, there are too many mini-bots doing airdrops right now. Though I wouldn't recommend all of them I think some of them can be useful sometimes if the project is good. I had joined the DOGS project but I wasn't expecting a TGE so early, and to be honest, based on the amount of time we had to spend on it which was very minimal, what we got from that airdrop was more than enough.

There are some more projects having TGEs this month including Hamster Kombat and Catizen. Hamster is even set to launch in Binance Launchpool which is a positive sign for the project because Binance is the biggest centralized exchange in the industry right now and that can help the token get a good pump.

People should be able to think logically, such a project can be obtained for free and many users get it, I never agree with such a project can have a good future, the first thing that benefits is the people who have a lot of community so the distribution is not fair because everyone has different influence and also such a project sometimes never filters fake users that's why every coin like this eventually doesn't last long and only many people throw it away to get money, so I think such a project is not expected to be a source of income like in the previous bounty on this forum, but unfortunately that also died, now people are screaming that it's a scam while they have the choice not to play it no one is forcing them to play so why are they complaining too. kinda weird

Most of the airdrops that are coming out now, especially on Telegram, I can also say that they are really a waste of time, although there are still a few that can be said to actually give, so most of them still do not really meet the expectations of those who participate in the they still have airdrops made.

Participating in airdrops in these times is like looking for gold digitally. This is real talk I'm talking about because out of thousands of tap mining games that have benefited telegram Notcoin, Dogs, cats, and CATI incoming, it can only be said we actually gave airdrops. That's why I don't spend too much time on that; 10 minutes is already a long time. I spent one day there, and that's just a few days. But I'm only doing it now because of the bull run.

I'm not sure this amount you got is reasonable. The total supply is 1 billion, and I've not seen any reasonable partnership with them so far. Although that might not really affect them if they've got strong investors. I also mine some and I was given 28. I expect the price to be $0.03 - $1. And I'm also disappointed.

I don't blame new projects because they are just trying to avoid giving piece of pie to farmers, even though measures may look extreme. In case of LayerZero, donations were sent to Ethereum's protocol guild and it made sense to donate since your airdrop was worth a lot more than donation amount.

During times of OP, ARB and prior there were less farming, less diluted, more the reward.

Yes, most of the time we can see that airdrops are not really a real investment. It is more of a form of excitement and surprise. I have participated in some airdrops on telegram recently and my feeling is that it is like a trend, there are projects that tokennomic has never been announced before in some way. I seem quite surprised but the way telegram is used and participated is very interesting. Even binance has launched their moonbix on telegram. It shows a pretty good transition towards telegram and Ton.

Yeah, owners of the farms of accounts are always in profit, always. They were even better in the old days, but now it has become a bit harder to work with the projects, so to speak, lots of stuff should be done in order for most of the accounts to be eligible.
The strategy adapts to the market, and face verification seems interesting to get people like that out of the picture

If we assume that they pay only $100 per user, they should pay about $8,000,000,000 in airdrops to users. I got about $30 from Hamster and only $2 from Gamee and Rocky. Is this amount worth it to ruin your own career?
