Failed Transaction Revert in USDT trc20 problem

Hey guys.
Is first time I see this problem.

A friend did this transaction

( before he did one more bigger amount )

the amount from ledger shown as pending until yesterday ( but not shown today in ledger history ( pc or mobile both ) . As you see in transfer status said " Failed -Transaction Revert> "

the amount never reverted back to ledger device.

Anyone has the same problem again ? I search in google etc happened to a lot of users but I don't find answers.

From ledger they told me 24 hours after the failed ( because our trx address has not full energy and bandwith to complete this transfer of this amount ) or reverted note normally need the funds to be back to my wallet. ( they suggest to stake some tron coins via official staking trx for have more energy and bandwith which we did it yesterday, then after failed transaction. )

Any suggestion will be helpful.

I didn't dig into the account on tronscan, does it show the USDT in the account there?
If so it's the way ledger is displaying it there should be a way to rescan / refresh what is being shown. (I don't use ledger products)

If it's not showing in tronscan then it's something else.

the transaction is not shown last day inside ledger but and in tronscan if you see is said reverted but until now the coins my friend don't get it back in his tron account and receiver don't get it too.... is like stuck in the middle....

As the Ledger representative said, it will take about 24 hours. 24 hours already passed. I guess that you're done waiting for that period and still nothing has happened.

This is weird and the first time of saw it happening when he's loaded with TRXs for the fee.

I see a quote on that address that the TRON network itself suspects several transactions are a malicious attack. Maybe it has something to do with that?

This transaction is tagged by the platform as suspected fraud or spam. Therefore, please be cautious if you want to transfer your assets to addresses in the transaction.

What is funny is that other explorers are showing a different receiving address from the same transaction ID. Is there any chance that you were transfering the coins to a smart contract like addresses

The transaction seems created 2 days ago and the transaction is not reverted yet?

It seems it was already reverted back to the sender's address try asking your friend if he is the sender he should be able to see USDT on his wallet.

My transactions in a dapps / sending tokens usually fail when gas / fees suddenly skyrocket in a chain and it causes validation to fail, I have experienced a bridge on the mantle network in explorer validation fails in explorer similar, and when I checked it was still intact because there were several wallets that give minimum crypto assets that cannot be spent (transaction/send).

As long as the address is not wrong (to an unknown address / wallet burn) I think it will be returned by the block chain, because of its decentralised nature. will be returned by the block chain, because of its decentralised nature.

I think if you complain to the developer, the full transaction action is borne by the user, hopefully the asset can be returned and can be useful. by the user, hopefully the asset can return again and can be useful come back.

As you see this address is just a bot with similar address of a friend who try and follow all these transactions and sent some trx ( I think he waiting for someone from wrong move transfer usdt or trx haha ) i found and watch a lot of these zombie addresses ( I don't know how they make the first and last letters same like 70% clone address to try to spoof and cheat )

Ledger inform me to send the logs of device for investigate more deeper and try to understand why these 224000 usdt stuck in middle of network until now

Weird but TRC20 is an EVM-compatible and if a transaction is
Reverted, all actions though prior to the revert are undone.

That said, I think the amount is still in the sender account. Weird but I had this same issue a day ago — Tron transactions are now more expensive and the transaction likely revert due to not enough fee. Additionally, your friend should update the device firmware. Happened to me as well.

TLDR:
— Keep more trx in wallet for fees.
— Update ledger live or firmware (if available)

The ton explorer seems very confusing honestly I can't understand much about their explorer they have lots of missing information to troubleshoot this case.

since you said that you are sending 224,000 USDT it seems that this address "TMEX6UFJvTptNqswyCa7HbcPobS6rk97gB" Doesn't actually have that amount based on the balance analysis because 3hrs before you made this transaction you already made a transaction first with this below

Is an insufficient amount balance because the first transaction is confirmed first and this 2nd transaction that you created after the first transaction got this error revert because it's insufficient balance.

If the status is pending it is not the same as the OP issue and I think he didn't yet realize that he already made a first transaction sent to another address before the 2nd transaction the error comes up after the 1st transaction is confirmed that is why the 2nd transaction ended up " Failed -Transaction Revert> " error meaning the wallet does not have enough balance to process the transaction according to Tron FAQs the funds won't process once it fails.

Check your transaction on Tron Explorer to check the status of your transaction click it and scroll down to find the error based on your transaction status it should explain what happened to your transaction.

Contacting their support is definitely the right thing just to make sure.

honestly this problem could be caused by many things, maybe there's delay in the RPC endpoint of the wallet or the wallet can't read tron's blockchain data really well.

but the one who knows really well about what's going on will be the ledger themselves. maybe you can also check the address balance using balanceOf method from the USDT smart contract.

I saw some people have faced the same troubles in the past. But have you done these things?

1. Have you checked the energy of your wallet?

2. Have you connected your ledger to the tronlink and check your balance?

Try to stake some Tron to up your energy. I have heard some have worked with this method.

Ok, after looking into the whole thing in detail. The  "Failed -Transaction Revert>" comes in when there is less amount of tokens in the wallet you are sending from.

Say your wallet has only 1,000 USDT, but you want to send 1,002 USDT. A transaction ID with the error will be generated, but your USDT never moved anywhere. It's a bit confusing because it looks like it's pending, but the USDT never moved out of the wallet. I hope you understand.
